"Great!
is also a physical therapy clinic, so they are always aware of each client's limitations when planning a workout for them. I was tested on my range" of motion before a plan of attack.
, my PT, does a tremendous job of understanding I am not there to workout on some kind of fitness madness thing; I just want to shape up! I am 56 years old and am limited when it comes to certain exercises due to bad knees. Although my schedule limits my visits,
was accommodating by giving me some at-home/on the road exercises. Highly recommend.

This is my second shoulder replacement. My first replacement went well, and I received very good therapy in
Palmview Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
, TX. This time, the surgery went fine, but the therapists and assistants had a very different approach. Judging from the clientele and general attitudes of the staff, this provider seems to specialize in an older age demographic. I am age 54, and still do my best to be athletic. I stay strong in general, and have good upper body strength. Although there is a very reasonable need for caution and a slow start in rehab after a shoulder replacement, these folks seemed way too cautious, particularly as I got past week 6. They provided little notion of how I should transition from working out with few pound weights back up to my pre-surgical levels that were close to my own body weight for chest and back muscle groups. This seemed rather cavalier. I am sure that I'll figure this out on my own, but my last therapists provided much more guidance through that transition. Aside from that issue, the therapy was fine. Staff were, however, aloof to an extreme, except for my actual therapist, who was fine.

All the staff are pleasant and very competent. The office staff makes you feel like you are a part of their family, they know your name the minute you walk in. I've had two therapists over the years,

they were awesome, friendly, kind, caring, efficient and effective. They gently worked my leg/hip and gave me exercises to do. The care did help me, however the issue was completely resolved when I got a new car. Reaching for the gas pedal in the old one was actually causing the problem.

On Monday morning I saw the PT who did a full analysis on me to see where the problem really was. After about 15 or so minutes she started treatment ( explaining everything very clearly) It was 15 minutes of Elector therapy , Then a tissue (test) or message for about the same amount of time. After that we redid some of the same earlier test to see if this was helping or not. I left with 3 more appointments and was shown how to do some stretching that would help. Each visit starts off the same way no matter who I see in the office that day. I have see 3 different PT with the same experience from each. Outstanding !! Through out each visit they are all ways making sure that nothing hurts and that i am comfortable. Moving on, I am still see them i have 2 or so weeks left but each day my back is feeling much better than it has every felt.

They were absolutely outstanding. The medical staff communicated with me, even though they knew I was the sister-in-law. The therapists communicated with me. Everyone treated my sister-in-law and me with dignity and respect. The food was excellent. The accommodations were great. It was a lovely place, and I understand why there is almost a waiting list to go there. Their goal is to rehabilitate people and move them out; not keep them there for 20 days. My sister-in-law was there for less than two weeks, and she so vastly improved that it is absolutely remarkable.

They are very good. The staff were young and seemed to be very knowledgable. They spent a lot of time with individuals. They were consistent in their treatment of people so it seemed. They were very professional but very friendly and warm. The experience was very good. The results were fabulous. We couldn't have asked for anything better. They were also able to recommend other services and doctors for extended care. They were great. I would use them again.

After the eval, I would only spend about 5 minutes of each session with the actual physical therapist. It was usually interns or physical therapy assistants who were with me. My physical therapist commented that there was "hardly anything at all" showing on my MRI. After that, I was just confused about why I was coming in for the appointments. The physical therapist didn't really seem to have a plan for me. I asked how long I would come and he said until the pain had subsided and we would "go from there." I had to remind him about the spinal decompression plan on two different occasions. Seemed like a waste of time and money. Maybe my experience there would have been better if I had a different physical therapist. On a positive note, the front office staff was very helpful and attentive.
