"We had a new dishwasher installed by another vendor. When they had completed the job they used a standard connector to go from the new dishwasher to the water pipe." During that process the connector stopped working due to residue that was in the system from the old dishwasher. Thus, it was no longer useful. The vendor said that he didn't have another connector in the truck and inquired if I would have any problem in getting a replacement. I said I would. After that job was completed I got to thinking that to save my time I would just call
("AG") to come out and replace the connector.
from AG came out and properly replaced the connector. When he was done he noticed the used connector from the vendor that installed the dishwasher. He said that was the correct connector and that the installer should have replaced it. With that input from
I realized that this whole thing was my mistake and that I should have just told the installer that they would have to replace that rather than me. But I didn't! My mistake. I called back the installer to let them know that I should've asked their service people to replace and that I had no complaint. Thanks
for pointing out (in a nice way) my error. I'm out a hundred bucks; but, as they say, my bad. Your
is very professional. Thank him again for his help.

"Made initial contact through Angie's List mail since it was after business hours, and
wrote back within the hour for more information." He called the next day with his ideas on what our problem might be and set the appointment. His diagnosis was spot on (as was his estimate) and he not only fixed those problems, he repaired a loose seal in, and cleaned up, the oven door. And he was friendly -- he definitely gets the call on our next appliance job.

If the ducts are venting through a window I'm assuming the duct work is all easily accessible.  Lowe's and Home Depot sell a cleaning kit that uses an electric drill to spin the brush as it goes through the ductwork.  I've found it to work quite well and you can do it yourself.  It may take a few passes the first time to get everything out if it has been a while since it was last cleaned.  Just make sure you get all of the loose lint out after running the brush through from both ends and you're good to go.  Please note that if the line is not hard but rather a flex duct line you can easily puncture a whole in it with this kit and will do better to clean it by hand.

As stated above, it can vary between companies.

Typically just an inspection implies you do not have a contract or agreement that may include discounts or free repairs.

With our company you would get the annual maintenace service that you should do every year, and if repairs are needed, they are extra, but you aviod paying a "service call charge" that would be related to most repairs, because you are paying for the "inspection" and we are already on site.

Inspections are often discounted in the slow seasons, and can usually be found advertised , at reduced prices , on Angie's List.

So consider Angie's List and find the best of the best in HVAC contractors!

I have never seen one of this type that does not exit the house. You would not want the grease dumping into your basement, even with a filter it will happen.

The greater part of your job will be carpentry as if there is a wall behind the stove a hole will have to be cut up through the basement into the wall up to the stove. Unless it is one of the stoves that allows for it to fit inside a cabinet below. To answer correctly most here would be a picture of where this project is being done. I have done motorized ones that extend up out of the counter when in use and then retract. Those exit through the cabinet and require the cook top is to the front of the counter and not a drop in one

As an added note these tend to be better as they do not pull the heat away from the stove top when in use as much as the ones flush with the stove. I have install quite a few and happen to have an Amana cook top with built in down draft and I have to shut it of to get water to boil on the back burners.

A carpenter will know what can be cut and what not in the basement, a sheet metal contractor should know as well but at the other end for the finish by the stove they might not. Most carpenters that do kitchens have installed the minimal amount of duct work for this. They just have to be carefull with the number of ellbows and the lenght of the duct.

Appliance Repair reviews in Odessa

Called the provider for an appointment. He was willing to come the same day, but I was not available. We agreed to an appointment a couple of days later, and he was on time. He diagnosed the thermostat issue, said he could order the part, and it would take a couple of days. The initial appointment and diagnosis was a Saturday. When I had not heard from him by the following Friday, I called and left a message. He called back and said he had the part. He agreed to come over that same day and replace the thermostat. He arrived at the agreed to time, and he replaced the thermostat.
It has not been long since the repair, but it seems to have fixed the problem.

I have been doing business with Bush Appliance since 1999. I have purchased stoves, dishwashers and refrigerators for two separate homes from Bush. I also purchased my freezer, washer, and dryer from them. The fact I returned to them for appliances when I purchased my second home speaks for their excellent service. On the most recent visit to my home, the Bush Appliance repairman was prompt and called me about 15 minutes before arriving as requested. He replaced the broken drawer and adjusted another part that was not operating correctly. He was very professional and courteous. He was respectful of my home and cleaned up after the job, taking away the shipping materials. This was the second time we have had this particular repairman over from Bush Appliance. Previously he came to fix a problem with my front loading washer. On that visit he cleared a filter below the washer drum clogged by small pieces of rubber backing that came off of a throw rug I had laundered. He showed me all the little pieces of rubber in the filter and recommended I inspect my rugs before laundering. I appreciated him taking the time to explain the problem and to help me avoid unnecessary repair costs in the future. Bush is a top notch operation with focus on good customer service. I wish every business I dealt with was as professional and customer oriented as they are. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

The provider was called 01/05 and arrived as scheduled on\ 01/08. He was not able to repair the unit as he needed to order a part which he stated should be the on 01/12 or 01/13. They would call when it came in and schedule a return trip. We called twice to find our when they would return. They did not return our calls until 01/20 when they scheduled a return trip on 01/22. We had talked to our HSA (home warranty company) and they wanted to talk to the repair man while he was at our home. (This is a normal request for their coverage.) This is a Father/Son business as they advertise and the son made both trips to our house. The son did not want to talk to the HSA and asked that we allow his father to take care of that. The son stated that he would have his father call us THAT DAY 01/22 and take care of the insurance. We have called back on 01/23 and 01/29. The lady takes the message, but no one calls back. We should have only paid the deductible, but we paid the whole bill. At this point we are assuming we got "stuck" with the entire bill because the repairman isn't going to talk to the HSA and/or us because HE HAS HIS MONEY!! We would not recommend this repair company or use them again.

Great service...cleaned out the gunk the dishwasher so the dishes would be cleaner and so forth.
Balanced the spin cycle on the water machine and everything works great.
Positive booking experience, appointment and quality of work experience.
Highly recommend this company.

Our 9-year-old refrigerator left a big puddle on the floor the night before last. My husband had tried to fix it, thinking it was either the icemaker or the defrost cycle, but was unable to figure it out. Hubby guessed it was the defroster because it was dry all day, but we woke up to a big puddle again this morning. I called about 5 companies listed on Angie's list and got voicemail on all of them.
Odessa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
called today at 5 pm about our inquiry, I told him that we have somebody else coming tomorrow. He asked what the problem was. I explained it to him, and he proceeded to tell me what was wrong with the fridge. I put hubby on the phone, and
Odessa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
told him exactly how to fix it!
Who does that???
You can bet that next time we need an appliance repair,

My dryer quit heating while I was doing a lot of laundry. My usual repair man was busy and could not come out for two days. This wouldn't do because of all the wet laundry I currently had. I headed to Angies List. I got the answering machine with one provider so quickly moved on. I called
Odessa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
because they were highly rated. A lady answered the phone! She was able to schedule my appointment for that afternoon. Lincoln arrived on time, was very professional, cleaned up after everything and fixed my dryer for the price of the part and labor. I was so happy it was done the same day and for a reasonable price.

I was actually surprised when the person from
Odessa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
arrived Wednesday morning as it was the day after the "Blizzard of 2015". He diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes, explained what was wrong and then called his office to make sure the part was available. The part was available; he fixed it quickly and was on his way. I was very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely call
Odessa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
again for appliance repair.

The technician was great. Unfortunately, he forgot to put the part in his truck, so he was a couple of hours later than our appointment time. But I had someone at home, so it was ok. I was going to use the 10% coupon on Angie's List. However, the owner
Odessa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
would not accept it. He said that he never authorized that coupon, and that it is only live on the site because of an error on Angie's List side of the business. I told him it was unprofessional, and that in my own business, if I make an error, as long as the customer has proof of the error, than I makegood on the error. I was really aggravated by his snarky response. However, I would use them again because they were super responsive, and the techncian (I think his name was
Odessa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
) was awesome.
