Plumbing Reviews in North Richland Hills

They came out and looked over my situation (yard box was flooded) and determined that it was a leak in the sprinkler system. They were honest and told me how much it would cost for them to fix ($700+ since it required digging up some of the yard). When I discussed trying to do the job myself to save money, they recommended that I call a sprinkler company because they would most likely be able to do the same job for half the price, given that it is an underground sprinkler leak and not necessarily a plumbing leak. The gentleman was very helpful and informative. Since they provide free estimates, all the assessment, advice, and information was free! If I have a true plumbing issue in the future I will certainly call them again!

This was a wonderful experience. I got 2 main projects completed that I've wanted to do for years. Phase 1: The children have always complained that the upstairs bath water would not get hot enough. One plumber told me years ago that I needed a new diverter, which I didn't want to get because of the expense and construction issues involved. Another plumber, about a year ago who installed my new hot water heater, told me it may only need a
adjustment. The
plumber knew exactly what to do. My kids tell me it is much better now. He also cleaned the drain. Phase 2: The rubber grommets in my outside spigots had worn down to where the water would not shut off completely. I kept replacing the grommets, but they would wear down quickly. Again, another plumber told me I would need to tear into the brick work to have it replaced, at great cost. I let it go, but it bothered me greatly. I didn't even want to use the outside faucet. Since
was here, I thought I would ask him about replacing the spigot. It was no problem. He had the fixtures on the truck and just unscrewed the bad spigot out of the wall and screwed the new one in. I was so thrilled that I let him replace the other 2 on the outside of my house!. I'm so happy those have been replaced. All of this took only 1.5 hours, so I still had time left. So I went to - Phase 3: I asked him to replace all valves,
and the flapper (the "guts"). Of the upstairs toilet. This took about 30 minutes, as he took off the toilet tank and replaced even the seal between the tank and the bowl. I got all of this for 2 hours of plumbing time! I didn't have any of the parts necessary to do the work, he provided everything. The outside spigots were $45.00 each, and toilet parts, including the inside parts, the new cutoff valve, and the flex line were another $60.00. The 2 hours of plumbing costs $135.00, and the parts together another $195.00. This will last me for years. Do-it-yourselfers could probably do it for less money, but I'm not a plumber and feel like I got a really great deal.

Plumber arrived promptly after hours to fix broken exterior copper connection to faucet that was spraying water. Difficult space to work in but the plumber did the job great.

The tech was prompt and friendly. He continued to be friendly as he was dramatically overcharging me and leading me astray through the whole process. The "free estimate" that is advertised on Angie's List cost me $185 on top of a very expensive toilet install. Upon seeing the toilet of the house we bought recently, which was pushed up too tightly against the wall and sitting slightly askew, causing a small leak at the floor level. He quickly proclaimed that this a specially made toilet to fit the tight space, we would never be able to find a replacement, and gave a long explanation involving how some home builders mistakenly put the piping too close to the wall, and that the only way to fix the issue would be to "offset" the flange to get a standard toilet to fit, which would involve cutting through the flooring and jackhammering the slab to open a bigger hole - a very expensive project. Other solutions he proposed was to try to find a smaller tank for the toilet to allow it to fit, which he was unable to do. It was only after I googled "toilet 10-inch rough-out" (standard toilets are 12") that a plethora of options for a replacement toilet popped up at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. , and I later found that this is actually a pretty common variation in smaller bathrooms. Due to doom and gloom speech that I'd been given (and hadn't realized yet was way overblown), I still didn't know if these would fit (turns out that was not a problem at all). Then the tech was pushing very hard for a toilet brand I'd never heard of (kickback?), and refused to disclose a price of the actual toilet and other minor parts, nor even let me pick out or see the toilet before committing to the outrageous price of $550 to install - PLUS the $185 for a 30-second "inspection" needed to get me a quote - so much for the Angie's List free estimate offer (I hadn't read that until today). Only through some quick searching completely on my own did I get some mild comfort with the brand and find a model that was acceptable. I normally would have refused to go forward, but I was distracted on addressing my A/C compressor that just went out with my A/C guy and warranty company, I was still uncertain about a new toilet fitting due to the stories I'd been told, and I knew I would not be available to get away from work anytime soon to get another plumber out to address this, so I very grudgingly agreed to move forward with the ridiculous scam pricing. Work was done fine (no issues with fit at all despite the stories that I would never be able to find a replacement), toilet looks fine and seems to flush well, it was just $250 overpriced and I feel I was mislead throughout the entire process.

The serviceman was timely, professional and courteous. He was quick with his repairs, which I appreciated because they charge by the hour, and quality of his work was good. We had one problem after the visit, the serviceman forgot to plug the water heater back in, and we called the company at 8:00pm when we realized what had happened. The owners answered on the first try and walked us through how to restart the heater. We will use this company again.

The service was EXCELLENT! We found water pooled up in our master bedroom and in the garage on Saturday evening, March 15th. They are right next to each other. I went to Angie's List and left messages for 4 plumbers on Sunday morning.

actually returned the call late Sunday afternoon. He told us that his teams were busy but he would have someone stop by in the morning around 9:00am on the way to another job.
Promptly at 9:00, two men showed up, located the leak under the slab/foundation and gave us an estimate and advice on the best way to fix the leak. They also showed us how to turn the hot water on and off just long enough to take showers. Up to this point we had shut off water to the whole house so this was a huge help so that at least we would have running water.
My wife and I received an estimate from 3 different plumbers. Our insurance company wanted us to go with the plumber that they partnered with. We did not get a good feeling about their plumber when he came by. We selected

and it was the right choice.
When we called to make the appointment, we expected to wait 3 to 4 days to fit into their schedule. I think it was

that called us back and said that he would have the same team that did the estimate to be at our house first thing in the morning.

, Nick and

came out to the house and did an AWESOME job fixing the leak. They went even further and cleaned out the shower and bathroom fixtures that may have had sediment build up because of the leak. They were not in a rush and they completed the job sooner than expected so the final bill was LESS than what they had originally estimated.
This is a great company with great staff all around. I highly recommend them.

Let me say up front that

staff and plumber were prompt and courteous. However I called them get an estimate to hook up a built in natural gas grill. The gas pipe was already run from the house and all that was needed was to hook up the line to the grill and make sure it didn't leak. A

10 minute job but one I wanted to be up to code.

quoted me $360 (that includes the $25 coupon from Angie's) and asked me to help move the grill around too. I declined their service and called Leak Geeks who came out and did the job for less than half the price.

It went well. The technician was friendly and professional. He had carefully removed the grass and topsoil where he had to dig and replaced it when he was through - so that the area still looked like it did before he had to dig. I really appreciated that.

Appointment was between 11 and 1. The plumber arrived at 0930, which was good for us as we wanted an earlier time. He had to take the disposal and the ring around the sink drain off as the rubber on the disposer was wedged into the ring. He did it so fast that we didn't even know he was here. He was very professional, clean, and courteous. Will definitely use
