He only checked the breaker, which I told him was turned off when unit was not working at all. He proceeded to tell question how I knew if the unit had power to it and that a digital meter was junk and that the only way to check 220 volts is with a incandescent light bulb. He then informed me that if he pulled the unit (which this old man could not possibly physically do) that he would have to charge and this was not under warranty coverage.

Someone please tell me how the heck you can check the unit if you don't pull it when all of the circuitry is located in the back top of the oven!!!!

Stay away from this place!!! This idiot would rather make money from sitting on his butt rather than actually do the work that he is there to do!!! And btw he did sit on his butt for an hour and did nothing.

When we started having trouble with our air conditioners (we have 3 units), Mr.
Lubbock Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
came out and inspected them. He determined that we had freon leaks (some large, some small) where our evaporator coils had corroded. We really liked that he didn't just tell us what was wrong, he showed us, too. He topped off our freon to hold us over until he got the parts in, which didn't take long at all. Mr.

and his team then came in and replaced the evaporator coils in all three units and recharged the systems. He also repaired a condensation drain line that hadn't been working properly and treated the mold that had formed. After they were done, they made sure everything was neat and clean where they had been coming in and out of the house.

Service is the warranty repair service for Frigidaire products. We had a Frigidaire microwave installed in our
Lubbock Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
home over a week ago. It was brand new, yet has never worked. We were told it would be quicker to have Frigidaire warranty take a look at it than re-order another microwave. Frigidaire warranty will not replace the microwave - only service it (despite the fact that Frigidaire sold us a microwave that did not work out of the box). Each time we were given a service date through Frigidaire's customer service department, Old Guys Appliance rescheduled. On the third service date, I received two calls from the service technician, one at 25 minutes away and one at 20 minutes away. My son and his dog were at the house. My son found a business card outside this afternoon but never heard anyone knock or ring the doorbell. His dog always loudly barks at everyone who comes to the door. When I called the office, I was told the technician claimed no one came to the door so he tried calling me but I wouldn't answer. My phone had been with me the entire day and I received no further calls from him other than the two he made while traveling to the house. The receptionist, who was not only rude and obnoxious but also extremely unprofessional and combative, informed me that in no uncertain terms did her technician lie about calling me or waiting for someone to answer the door. When I insisted upon speaking with the owner, she hung up on me.

Late on a Saturday afternoon, after numerous calls to Appliance Repair companies who claimed to respond to calls 24/7 but clearly did not, we reached
Lubbock Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
. He got all the information and came to our home immediately. He was polite, explained all pertinent information in detail, answered questions and was even able to get the refrigerator to work until he could get parts and return. He didn't charge for an after hours service call and did not take any money from us until he returned and finished the repairs. His communication skills were excellent. This was a very positive experience and we would call him again for any appliance repairs needed.

Before the technician arrived to look at my dishwasher I knew that three small inexpensive parts were broken and would need to be replaced. I showed him the parts and stood by as he ordered the parts. As I stood next to him I smelled alcohol. I know the smell all too well. When he returned a week later with the parts he ONLY replaced one part. MY MISTAKE TO ASSUME. I guess because I had three broken parts I shouldn't assume that he would replace all three. Later that day I called
Lubbock Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
and told them my situation. The sent a different technical at my request the following week. He looked at the broken parts and ordered them.
The company was not going to leave a receipt/invoice of the work order. I had to ask for one and then he put me on the phone with someone in the office who took down my email address and then did NOT send it to me. I had to ask a second time before receiving it.

Called him on Monday. Was told by his wife that he was swamped and it may be a couple days before he could get to me. Very pleasant woman and I appreciated her honesty. Told her that waiting was not a problem and she said she would give me a call. He did in
Lubbock Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
call me that evening and he was able to work me in the next afternoon. He asked me to text him the model number so that he could bring some parts that may be responsible for the issues that were causing my washer to not work. (
Lubbock Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
should take lessons from this man. When they came to work on something they ALWAYS have to come back because they never have a part with them.) When he showed up to fix the washer, it took longer to write the check then it did for him to fix the washer. Very nice, professional, and reasonable. Will use him again.

This is the third time we have used
Lubbock Small Appliance Repair Provider Name Locked
, so I knew what to expect in the way of service. The owner was professional, responsive and punctual as he has been every time. His honesty is refreshing and we always feel like we can trust what he tells us about our appliances. He has saved us money on one costly repair by identifying a warranty we didn't even know we had. (5 yr compressor warranty that went beyond the 1 yr I knew about) Even knowing that the warranty work on this particular appliance would have to be done by another company, he did not hesitate to give me the information and steer me in the right direction.
I highly recommend the company and it's owner.

I was selling the home and right before the walkthrough inspection, the oven burner failed. I called everyone and could not get a close enough appointment, but when I called these guys, they responded immediately. When they discovered that the faulty part was not standard and therefore not readily available, they drove across town to obtain the part same-day. I truly felt like they shared in the urgency of the situation and made my problem theirs.
They were fast, responsive, and even after all that running around and visiting twice on the same day, they charged less than what I was quoted by some of the others. If I run into any appliance issues in the future, I will only call these guys. I highly recommend them to everyone who is in need of appliance repair.
