"We were very impressed beginning with our visit to the showroom at which time we selected the flooring, the professionalism of the owner when he came to our home to measure, and with the workmen who put down the carpet and the hardwood flooring. From start to finish we were very pleased.

did some very nice work, but he walked off the job before it was finished. We were left with a garage full of trash and paint cans, a screen door that was not installed and many minor problems (such as the fact that his painter did not paint the walls behind the shutters). My husband has documented all the flaws we found and the book is 24 pages long. The most serious problem is that a few weeks after we moved into the house, we discovered that the shower in the master bedroom leaks water into the adjoining closet (which is carpeted) and other areas of the bathroom if we use it. So we have not been able to use our beautiful new shower. After many weeks of phone calls and e-mails, we finally did get
Georgetown Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to come look at the shower. He said he would order materials and be back the following week to fix it, but he never showed up and now he refuses to return our calls or answer our e-mails.

"They were really good. We think they’re good. Their professionalism, service and clean up were very good. They did an excellent job. Their price was okay. We got super good quality for a good price because we are their former customers and they like us. They were here when they said they would be here. Everything was copacetic. Their professionalism was okay. It was good. We will use them again in the future but we hope we

’t have to.

"We were guided to CFW by our builder (
Georgetown Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Homes) as a source for hardwood flooring and ceramic floor & wall tile. I have to say that we were somewhat underwhelmed by their showroom, expecting something with a lot more selection. However, as an 'allowance' item, we were free to shop around, and we did. Regarding the tile, we found their pricing for material + install to be fairly competitive (installation is expensive no matter where you go). We ended up selecting it from a variety of sources but using CFW to source and install it mainly because the builder had worked with then extensively and savings going elsewhere were minimal. So, ultimately the showroom limits didn't really matter. However, for the tile we installed ourselves (around 25%) it was a little cheaper from other vendors and (more importantly) easier to get if we stayed local (see separate review of Mill Direct in Georgetown!). Regarding the hardwood flooring, we stuck with an engineered product. After looking at several other suppliers, we came back to CFW. They had a nice own brand product which was very reasonable for the non-public areas, and their pricing (including install) for the brand name (much more substantial) product for the public spaces was quite competitive. They would have got an 'A' for price if this was just for hardwood flooring! Both tile and hardwood install quality was good overall, though (as is typical for new construction) there were a few punch items to resolve, mostly due to less than perfect work during the install. However, they did take care of them all quickly and without argument (so I gave them a 'B' for quality). Overall, a good company to work with which we would recommend to others."

"Excellent experience from start to finish.
Georgetown Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was a great help with color and wood selection plus other home interior decorating advice. Everything went exactly as scheduled. Very clear instructions on every aspect of the whole process. The installers were terrific in attitude, helpfulness and skills. There were no shortcuts taken. It was a pleasure to either watch them or go about our business as we required (job took three days). The unexpected stained concrete & unusually unlevel floors were taken in stride. We researched Angie's List and chose three high recommended installers to contact. All three gave us confidence in their product and work. After the interview process we were mildly surprised to find that we had changed our preconceived idea of who we would hire. I would recommend taking the time to go through this process. It will confirm your first idea or lead you in a new direction as it did for us. We couldn't be happier with our choice of product or installer. Remember to install felt pads under furniture before placing it on the wood."

"From the time that they did the initial design and rework, to doing the carpentry work to raise the bar and installing the granite, I would say that they did a real super professional job. They prepped the granite back at their shop, to get it ready to be installed, and so they had to do almost zero rework here at the house. They just had to do some fine-tuning bits of work. Compared to the others that I got, they were better with their price. I got a lot better wood from them than I would have got elsewhere. When they walked away after the job, we didn't have to clean up anything, and that was really great. They didn't even use my trash can for anything, even though I offered it to them."

"The floor is really nice. The work done, for the most part, seems good. There is one area where a "transition" popped up. Our biggest issue, however, is that a pocket door that will no longer close without scrapping along the sides of the molding surrounding the door. They had to cut into the bottom of the molding to

the flooring, and in the process they caused the wood to move. The installer called the following day to see if there were any issues, and I explained that there were at least two. They said they would have an "inspector" come out in two weeks and look at the issues. I thought that was sort of a long time. After the inspector comes out next week, they said that they would determine when or if the pocket door issue would be corrected. I sure hope so, as the door is usually closed daily, and its a real problem trying to use it now."
