"I got my roof replaced by Storm 2 years ago. He was on time, very professional and had great attitude. We called him because of a leak in the roof. He had fixed the leak and suggested the full replacement due to hail damage. He did the work quickly without ...more any problems. I had enjoyed working with him. Lately there came out a problem so I called him. He came by the same day after finishing up his work, and stood by his work and fixed it for us. Same attitude towards his work is there. I would definitely work with him again. "

"After a recent hail storm my insurance company agreed to not only replace my roof, but they also agreed to a long list of minor damages that totaled several thousand dollars. The other items included painting parts of the house, new screens, staining ...more the fence and patio cover, etc. The first couple of companies I contacted insisted on taking the list and completing all of the items and in exchange they would simply take the entire amount I received from the insurance company. I couldn't get anyone to just give me a detailed list for each item. The whole deal just felt very shady to me, you know the line - "Just give me all of the money and I'll take care of everything, you don't need to be bothered with the details." Might work for some people but I like to know what I am getting for my money.
But when I met with
, he was very honest and open from the very beginning, He gave me a complete list of all prices and allowed me to select only what I wanted to be done by his company. This allowed me to select a different company for the house painting and for me to take care of the staining and screens myself, which would save me a great deal of money!
a 50% deposit, he was very good on staying in touch with us and working us into his busy schedule when we had some scheduling problems of our own. His crew took only one day to complete the project and did and excellent job. They were very polite and the job site was spotless when they left. You could tell they were just good people. When we did discover a small problem the next day, they showed within a couple of hours to take care of it, and we had already made our final payment - that's a sign of a good company! He followed up with the paperwork for the insurance company which allowed me to receive the depreciation money that they hold until the work is completed.
I just can't say enough positive things about
and his roofing company. He does busy the old school way, he will look you in the eye and tell you the truth, and then do a good quality job at a fair price. You can't go wrong with

"I worked with
. He was always punctual and kept us in the loop for the entire project. These guys were great. They handled my insurance claim and kept me informed. The job site was very neat compared to my neighbors. They did complete the roof in one day and I have a very large roof (54 squares). I would definitely hire
representative. He was terrific; he listened to our needs and was very responsive to questions. He and
kept us well aware of the schedules including needed changes due to weather.
Our roof suffered hail damage; the job required a new roof and gutters, the new roof ...more and gutters look great. We also discovered issues with our chimney flashing, they did an excellent job replacing the old incorrectly installed flashing with new correctly installed flashing – this was no minor task as a part of the chimney had to be disassembled. They also retro vented the attic – turned out
the builders had added metal soffit vent grills without cutting holes in the soffits. We are very pleased with the work. The house looks great and the attic is much less hot.
By the time the job was done, three different crews worked on the project, roofers, gutter installers, and the ventilation guy. Each was very professional and timely. Based on our experience we are happy to recommend
"This is the first time I have ever had to make a claim on my home and deal with replacing a roof due to hail damage. I was very nervous with hearing about all of the fly by night companies that flock to an area where hail storms roll through. I called my insurance company (USAA) and they recommended
. I’m very pleased that ...more I decided to use this company to replace my roof. They were very professional from start to finish. They came out to view my roof the same day I called my insurance adjustor and it was on a Sunday evening. The estimate was completed in a timely manner and submitted
to USAA. Within 2 weeks it was approved and I scheduled the install date. I talked with
and he was very professional and did everything promised plus more. Without using a pressure sell technique he recommended and used higher quality products that made my roof look outstanding and is the best looking in the neighborhood. The value of their service and quality of products are definitely worth every penny. Also, they had crew of 7+ workers that finished my entire roof in one day. I have seen others in my neighborhood taking about 2+ days to finish the work. I went to work came home and had a new roof. You can’t beat that! Not to mention my yard is spotless. There are no nails, shingles or tarp anywhere. Also, they are very customer service oriented and want to ensure you are 100% completely satisfied. I noticed two of my circular vent caps didn’t get replaced and when I notified
he had someone come out the next day to replace them with no hassle. He also noticed some overspray from the paint on the shingles and had them replaced. I’m so happy I went with
and I’ll definitely use them again. The last thing I wanted to comment on is their great warranty they offer at a minimal price. I highly recommend it. "
"First, this job was covered by insurance and Second, the roof looks GREAT and the quality is outstanding! I would rate the gutter work as average. I questioned the contractor about the building codes as the downspouts extended 6 inches from the foundation whereas I believe they should extend 12 to 18 inches to help drainage. I have been informed ...more they will come back out to extend the downspout, however it has not been completed yet.
My biggest complaint is the punctuality. We were informed the roofers would arrive Saturday morning at 7 AM and would be completed by 4:30 PM the same day. I left the house at 8:30 AM Saturday morning and contacted the company that I was leaving and the roofers had not shown yet. At that time, I was informed they were in route. I returned to the house around noon and was informed by the contractor (who was at the house) that the roofers did not show up until after 11AM. He then mentioned the crew members had a rough night. I was also informed by the contractor that he would be leaving shortly because he had to attend a baseball game to try and close a deal with a much bigger fish. (paraphrasing) The workers were on the roof until after 8PM and only completed half the roof. I talked to the contractor and he informed me that he would be at the house first thing Sunday morning to inspect the house. The next morning, the crew showed up at 7AM and started work without a knock on the door or anything. (That was a nice alarm clock to wake up to) The contractor did not show up until late morning apologizing and claiming he had a rough night as well. The gutters were suppose to be replaced Tuesday or Wednesday (2 to 3 days) and we finally got them replaced 19 days later. We were informed the gutter crew had a tough supervisor at the previous job who was a stickler and they were having to spend extra time there. Additionally the gutter crew did not show up until after the owner of the company called me and asked how his company did. At that time I informed him the gutter work was not completed and said the contractor had been out of state and he would find out what was going on with the gutter crew.
During the whole process I felt like my house was a nuisance rather than a priority. I can only assume this is because the monies were being paid by an insurance company (hail damage) and not out of my pocket. Perhaps it would have been a better experience if I was paying for the roof/gutters on my own.
After our disappointments were discussed with the company by the person who referred us to them, the contractor called and apologized for the timeline of the job and that the crew chief had been fired because they did not appreciate the tardiness. (Which was funny, because the contractor only showed up on time once...to get the contract)
They promised baseball tickets and a spa day for the wife for the troubles. "
came out and did a very detailed and thorough inspection. They let you know when they are coming to do the job, when they take breaks during lunch in leaving the work site, and when they are finished for the day. They also did a good job cleaning up after the job is done. If you are concerned about something ...more or want something done, they answer your questions and try and do it for you. They are courteous and hard-working. "
quickly determined that there was no water damage due to the broken skylight. The skylight had a small hole that had leaked into the kitchen sink during the night time storm. They then covered the skylight with a tarp and tape. The skylight has been covered for weeks pending a total roof replacement. It has held up through ...more high winds and storms. I'm happy with the work they performed. They arrived early AM to do the work which was nice since further storms were expected. They charged the basic service rate of $95, which was fine with me because I do not like to get on the roof for any reason. I called
for the work based on the recommendation of State Farm. "
"Nick actually was driving by and stopped to help us move some furniture. He made a bid on the roof and was very competitive..also very honest and upfront. Job was interrupted by rain, but he was careful at all times to make sure roof was never vulnerable. They worked one area at a time, only stripping what they could replace immediately. It took them ...more longer, but that was a plus to me because they insured the rain would not come when the roof had no tiles in any area. Roof looks great, and they cleaned the area well. Everyone was polite and careful of animals and people entering and leaving property. "
of 4/3/2014 resulted a storm cloud of roofer driving up and down the street, knocking on doors. Having had previous experience with fly-by-night contractors I did not trust any of them. We called a friend real estate agent for some recommendations (sorry Angie). She recommended
Roofing. ...more They had just finished a job where damage came after the contract to sell but before closing.
At that point I did not know if a claim to the insurance company was needed and wanted an inspection before the claims inspection.
Faharendorf came the following day to inspect.
explained the claims process, explained the need for the check to be endorsed by the lean holders and the depreciation reimbursement. His recommendation was to file a claim. I did.
When the claims inspector was assigned and we got a firm appointment for his inspection (took about three days)
agreed to come and meet the inspector. When they came down off the roof the insurance company was prepared to cut a check for the roof replacement.
At this point I had two choices, pay
for his inspection services and find a roofer or sign up to have
's company do the roof. After a slight delay while I checked BBB I hired
Weather delayed the roof installation, we had some high winds in April, until May 2. All in all one month from storm to replacement I felt was pretty good.
The roofing material arrived about an hour before the crew was scheduled to begin. I have always been a fan of the efficiency of "just in time planning. This was a perfect execution of that pattern.
The roofing crew arrived nearly on time in the early morning. There was some drinking of coffee an milling about before they hit the roof. When they did the 10 men on the crew worked straight until they took a late lunch about 3 in the afternoon. They finished at dusk. During the day they continually policed the yard picking up scraps and rolling the yard with a magnet to pick up nails. I will admit that there were a few scraps of a couple of sq inches each found. The recent rain did flush some nails off the roof as well. However, considering the volume of material that came off the roof a few sq inches is minimal. (Better than 5 sigma).
Given that this event happen in the middle of our preparing to list our house and that it did add stress we came out the other side with a 50 year transferable certificate that we can present to the new owners.
