Frisco Movers Reviews

"Very prompt and professional.
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
and his team helped move me from my apartment and storage facilty to my new house. They were very knowledgeable on moving particular items that was fragile. They made sure everything was packed well and protected. The price was amazing. 20 minutes after the move, the manager followed up with a call to ensure we were happy. I'm extremely happy and please with the move. I will definitely use this company again and has recommended this to my friend who is moving in the next few months.

"The initial estimate for the move was for one day and it was estimated to cost approximately $3,500; but the initial packing and move cost double that and took two days. We were not at home to supervise most of the move because my wife became very ill over the weekend, and we were with medical specialists most of the two days of the move. For reasons we never understood, they broke down some furniture and lamps and such into component parts that should not have been broken down. They put some components in one box and others in a different box. They ended up breaking a variety of items, including figurines in our
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
cabinet, a clock, and several others. Much worse, they badly scratched our dining room Hutch (and broke a door), a teak coffee table, and a new cherry wood desk. The packed boxes were not marked; and so when the boxes arrived at the new home, we couldn't tell what box went to what room, without opening the box and guessing, since the components in the box were wrapped up as well. In some cases, some items were individually wrapped, and in others, major items were not wrapped. It was very inconsistent.
The teak coffee table was intricately carved and imported from Thailand. It was severely cut and gouged.
We asked for some consideration after they had obviously misjudged the initial cost estimate as we had used that estimate to negotiate the payment for the move.
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
said that they would try to assist us with the storage cost; but after weeks of discussions, they did nothing at all.
We bought supplemental insurance from Move Insure (at Element's recommendation); but Move Insure went into reorganization and then refused to help, stating that according to the small print they were not liable for scratches and broken items that occurred during storage at
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
. And we couldn't prove where the breakage occurred.
The moving crews of Element were nice guys who lacked training and supervision. We bought them drinks and we gave them a few hundred dollars tip. But the management at Element would not help us in any way.

"They came the day before the move and packed us, there were 3 young men. They worked from the moment they arrived, which was close to 8 am and finished around 5-5:30 pm; we purchased lunch (burgers) and they were hesitant to break for that, but we insisted and they stopped briefly, maybe 15 min. When it looked like we were low on boxes I'd leave to purchase more. If they'd provided them they would've just gotten them from their trailer, and would only have charged us for the ones used, as it turned out some of those we'd purchased ahead of time were the wrong size anyway. (Word to the wise, let them provide boxes)
Move Day; they arrived around 8am with two trailers and 6 men. Again they worked from the moment they stepped into the home. They moved, loaded and took apart furniture, which surprisingly our sofa, love-seat, as well as our recliner could be, they took apart beds, etc., putting all back together for us when we arrived in Abilene. They moved our refrigerator and freezer with the food still in it, it was still cold and frozen when we arrived in Abilene. We stayed a little and cleaned the house for about an hour after they'd left, thinking we had plenty of time, that they would be slow going to Abilene. As it turned out they arrived at our new house about 20 minutes before us, luckily we were able to give them a code to get in and they started unloading, they put those things in place where we wanted and even put all the beds, sofa etc back together for us. They were finished by 4-4:30pm and were headed back to

, when they left. It was unbelievable, how efficient they were. We highly recommend them, and have already told a few neighbors in
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
and both our realtors in Dallas and Abilene. Plus the cost savings was fantastic. (Another bid from a well known moving company was $3500-$3800 more)

"This company is a marketing company and outsource moving to another crew/group. The sales representative was good and responsive though. She followed up and scheduled the move. They have scheduled the move from 12-2 and informed me @ 12 that they are running late. They estimated that if i have 5 bedroom stuff and need to move within 30 miles it should take 2-3 hours. They took 4.5 hours :). Poor me need to spend double.
Anyway, later i could not locate a piece of my TV stand. Called driver and he was very rude. When i asked why you didn't install and tell me the missing piece, he was like "I asked you if you want me to do anything else and you said no". How the h*** i am suppose to know he has not assemble a piece of the table or to that matter one of the zillion thing? Anyway i found the stuff back in the old apartment.

"This was my first big move with a house full of stuff any significant distance, 300 miles. Yes, I was nervous about a lot of things, but at every turn the Moving Service answered my questions promptly. The day of the move the guys showed up right on schedule,

,

, and
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
did a very thorough job of wrapping my furniture with blankets and shrink wrapping everything. They were careful going up and down the stairs and through doorways. I couldn't believe the attention to detail they went above and beyond my expectations, I knew my belongings were in good hands. The next morning they arrived at my new home, again right on time. They unloaded everything in time before the rain hit, thankfully! They reassembled my furniture and were very patient with me when I asked "can you move that over another 3"?" They again went above and beyond expectations!

all were excellent and helpful. I have moved more than 15 times in the past, but this being my first big move I was cautious and skeptical at first especially with stories of horrible moving experiences that people have had. I made sure to check out Angie's list, the better business bureau and TXDot first as I would recommend anyone do that is selecting a mover. I would totally recommend the Moving Service, nice people, nice price, and very good service. If I need a mover in the future, they will be the first I call.

"While they were on time, kind, and courteous, be sure to buy the "Increased Carrier Liability". If they damage items, you will not be compensated properly. They caused approx $500 in damages through negligence (not an accident). I got $90 after working with them for 3 months.

"I cannot believe how smoothly this move went. The guys were excellent and they worked SO hard NON STOP. And it was HOT. I was actually worried going in that they wouldn't be motivated to work hard - like some hourly companies would do - but the exact opposite occurred and I actually wanted them to take a break a little because they never did! My husband and I have done the moves ourselves in the past and even though my husband is very particular and careful, we always ended up with a scratch or 2 on something. Two months later and I have yet to find one single thing that was damaged in the move. This was literally the best money I have ever spent and we are looking forward to using them again for our move in a few weeks.

Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
and the team from
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
were great to work with. After initially finding them here on Angie's list, I called and coordinated a local move in
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
. They called a few days before to verify all details were still the same ... and coordinated arrival times. The team was prompt and worked hard and quickly. After firs 28 foot trailer was full and being transported to my house, another team from King showed up to pick up the remaining items from storage ... and then stop by the apartment to pick up all of the furniture and boxes in the 3br apartment. All-in-all it was a very positive experience ... and I would definitely use
Frisco Movers Provider Name Locked
again and recommend them for sure!
