Flooring Reviews in Fort Worth

We bought an older house that needed the wood floors redone before we could move in. I had three or four contractors come out and give me estimates.
's price came in on the low side but not the cheapest. I went with
because of his knowledge of flooring and his friendly personality. He started the job within a day or two and did not stop until the job was done. He was on time and he always called to give me updates. The best part was how the floors looked after he was done. The floors were beautiful and are holding up great.

For any work in our home we always get bids from at least 3 vendors. This company is in east Dallas and we live in southwest Fort Worth. We chose
as one of the vendors based on the rave reviews in Angie's List so we had high hopes that this company would be able to do the job for us. The company responded promptly to the call and the salesman,
, was punctual in meeting the arranged appointment time.
brought numerous carpet and tile samples and measured the space while my husband and I sifted through samples. While a couple of samples were promising, we did not find something that we just loved so instead of giving us a price for a tentative selection,
invited us to come to the new showroom in Dallas to view other materials.
We drove to the showroom in east Dallas to meet with
and other company staff. To our dismay the showroom did not have many flooring samples and what they did have was in a state of disarray. While we were aware that the company had recently moved that was no excuse for the lack of organization of flooring materials. We selected another carpet and tile sample that they allowed us to check out to bring home. Once home we determined the samples we had were not acceptable and called the company to report that fact and that we would be returning the samples.
My husband went back to Dallas to return the carpet and tile samples on a Friday afternoon. He got stuck in traffic and arrived at 4:55 PM, expecting the showroom to be open until 5:00 PM. On arrival he saw a stream of people coming out of the showroom. He went to the door to find it locked. While considering what to do next someone in the parking lot asked if he wanted in, came back to unlock the door and then turned around again to return to the parking lot and left. My husband went into a darkened room, but fortunately there was one office in the back with a light on and someone in the office. He turned over the samples and asked that they be returned to
. While the early departure of some company staff on a Friday afternoon is understandable, my husband was surprised that the staff member who came back to unlock the door did not even inquire about what he wanted. On the other hand, we accept responsibility for our failure to call ahead to tell them he was coming.
We decided not to use this company for two reasons. First, while the salesman,
, was professional, he did not provide us with a ballpark estimate of the work based on initial selections. Second, the inadequacy of the showroom was very disappointing.

Flooring reviews in Fort Worth

Price was fantastic, all-inclusive, and we paid what was quoted. No games with pricing. Installers were professional and extremely efficient. I can't say enough good things about the experience.
- Brandy M.

In one word absolutely AMAZING in all respects! I could not be happier with the customer service, sale representative, products, pricing, and job performance! They were also willing and able to move up the installation period due to my need for an earlier completion.

These guys are AMAZING. They have customer service down. They scheduled around our time so it was convient for us, I seriously think if I asked them to start work at 5 am they would have accommodated it. They were also very clean and had a lot of pride in their work. They gave me great care instructions for the flooring and they came out looking amazing!!! The value they added to our house will go a long way when/if we resell. We will expand the home and don't want anyone other than
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
doing our new floors. I highly recommend them and would be willing to provide references for them, call (512) 413-3491. I promise they won't disappoint you!

I could not have been happier with the work that

understood the urgency of the situation and came to the home immediately. He quickly gave me a quote and started the work immediately. The home is of pier and beam design and is a historical home which made the expertise of

even more important. He understood how important it was to insure the historical integrity of the home was maintained and went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that it was. As the job was progressing,

I really could not have been happier with the work he did and would( in fact I already have) give him my highest recommendation.

I hired
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to remove and replace the carpet in my main living area, master bedroom, two guest rooms, four closets and a small hallway. I scheduled the install a few weeks in advance.
ONE DAY PRIOR to the scheduled install date I had still not heard when the installers were coming. I emailed my contact,
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, to find out when the installers would arrive. He informed me that the carpet was not in and that they would need to push the install back to Saturday (originally scheduled for Wednesday). We were also coordinating my time off, painters and other issues - so moving the install to Saturday wasn't really an option. We settled on Friday - even though I was assured at the outset that we had scheduled in plenty of time to install that Wednesday.
The install was interesting. The installers showed up late on Friday without calling, but immediately got to work removing the old carpet. This left my house a dusty mess (which was to be expected). They remove the old pad, start installing the new pad and carpet. Everything seemed to be going well.
The carpet I picked is lush - very nice and thick with a thick pad. I'm not sure these installers had much experience installing carpet so thick. It took them quite a bit of time to get it attached to the tack boards and stretched. But, after making a ton of noise, they finished up.
Outside of a very light vacuuming, almost no cleanup occurred. They hauled off the old carpet - but fragments remained in the yard and throughout my house. It was Friday evening around 6 p.m. at this time and it was clear they wanted to go home.
THIS IS WHERE THE REAL ISSUES START: Upon inspecting my carpet, I noticed that nearly all of my baseboards had been damaged. From scuffs to major scratches and grooves to nails sticking out that had come loose. I also had grooves in almost all the door frames from the equipment and a small crack in the drywall in one of the guest rooms. THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE. I attempted to discuss this with the install crew, but he didn't quite understand my issues and I said I would take it up with my contact.
I signed off on the install at that point because I was assured my contact would take care of the issue. I also paid the remaining balance (both bad mistakes).
The following Monday, I emailed
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
with photos of all the damage and an explanation of what had happened on Friday. I said I wanted this fixed and I wanted a contractor of my choosing to do the work.
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
insisted to have his contractor come back and fix the damage - but I refused. Why would I let the contractor that caused the damage try to repair it?
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
said that approval would have to come from the owner of the company to do it my way. I said that was fine - but the owner happened to be "out of the country" for a few days. In the meantime, I placed a stop payment on the check I wrote a few days earlier to try and ensure this would be fixed. About two weeks later, I heard back from
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
that the owner had approved me using an outside contractor.
So, I proceed to have the baseboards replaced and spent a good deal doing so. I submitted this number to
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and was rebuffed. At this point, I was dealing directly with the president
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. He told me there was no way I could have spent so much having baseboards replaced - and went so far as to say he never approved the work.
At this point, I told
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
that the work was done and I had spent what I spent. Based on my calculation, we had spent more in time / effort / materials than what was still "owed" to
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, but
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
disagreed. I told him to suggest an alternative sum and I would consider it, but I didn't hear from him again for several weeks.
Then, three days ago, I get a certified letter from
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
stating that they had attempted to collect the remaining balance from me, but emails and phone calls had gone unreturned and THEY HAD NEVER HEARD FROM ME. Nevermind all the emails back and fourth about the project issues after the install. Plus, I have YET to receive a phone call from
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
despite him saying he's left multiple messages.
Now, despite photo evidence to the contrary (and the fact that we had two of these rooms painted the day before carpet went in),
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
is accusing us of not having any damage and demanding the remaining payment.
To this point, this is unresolved.
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
has threatened us with a mechanic's
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and possible legal action because I stopped payment. I am in the process of posting all of my email conversations with
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, plus photos of the damage to
This project started just like any other - but quickly devolved when issues arose. To this point,
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
has yet to offer us a discount for our trouble and has rescinded his offer to pay for the damage. I simply wanted new carpet for my house. Instead, I have this ridiculous situation and treats from
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. Unacceptable.

We had several rooms (about 850 square feet) of original red oak hardwoods that were badly weathered and scratched in areas, plus boards that had been damaged by termites, and an area of floor that was repaired by wide pine planks that did not match the rest of the floor.
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
were able to come in and replace the mismatched and damaged boards, then came back at a later date and sanded everything down. Once they were sanded they put down some stain that we chose to show us what it would look like (since different woods take the stain differently). They were able to sand and stain in one day, and then over the next 3 days they came back to put down 3 coats of polyurethane (each day after the initial sanding and staining they were there for 2-3 hours). Our floors look amazing now, they did an excellent job. The repaired boards match perfectly, you would never be able to tell that they weren't original to the house like the rest. I would use them again.

From the moment we entered the showroom until the finished job we knew we had chosen the right place to purchase our flooring.
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, the saleslady was fantastic. She explained our choices of carpeting, advantages and disadvantages of brands as well as quality. Once we determined our price range the choice was easy with all the knowledge we now had thanks to
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. She also helped us with the choice of laminate or wood flooring. They let us take home samples to make sure our choices suited us in our home. The following work day
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
came out to measure for the carpeting and flooring with great news of our miscalculations. We had measured incorrectly for the carpeting and we joyfully ended up spending less than we had originally thought. It took about a week for the carpeting to come in at which time the installers came and removed the old carpet and installed the new. They were on time, professional, communicated with us before working and cleaned up after themselves. They told us how to take care of the carpet, returned furniture to its proper place and never took a break. They were great. We had the same excellent experience with the laminate floor installers. They told us everything that needed to be done and did a beautiful job. We are more than pleased with the results and would recommend
Fort Worth Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to anyone! We were very happy with the price also!
