Electrical Reviews in Carrollton

did an excellent job. He scheduled the job on very short notice, arrived on time, completed the work quickly and just did a great job overall!
He's very nice, very professional, and I will definitely call him again if I need electrical work.

The technician,
Harper, arrived within the scheduled time and was cordial and professional from the start (wore shoe covers and showed ID). I explained the situation and he was able to quickly fix it. Since he was able to fix it so quickly, I asked him to provide estimates for other needs around the house (replace ceiling fan, light fixture, outdoor lights) and he was able to do so. He recommended a house surge protector but was not pushy about it all.
was very friendly and said if we should call for any of the other discussed work, he'd be the one to show up.

Electrical reviews in Carrollton

I bought new dishwasher to replace the original one installed by builder 25 yrs ago! When store delivered it and was ready to install it, we found out the builder had hot wired the old one. So, I was informed that I had to get an electrician to install a wall plug for safety reasons and to meet city code. I called about six different companies and most wanted to charge me extra because it involved pulling out the old dishwasher to install the plug.
But, I feel lucky to have found

because they were the most reasonable in price, and tried to work me in the same day, but couldn't till the next morning, but that was ok with me, since the others couldn't come out till three days later.
They were also professional and friendly and even cleaned up all the debris the builder had left behind the old washer.

I was at the end of my option period on a house. The home inspector was unable to access the electrical panel (sellers had several boxes stacked up, which accidentally blocked it) but did notice that all of the exterior outlets were not powered.

to the rescue! I called him around 10:00 a.m. and he went out himself at 11:00 a.m. same day! He gained access to the electrical panel, reset the switched off exterior outlets, and ensured it was a good breaker box and that all was in order.
It was a lovely experience and I certainly plan to use

C & B did a good job. There were some compiications related to the meter and needing Oncor to disconnect the power, etc. The electricians from C & B were very helpful during this process, explained what I needed to tell Oncor, arranged a city inspection, and waited for Oncor to return to turn the power back on afterwards.

The electrician arrived 15 minutes ahead of the schedule time which worked out perfectly because I had overbooked my morning. He asked where the problem was and promptly took care of it while explaining to me the exact nature of the problem. I could not be happier with the service provided me and highly recommend

I received a phone call prior to arrival...I did not have the extension bar needed to install the fan so he offered to go to Home Depot to pick one up for me. The fan works great.

Electrician made multiple attempts to get my ceiling fan working - wiring and re-wiring the mess I had created, tested and re-tested. In the end it was agreed that we just need to replace it. This only took about 30 minutes so I had actually put a second job on the docket because I had a feeling this would go quick and we had purchased 2 hours worth of work thru Angies list. Well, it was under-counter lighting (several florescent light fixtures/lights) that had quit. He found a burned out switch, identified aluminum wiring that had been incorrectly pigtailed to a copper switch. He replaced switch, pigtailed the CORRECT way and it's all working now.
The only negative to say is he was obviously annoyed at the attempt I had made to fix my own problem and in doing so made more of a mess for him. He was talking on his cell at one point and comments he made were a little offensive. "Customer tried to DIY and now there's a wiring mess up here" (almost exact words). To me it was an unnecessary comment as I was obviously not happy I hadn't properly diagrammed the job before attempting it. I'm not a total amature at wiring (did auto electric work for years so know my way around schematics, electric motors, etc.) but only found out after I had torn it apart that ceiling fan switches are NOT universally wired...home owner, beware! Diagram and take pictures before you take out the old switch!!

made the appointment for several days called that morning to see if they could come earlier that day than we agreed which was fine by us. bought this as a special and work was performed within an hour. we purchased the necessary materials from them as well.

The electrician came out and I explained what I wanted. I had already laid out the switches near each wall plate where they needed to be installed. He installed approximately 8 of the switches in the allotted time. This involved reconfiguring some older receptacles that have two switches in one box into a side-by-side pair of switch receptacles....More /> In one bedroom, we have two wall switches side-by-side, one for the light, and one for the ceiling fan. The two replacement switches were marked as to which one went into which receptacle, but he accidentally installed the switch for the light into the receptacle for the fan and vice versa, which I will have to remedy.
In another bedroom, the switch receptacle was reconfigured into a pair of side-by-side switch receptacles, which involved cutting the drywall to make room for the larger receptacle. Unfortunately, he went a little wide on the cut. Even with the wall plate in place, there is visible drywall that I will need to have patched and repainted.
Other than these minor problems, I was pleased with his work. The switches he installed are functioning properly.
