"As stated, I used them for a 2014 plan and initially renewed for 2015. Marketplace had everything correct on it's end, but for some unexplained reason, BCBS" cancelled my 2015 plan when the 2014 plans were termed (3 weeks LATER than the end of 2014!).Again the Marketplace had the correct information and even re-sent the termination information when I contacted them about the fact that 2014 plan was still listed active on BCBS side. So BCBS termed not only my 2014 plan late, they termed my 2015 plan even though I was paid up through end of month! So now I have NO insurance until the Feb1. My advice - since they apparently are so overwhelmed with enrollees that they can not keep up with updates, choose someone else. It is a shame, as the product itself was very good.

Bottom line is contractual provisions were not met and it was apparent they were trying to avoid meeting their contractual agreement with both the patient and medicare. This is a fraudulent company and I will be pursuing legal actions not limited up to and including a

It is difficult ot deal with this company unless you are happy with only doing this on line. We are covered and I am glad about that. $500/month for people who are not given health insurance as a benefit is not a good deal. We only have it in case of major health issues. I hope we don't run into that problem.

has me worried. I signed up in December and haven’t gotten a bill. I called them in January, they said I would get a bill shortly and when I got the bill I called them, tried to pay it over the phone. I was on hold for thirty seven minutes and then they hung up on me. So I went to a different number and they said that the billing department wasn’t even taking phone calls and their mail boxes are full, and said they would call me later. I called back two days later, I paid with a credit card, got a confirmation number on Friday, the ninth, I gave them a couple days to get me into system, I called Tuesday, the 13th of this week to try to find out information about how to get prescription with this plan because I have no information. Their prescription company that they use is Catamaran and they said that the account wasn’t active yet and asked me to call back in two days. I called back the insurance company saying I have the confirmation number but I am not in the system yet, and if they could add me in the system so I could get the prescription and they said give it two days. The very next day, the health insurance company called me and said you need to pay, you haven’t paid yet and we are going to drop me. I said I have the confirmation number, they said that will not help them at all and said they must have printed it out before you paid. I was like why would they print it out before it was due and give it you on 13th when I paid on the 9th. It didn’t make sense so my confidence in them is dwindling quickly and I feel like it was a beaten switch. I went with them because when I looked them up on the government healthcare site, I specifically looked at every plan and if they had my primary care physician and they had her listed. When I went to confirm that after I paid, they said, oh she is not in our plan but you can pick someone else. So the whole reason I went with them was a sham.

We’ve been using them for around 6 months. Setting up the insurance was easy and was done by phone and mail. The woman on the phone was very personable and took the time to explain everything. She was great and couldn’t have done any better.

thru the marketplace which started 1/1/2015. On the marketplace we were promised things like chiropractic, counseling etc without details provided. They sent ID cards, Hippa Statement and one page on how to access their web page. They never sent a health insurance policy which is a legal contract with specifics. They are a "value" company and from my current experience with them it is about them getting the value. I see very little value for me at their high prices. I talked to 2 out of 3 people who didn't want to help me get a policy or spend time helping me with my questions. They didn't really want to help answer my questions and told me they didn't want to help me. But I perservered. The first person said that if I just spent "some time on their web site I could look around on their web site for the answers".I told her that that isn't appropriate to sell me a health plan without getting the plan. I didn't want to put the pieces together. The last person was very helpful with discrepancies I couldn't figure out. (1),We had a PPO plan where we only pay the copayment and could go in-network and out-network. Why did it also say $6,000 individual/$12,000 family deductible responsibility? Found out that if we go in-network only have to pay copayment. Otherwise all out-network costs goes toward $6K and $12K before we can use the policy.(2). They advertise on TV it can be used in all 50 states. We have a suitcase on our ID card. But the 50 states is about visiting out of state. The 21 county coverage in our state is considered in-network. If you moved or stay out of state too long then you're going to have out-network acccumulation toward $6K and $12k. And then you should cancel this insurance I was told.(3). They never mentioned the huge list of preauthorization services where you get maybe 5-6 visits approved then need to reapproved again. All those little extras like chiropractor, counseling advertised in the marketplace look good on paper but they need approval and quess what ? You will be paying

a much higher amount than paying cash directly to the providers. Also the providers usually offer discounts for cash. Paying $40 directly to my chiropractor is cheaper without preauthorization than $70 with preauthorization because they considered it a specialist service. All those services are classified at their specialist rate. (4) The prescription coverage was OK not exciting. I still pay $20 each for some drugs. So basically since the congress and

were so busy trying to get obamacare defeated the insurance companies are selling high cost insurance where no one can really get any benefit from it. My husband did an excell sheet on every plan offered in the marketplace(63 of them) for 2 weeks and by the time you reach the $6K or $12K

you will be making these insurance companies profit and value for them but little value for us, the public. You will never get to use your insurance at the $6K/$12K deductible unless there is a catastrophic event. (5) Make sure to get them to send you a healthcare policy because it is easy to make mistakes when it comes to in-network and out-network costs. They say they will punish you if you use out-network providers and set it up like a mine field because you don't have a policy to help you know what you are doing ahead of time. Their web page isn't that useful when you are trying not to waste your money. I haven't written too many reviews on Angie's list but I am hoping that
