Arlington Window Installers Reviews
My husband and I decided to purchase windows for the entire house. We have a custom home with a lot of very long large windows. The back the house is almost all windows. It's beautiful when the sun shines in, but was bad for energy efficiency. After we signed the contract the windows were measures within a few days and were installed about 4-5 weeks later. The installers were very nice guys and it looked like they knew what they were doing. It took them 2 days to install the windows.
I was so happy with the way the guys installed the windows that I bought them some coffee on their second day as a way to say thank you and warm them up because they were working in the cold. They showed me how to use the window and operate all the moving parts. One of the windows that needed replacing, was letting some water into the house and you could tell by the water stains. They notified me of the problem and made sure to put some extra silicone in place so water could no longer enter. They also found that the reason water was getting into my old window was because of a gutter that was not secured properly. These installers went above and beyond and fixed my gutter for me by securing it in place and using silicone to help the water flow properly. I'm no longer worried about future water damage in that spot because I know that the problem was fixed. Thank you installers!
I have small windows in my back door and I haven't replaced them yet, but if you hold your hand on the door glass and hold your other hand on the new window glass you can feel the difference. I've also noticed that I can feel the heat coming into the house from my back door and not the windows. These windows seem to be doing their job.
I am very happy with my windows. They are beautiful and they operate smoothly. I can tell that I'm also saving money because my energy bills are lower. I waited a few months to write this review because I wanted to make sure the windows were working and nothing strange happened after installation. I'm looking for problems with these windows and I can't find any. They are simply awesome. Thank you!
Quote was accepted and installation was scheduled for about 8 weeks out. This best fit with our schedule.
Installation then was delayed as the replacement door had not been ordered due to an internal issue.
Windows were installed in the meantime. Installation went extremely well. The crew was very professional, took care of preparation and clean up and worked very quickly. What I really liked when they were finished is that the windows looked like they had always been there.
The door came a couple of weeks later and installation commenced. All seemed to go well until the storm door was being installed and it would not close properly. The door frame from the entry door was too narrow for the storm door. Came to realize that the entry door installed was the incorrect size from what was originally agreed upon at the time the contract was finalized. Phone calls were made and discussions quickly took place. Bottom line was that another new door would have to be ordered and installed. The incorrect door was left in place until that time. It functioned adequately but the storm door would not. It was a minor inconvenience until the situation could be rectified.
while we never wish to have issues when making home improvements, they do happen. I judge a contractor by how they live up to their commitment and deal with the issues. I'm very satisfied how
Partly due to some requirements analyzing was the reason why work did not started until
Since completion, the breezeway served as a transversing room with storage on the sides. The main room it leads to is serving in capacity as a small workshop, mainly dealing with wood. The brightness of the lights was very adequate and so is the power delivery from the existing breaker.
About a year has passed and I can feel confident I can continue to have the workshop still in service and use. Pictures that are attached showed accumulated additional work of my own accord - window treatments, painting, floor sealing, roof replacement due to hail, but the structure is most definitely sound so far. The lifetime structural warranty solidifies in my mind the soundness of the expanded structure.
He was very professional in all dealings and despite the slow start (mainly from my follow through), work was done in a relatively timely manner. Communication throughout was solid, accommodating slight changes along the way.
Great contractor to work with.

maybe the job as I outlined it wasn't big enough.
I believe the local company may be a franchise of doing a good job of it. .
I have since contracted with another company that has received the highest ratings on Angie's List.
They followed up in less than 24 hours after I sent my inquiry.
