and his crew arrived on time daily and worked diligently to have the project done on time. I LOVE my new view. :)
- Barbara P.

The 1st day of installation ... -- there was a problem with the locking mechanism on several of the windows & one (1) set of sliding glass doors. The installers were able to adjust the window locks ... but not the sliding glass door lock. --- one front window came with a missing guide for the screen track. The installers "temporarily" used a "black" track because they didn't have a "white" one on hand. --- caulking around the windows and doors had gaps/spaces in it (hit and miss) in several areas around the outside and inside of the windows and doors. Each of the above situations were pointed out to the lead installer and he communicated with
. At the end of the 1st day ... the crew did a good job of cleaning up the area and hauled off the old glass and materials. The 2nd day of installation ... only the lead installer returned to ... --- install the last 2 sliding door sets. --- complete the caulking around the last 2 windows. --- fill in the space below a double set of sliding doors with concrete to support the thresholds. Prior to his departure ... I walked around the outside and inside of the house with him and pointed out that ... --- there was a 2" wide exposed unpainted area running vertically down one side of each set of sliding glass doors. He said that it was because the old sliding glass doors were larger than the new ones so they aligned the new doors flush on one side of the frame and that left the other side with a gap between the doors and the molding but the doors was properly and securely installed within the frame. --- he had not corrected the gaps in the caulking of the windows. He said he would schedule one of the other installers to return later to complete that part of the work. --- he had only put the concrete under one of the sliding glass door thresholds. He said that only one side needed the reinforcement and that the other side would be OK as it was. I contacted
and he dropped by the next day. We discussed the issues re: both days of the installation. He stated that he had ordered the missing "white" track for the front screen ... and ... that he would have the best caulking installer return within a few days.

A week later ... the lead installer returned ... but he ... --- only fixed the outside caulking because he didn't have the correct materials to correct the inside caulking. --- he didn't have the replacement "white" screen track. --- he didn't have the correct tools to fix the sliding glass door lock. I notified
that evening and he assured me that he would get these issues resolved as soon as the part arrived.

Two weeks later ...
mailed me ... --- a brochure re: the lifetime warranty ... but ... not warranty papers. --- a receipt and form for my income tax energy credit ... but ... there was a math error on the receipt. The $ amount for materials + the $ amount for labor didn't equal the total $ amount I paid ... a difference of $400.00.

I contacted
by phone and left a message for him requesting a corrected receipt.
hasn't responded to phone calls or emails since mid-March 2013. During the winter (
2013) ... weather stripping (insulation) on one of the sliding glass doors separated from the door frame. I contacted the manufacture, Alside (Associated Materials) who sent me a warranty claim form re: the warranty related issues (the sliding glass door lock not latching; the missing screen track on the front "white" window; and the separating weather stripping) ... but ... the caulking issue and the exposed frame around the sliding glass doors are installation problems and are not covered by their warranty. Their customer service personnel were very helpful ... and ... when all was said and done ... they honored their warranty obligation.

I WOULD recommend the Alside product (windows & doors).

I WOULD NOT recommend purchasing it from

Very knowledgable, well trained installers, very nice to work with. Did everything the way they said they would. Love our new windows. The electric bill has gone down a lot.

We were very pleased with the installation process, and we love the finished window product. The follow-up service was excellent, as well.

They were awesome - if I didn't know where the cracks were I would never be able to see the repair. The color was such a perfect match! They were very punctual and so friendly - I would definitely use their services again.

came to our house in April to measure and give us a quote on a full kitchen remodel, master bath remodel, and new flooring. We also had a few other projects we needed to get done as well. The first time he was very informative and understanding of our time frame and told me he needed to get a cabinet guy over to do final measurements before he could quote us. Well a week and half goes by and I don't hear from him. I call and he says he still needs the cabinet guy to come out and measure, so we schedule something for that Sunday.

comes over and they spend another 2 hours doing the measurements and talking to my wife about the project. After they left we were looking forward to his proposal because he seemed to know his stuff and was very understanding of our budget and time. A week later, I get a call from
Arlington Window Installers Provider Name Locked
stating that our house is too far for their project and that he is going to turn down the job. This didn't sit well with us because we are very busy people and he could have told us from the start that our house was too far from him instead of wasting our time. If someone wants to use Galaxy Builders in the future, make sure that they are not too far from your house before you go wasting your time too.

We obtained an estimate from Mr.
Arlington Window Installers Provider Name Locked
to replace a large custom window. We found him to be prompt, honest, and diligent. We chose his company for the replacement, and they came on time and finished the installation promptly and in a professional manner. We will definitely use this company for our window needs in the future!

The transaction was smooth with everyone doing what was agreed. This project was done in two phases. Four of the windows where replaced in November 2013 and the remaining done March 2014. The price quote given by the salesman was good for one year. The installers are contract, the ones used for my installation where professional, did a good job and cleaned up after they where done. One of the new windows sashes needs to be replaced as the bottom portion of the frame is not quite level, all other windows are fine. They said they will order a new one which should arrive in about one week. They said it will be no charge as these windows come with a lifetime unlimited warranty, which, the salesman makes quite clear in the beginning. The price was with the $100.00 off per window Angies List coupon and comperable with the industry. (I receive quotes from two other companies) The only thing I would advise to be aware of is they do not give much notice when they will be sending someone out to either measure or install which could be an issue if you have a full or busy schedule. Overall the transaction went well.

It went very well. The order was taken and an approximate date of installation was given. The installers showed up and installed six windows and a few days later installed the door. The work was done well, and the clean up was done properly.

I saw
Arlington Window Installers Provider Name Locked
at the TX fair and I really liked their display. I agreed to have a free estimate at my house. The salesman did a wonderful presentation when he talked about the quality of the window and the installation process. I really wanted energy efficient windows that also had safety features built into to it. That is what sold me. I like knowing that someone needs to use a sledge hammer to break into these windows and someone can't just pry them open. I also love energy efficiency. Our house was built in the 90's and just leaked energy like crazy.
My husband and I decided to purchase windows for the entire house. We have a custom home with a lot of very long large windows. The back the house is almost all windows. It's beautiful when the sun shines in, but was bad for energy efficiency. After we signed the contract the windows were measures within a few days and were installed about 4-5 weeks later. The installers were very nice guys and it looked like they knew what they were doing. It took them 2 days to install the windows.
I was so happy with the way the guys installed the windows that I bought them some coffee on their second day as a way to say thank you and warm them up because they were working in the cold. They showed me how to use the window and operate all the moving parts. One of the windows that needed replacing, was letting some water into the house and you could tell by the water stains. They notified me of the problem and made sure to put some extra silicone in place so water could no longer enter. They also found that the reason water was getting into my old window was because of a gutter that was not secured properly. These installers went above and beyond and fixed my gutter for me by securing it in place and using silicone to help the water flow properly. I'm no longer worried about future water damage in that spot because I know that the problem was fixed. Thank you installers!
I have small windows in my back door and I haven't replaced them yet, but if you hold your hand on the door glass and hold your other hand on the new window glass you can feel the difference. I've also noticed that I can feel the heat coming into the house from my back door and not the windows. These windows seem to be doing their job.
I am very happy with my windows. They are beautiful and they operate smoothly. I can tell that I'm also saving money because my energy bills are lower. I waited a few months to write this review because I wanted to make sure the windows were working and nothing strange happened after installation. I'm looking for problems with these windows and I can't find any. They are simply awesome. Thank you!
