Foundation Repair Reviews in Arlington

I had 3 foundation repair companies come out and give me estimates. The reason I chose
was because I felt like their product was more superior than the pressed piling method. I got an estimate in January of 2013 then waited because I had hoped my house would settle or somehow fix itself (one can only hope). They came back out in December 2013 took more measurements and I went ahead with scheduling my install date.
The first day they dug out the holes, poured the concrete, etc. I was not able to take off from work that day but by the time I got home everything was cleaned up. No mess. A few weeks later
(I believe that was his name) came out with his crew and leveled the house. He was very nice and answered all my questions including questions I had from phase 1 of the install. Everything was raised 1" and the expansion joint closed up quite a bit. Before they leveled it I was able to put my thumb in the joint after they leveled I had a normal expansion gap. They cleaned everything up and left - no mess left behind.
A few things:
1) New cracks appeared inside my house after leveling (around my window by the kitchen and the wall in my living room)
2) The brick/mortar on the other side of my house (Left side) has moved and some of the bricks have are now loose.
3) The expansion joint (on the right side of the house) towards the top has now opened up some more. After it was leveled the entire expansion joint gap was even all the way up and down
4) Some of the foundation gaps inside my garage closed up but not all of them
5) Fracture cracks on the outside of my foundation were closed a little but but they are still visible. I knew this would happen so no biggie - It's a cosmetic issue now.
I waited a while to post this because I know the house would have to settle a bit. I am concerned about the left side of my house I don't know if this was caused by the leveling. All the 3 foundation companies had told me that my left side was fine - no work was needed there.
For now I'm going to let it sit awhile and if things continue to move I will call
to come out and take a look.
Everyone I talked to was extremely nice and they answered all my questions. I have pictures too I will try to get them all together so I can upload them.
Hope this review helps!!

the inspector was very polite and explained in great detail the process from beginning to end so when I had the work done there were no suprises. The crew was on time and very professional. When the job was done
and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up and they left the house and yard in better shape than when they arrived! I was very pleased with the quality of work provided by Power

Foundation Repair reviews in Arlington

We signed the contract in mid October and waited 2 months for them to come and do the work. December 18th was the soonest they could come out. They had a lot of contracts and work to get done before the end of 2013. They said it would take 2-1/2 days. We did not hear a word from them for those two months. The day before they were to show up, a woman who, I thought, was "snippy" called from the office and wanted to know how I planned to pay the down payment of $1,000. I told her that I didn't even know if they were coming out the next day, as scheduled, because no one had called since we set up an appointment in October. She volunteered to check to see if they were still coming out because she had just gotten the paperwork that morning. Odd that she had just gotten the paperwork since the contract had been signed for 2 months. I gave her my payment information when I found out they had planned to show up the next day, as scheduled. I think they should have called me several days before letting me know that they were going to keep the appointment they made or if it had been changed due to back work not being finished. They did come as scheduled. It was 1 week before Christmas.
As far as the actual work of digging holes, placing the piers and cleaning up after themselves, I would recommend them to anyone. They did a very nice job. The crew did not speak English nor were they allowed to talk to me. Only the supervisor answered questions. He was very nice and answered my questions.
One of the men who was jackhammering our front porch broke the handle off of our glass door. I could not prove he did it and he wasn't going to admit to it but the handle fell off in my hand when I walked through the door. The guy just stood there looking at me. That handle was perfect before he started the

hammering. We spent over $60.00 getting the replacement handle for the door. They were not making the original handle anymore. We had to order it from the company. The

hammer was very close to that door and there was nothing wrong with that handle until that day. We could not use the door until it was fixed.
They were late coming the next day (11:30 a.m.) due to a trailer problem. They finished putting all the dirt back in total darkness because they had another job the next day. It was approaching the end of the year. I was told the jobs needed to be finished and the money collected. The crew each had a small head light on their head to see. We gave them all the light we had. The side of the house was the most dark. Some of our bushes were not put back in the right place. It was so dark along the side of the house that they pulled the wires to our phone, internet connection and our TV cable connection loose and we lost all service. The dirt, in the dark, had gotten too heavy and damaged the wiring that had been stretched until it came out of the box when they were replacing the dirt in the dark.. The cable company had to come out the next day and rewire the whole set-up . The supervisor said they had 2 days to get this job done. We were not charged by the cable company for repairs. It cost us more than we expected in replacement costs for their carelessness.

came to check our house foundation. He was professional and honest and helped us to understand were is the problem. He spent good time to measure the house and evaluate its foundation with digital altimeter. After the assessment he shared the finding and recommended 6 concrete pressed piers in the area which we had most problem....More /> At the day of project, the craw came on time and they did a great job from start to end and the cleanup was very good. Further, we had visitor from their office to check the job and take photos. The plumbing test also went well and the gentleman who came for test was professional and polite.

When they were out they only did the front I asked him about doing the back as well. He informed me I would not need the back done for at least a couple of years so they did not touch the back. Exactly 8 months later I contacted them again because the back/side had sunk; when they came out to look at it I was informed the price had changed (gone up) and there was nothing they could do for me. The guy I was working with contacted his boss and I was told they would not honor the previous price even though I had asked them to do the side portion on their initial visit. I still have the paperwork from the initial visit.

I gave them an A for professionalism for the man who was out not the company as a whole.

First, let me state they were not the only bid I received, but when I got the second bids and noted some different measurements I immediately contacted

, who offered to come back out to take updated measurements. Corrected measurements were secured and date was scheduled. The crew arrived earlier than expected. I was amazed by a couple of things. One how deep they dug the holes to installs the piers. It must have been 6 feet. Two, how fast they completed the work. Overall I would say no more than 5 hours. Third, with exception of the break out holes being filled with cement it would have been hard to tell they did anything, because they put back the landscape pavers where they were. I expected to put them back.

was awesome in keeping me in the loop. Although I did not speak to the crew they definitely seem courteous and respectful to me and my property.
I hope to never to have foundation repair done again, but if I do Integrty will be the first call I will make.

Very professional didn't try to up sale me. Told me my foundation was stable but they could assist in fixing cracks in the brick and priced it accordingly

came to my home and took measurements and told me that I have a drainage problem. He recommended a french drain in the back of my house and 8 piers on the opposite side of my house. He explained how and why this needed to be done . He was very polite and professional. No complaints here, but I have chosen to go with a different company for the repairs needed.

They arrived on time with a crew of approx. 8 workers. They had to remove 4 of my plants but replanted them upon completion. Two of the piers were to be placed under my porch so they had to break through the tile and concrete in order to get to the foundation. They completed the job in one day and cleaned up. The only issue I had was that they had to remove 5 bricks that edged my front walk way and upon completion, I only found 1 brick. I surmised that the other 4 bricks were thrown in to fill up the hole where the piers were dug. No big deal because I had a few extra in the back yard.
I was pleased that they did what they said they would do and were punctual and professional. Two days later, they sent out the independent engineer to approve of the work, which he did. All in all, a good experience.
- Charles K.

The sales man worked with me for two years before I had the work completed. He made two trips to my home to give me estimates and helped me find a plumber to fix the sewer leak discovered under my foundation which was the major cause of damage.

The crew arrived on time everyday and were very professional. The foreman explained each day what they were going to do and completed one early.

Side note:
Two other neighbors had foundation repaired performed and I would say that
Arlington Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
did a much better job than the other two companies.

One home the dirt replaced in the holes dug was insufficient so there are dips around their home.

The second home the garage side of the home was not completely leveled, there are still separation between the bricks and the garage door still has issues when the doors open. Their company also did not fix the mortar between the brick or seal around the windows. When I spoke to them I was told that
Arlington Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
had given them a bid that was $100 higher so they went with the cheaper company.
