"We depend on him for everything. My children have sat him down at the barber shop and he took their call and he reassured us that wasn't" going to die. He's special. The fact and how he said it, it was true. He has a big staff so that you don't have to wait for anybody. I've been seeing him for 15 years. He's always available. He said that was strong enough to survive, I felt like he was going to make it. I'll keep using him while he's still in practice.

"we've been going to him for 17 years. My husband had what they call the 'widowmaker' heart attack, that is where the main artery of the heart closes" down. There is only about 1 in 10 that survive. He died 5 times on me and Dr. Payvandi has been his cardiologist for 17 years. He is awesome. My husband saw him 3 months ago and we are going to see him again the 14th of November because he has some definite health issues coming up here.

Cardiology reviews in Soddy Daisy

I had a really GREAT experience with Dr. C.D. , the surgeon who performed my bypass at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, I guess my expectations were too high for Memphis. My LPN, of Midsouth Family Medicine, had originally set me up an appointment with his suggestion of Dr. ...More , but the scheduler either at or MFM changed that to - possibly because they saw that I had seen him 9 years prior.
Here is the back story. When I first saw 9 years prior, it was under the referral of , an internist. I had been having lightheaded and dizzy spells. had run an ECG on me at the time and he reported back to that I showed to have had 26 heart attacks!!! and decided to put me on statin and blood pressure medications. Several months later, actually feeling worse than I did the day I originally walked in, and after trying 6 different statin/bp combo's that did not lower BP and caused other issues, I decided that my and , were doing nothing more than peddling drugs that created even bigger issues like E.D. and even more lightheaded and dizzy spells.
I, in turn, fired and and went to Dr. . I was under the care of for several years, he had found a BP that did not have bad side effects, I completely dropped statins after reading about studies on their effectiveness and side effects in a Columbia University study, and "coincidentally" the E.D. ended. I also went to a Naturopath and an Acupuncturist for advice on losing weight and controlling my cholesterol, as well as did more study online. I found that there were natural alternatives for the blood pressure medication, like Berry, and maintained my blood pressure for several years with just this product.
In 2013 I worked 1 full time and 2 part time jobs and got up at 5:30 am and worked after work til 9p.m. nightly in my 1/3 acre garden. I had energy, I felt great. One year later I had what I thought was a heart attack. It turned out it was Angina, but during the Heart Cath, Saline Memorial in , AR found out I had 4 blockages. That is when I had surgery. The next day. After my surgery I mentioned to my surgeon what had told me about the 26 heart attacks 8 years earlier. Dr. C.D. said that that was crazy because my heart was very strong and I had NEVER had a heart attack - I just had blockages and Angina. I'm guessing he would know after all the tests they ran on me and he held my heart in his hands.
June 3rd, 2015 - my first appointment after heart surgery to see a cardiologist. I found out that I was going to have another experience with , and I got a little anxious. I told the nurse I was anxious, expecting her to do something to help
calm my anxiety - it didn't happen. After my bad experience with her, comes in, gets 6" from my face and lectured me about why I was fat, accusing me of eating bad foods, drinking alcohol and saying you probably smoke too, and then told me he was going to put me on statin drugs. I told him he didn't know me or my situation - meaning I don't drink, smoke, do drugs and I even eat mostly organic naturally grown food. The only question I got in was "How do you know I need statin's, you haven't even done a cholesterol panel?" His answer was "You are morbidly obese, you have high cholesterol."
I was then billed $311 after insurance for his consult. A consult done so unprofessional that I fired him again and hold responsible for hiring this man.

Competent and knowledgable but abrupt and doesn't like to be questioned about the patient's(customer) care. We deserve to be listened to and have things explained without being interrupted and talked down to...........I spent 30 years in business with a Fortune 50 company and learned that I was there to serve my customer not the other way around........

Dr. even introduced himself in the hallway while the nurse was taking us back. Dr. is amazing with children. He had both my boys giggling several times during the visit, while still being very much the professional. He took an extensive history and was very thorough with the entire visit. Unfortunately ...More he did not get all the paperwork that he needed from the PCP so he took the time to call them while we were still there. He wasn't able to reach anyone, so he followed up after the visit to get it and then called me personally to go over next steps. I have interacted with many, many physicians over the years and Dr. is now one of my absolute favorites.

I just don't think they spend a lot of time and really ask questions. I have a serious issue but nothing extremely serious. I do with a lot of doctors. You don't get a lot of personal attention. I haven't had any issues with the effectiveness of treatment but you never know. If I have stronger reasons, I will stay with them. If I feel ...More I'm not being effective, I will change but right now I don't have any reason to.

After a thorough exam and history, a cardiac echo was ordered. It was easily and conveniently scheduled and performed. After the results were reviewed, I had a follow up appt. I was asked if I would see the Nurse Practitioner and I was very willing because I have always had wonderful experiences with NP's. She was excellent and I would ...More not hesitate to see either Dr. A or the NP again. Will be back in a year.
- Claire L.

My husband had went and seen Dr. about his heart condition. The doctor has a great beside manner, and the wait time is to none. My husband did not want to take the additional medication that the doctor recommended, but after doing so my husband admits that he feels great. We see him at Hackensack Hospital, not at his office.
- Debra K.

I had a heart attack early Monday morning and went into the hospital. I didn't see a docotr until late Monday night. They scheduled me for my surgery on Wednesday morning, and I had a major heart attack an hour before that. I am going to ask them why they waited two full days to do the surgery.

Technically it went very well, very smoothly. Dr. is an excellent cardiologist and surgeon. I trust him completely.
However, unlike previous times he had performed a procedure on me, he did not report back to me or my family after the procedure, and we were all left in the dark as to what he found and how the procedure ...More went, We left that day with puzzlement and a feeling of lack of completeness of the entire procedure.. (There was also poor communication between hospital floors, nursing units, etc at this later hour of the day.)
