"We fully REGRET choosing
. This is the WORST company in terms of any kind of communication. The online schedule has bogus dates that aren't" accurate. Repeated emails and voicemails to the scheduler and GM are not responded to. Several members of the Precision team are rude and are not customer-focused. Items listed in our contract were not completed, and then it's a nightmare trying to get the $$ credited back to us. Our pool was excavated May 9, and we still do not have plaster completed. The ONLY reason we chose
was the price, and we wish we had paid the $10k more to go with another pool company. I do not wish this process on anyone. I have zero confidence that our pool will be completed (and running correctly) by September.

"NO Customer Service whatsoever. I guess when everyone in the Woodlands owns a pool, you don't have to treat your customers right, because the next one is around" the corner. I was having my roof replaced so I called this company and left a message requesting that they push back from Wednesday to Friday, since my pool had a tarp over it. I didn't get a call back the next day, so I called to make sure that all was on track. The woman said yes, they could push back to Friday and I was happy that they were working with me. The pool guy came out on Friday right before 5pm. My husband was home and he said he found the note the pool guy left which said that he broke a piece off of our chlorinator and that we should call the office. So my husband called the office and of course, no answer. He left a message and sent the owner an email. The owner, sent a casual email back saying something to the extent of let me know if you want me to come out on Monday. REALLY!! They broke our equipment and they wanted us to wait until Monday. We spend most of our time in the pool on the weekend and were hosting a pool party the next day. My husband spent two hours buying and fixing the broken equipment. When Monday morning came we didn't hear from the owner following up on the issue. I called on Monday afternoon and the woman aware of the situation and asked her to send someone out since the pool guy didn't vaccuum the pool the day he broke the equipment. They never did, our weekly guy just came out like nothing happened on Wednesday. The next week the pool guy left us a note saying he was sorry, that he did the best he could to clean our pool, but his hand was injured. I don't recommend this company. They don't care about their customers. They never answer the phone. They don't work on the weekends.

5 tips to consider before adding a swimming pool

So you think you're ready to take the plunge and invest in a new pool for your backyard. Be sure to consider these tips before diving in.

5 Secrets Most Pool Service Companies Won't Tell You

All swimming pool companies operate differently. If you need local pool service, check out these secrets some companies don’t want you to know.

My order of preference - first choice a jacuzzi/hot tub repairman (from a jacuzzi/hot tub/sauna distributor), second choice a plumber (many do not work on hot tubs, jacuzzi's and sauna because they cnanot afford to stock parts). An electrician might be able to fix it if it is a connection problem, but such motors are seldom repaired if the problem is internal, just replaced - which would be a jacuzzi repairman/plumber type job.

You will have to find out what your model costs new - looks like they run from about $400 to 1700 depending on size. IF yours is at the lower end, might be just as cheap to replace it, with parts and labor. If not low end, then repair probably works. Typical pricing of components that might have gone out - switch $80, timer/control unit $130, heating element $100 (probably most likely to have failed) - so if only one of these went out, figuring $100-200 labor, probably cheaper to fix it. I would contact your dealer for a better idea.

BTW - here is a Saunatec instruction on maintenance on the heating element and rocks, failure to follow can shorten heating element life, if that is what went out (and probably the simplest to replace) -

I'm sorry to say there aren't many of us on here with adequate experience working on pools, myself included.  My suggestion would be to contact a few local companies specializing in pool renovation and have them give their recommendations and bids for the work, breaking down order of operations so you know what to expect at which stages.  Check Angie's List for referrals in your area and cross check those with the BBB for any unresolved complaints.

Pool And Spa Cleaning reviews in Maryville

We started using
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
3 years ago. The house we bought had the pool already built by another pool company. We have had multiple items in need of replacing. Each time it seemed like an emergency to us, Millennium always managed to work us into their schedule, they send competent staff who are patient (we are fairly new to owning a pool), willing to explain what they're doing and why, and are friendly. They work with us on scheduling, since we have two big black dogs that have access to the pool area, in order for our service request to be completed. We have regularly scheduled cleanings once every two weeks. They vacuum, check the chemicals, pH and have replaced the skimmer baskets when we didn't know we needed new ones. Our pool has been crystal clear all year. In 3 years I have not had a complaint, these guys are great.

Began using
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
about a year ago. Price and quality of service were excellent until four weeks ago when all communication with the owner and his brother (an employee) ceased. Sent several text messages as well as voice mails but no response from anyone. it appears that they have decided to not service my pool and hot tub going forward without any indication as to why. Invoices were always promptly even though billing was not done in a timely manner.

After several attempts with getting other pool companies to help us, we joined Angies' list and contacted
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. They responded within an hour of our call and set up a time to conduct a pressure test within a week. I asked them for advice on if we should consider filling the pool in since we had a diver come and determine it was not a liner leak. They provided council on what to expect from the visit, that the cost to do the test was low enough to provide us information we needed to make a decision. They also reassured us that in most instances, they can pinpoint where the leak is and minimize the work and cost necessary to fix it.
Two gentlemen showed up exactly on time after calling ahead 30 minutes previously just to let us know they were on their way. There was no window to wait! Very professional, nice guys brought in their hand held equipment and started the test. Within just a few minutes they discovered exactly where the leak was. They determined they could fix the leak immediately instead of having to come back AND that they did not have to drill through the pavement. They dug a hole next to the concrete pavement and climbed into it head first and fixed the leak. AMAZING work and so quick.
We were swimming by the next day in clean water and haven't had a problem since. We are happy to have found
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and will without a doubt use them in the future (now that we know all of the services they provide).

First time home-buyer and first time pool owner...moved in a week ago and uncovered a TON of issues, one being what I thought to be a major pool leak. I lost 2 inches of water in two days and had to fill my pool up twice a day...scary stuff, I thought about having to bust through concrete and or pool walls to get it fixed. When
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
came here, he was VERY knowledgeable and uncovered the issues almost immediately. Explained them thoroghly and made me feel VERY comfortable with the issues. NO I didnt have to bust through walls! He fixed two leaks and me being a hands on guy, he showed me how to fix the low priority leak for practically nothing, just a trip to home depot. Great guy, great company...I will continue to use there services. Thank you

I called
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
on the 24th of
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. They returned my call within the same morning and scheduled a service call for Monday, the 27th. Monday, I was called 30 minutes out, to meet
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
at the house.
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and I discussed the problems and he looked over my present pool system. He said that the filter system needed replacing. I also requested repiping around the pump/filter system because of a leak issue and a broken valve. He gave me a quote and was able to replace the filter and pipe system the same day. He called when the job was finished. He also came back on Friday, the 31st, to walk me through the system of valves and filter cleaning. I would highly recommend
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
, the office manager and the company. They were all professional and polite.
I gave a B for price because anything over $500 would have been high for me. No one likes to spend money on pool repair. Ha, ha. I would rather take a vacation.

Bought the "deal" that THEY were advertising on Angieslist. Then when we tried to schedule we had an email saying they weren't taking new clients and to contact angieslist to try and get our money back. They didn't even contact AngiesList themselves - instead make us chase the money. They didn't seem sincere at all and I will never trust a company that advertises, takes your money, and then doesn't perform - its a sign of a very poorly managed company.
I suspect what happened is they really just DID NOT WANT TO HONOR THE DEAL so backed out.
We are temporarily not accepting new clients. This is to ensure we provide the excellent quality of service our existing customers have come to expect. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. You may contact Angie's list for your refund. No need to reply to us on Angie's list. Regards,

It was difficult to get someone to speak to, to make our initial appointment. Calling their number you speak to an "answering service" , which seems like a great idea. But no one calls back. After being told someone will call you later today or tomorrow, and repeatedly calling back, I finally get a phone call from a lady who apologizes and says she was on vacation, and will get the appointment scheduled right away. We met with
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
, the owner, on 6/19/15. We received the estimate in a timely fashion on 6/24/15. However, after reviewing it and finding some things that needed to be clarified, we requested another meeting in person to finalize the contract and give a down payment. That is when this company showed who they really are. The appointment was set, and my husband left work early. He texted
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
before to make sure the meeting was still on but
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
did not respond. When he came home and
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
did not show, we called and got the "apologizing assistant" once again who said, "Oh I am so sorry, I was supposed to let you know
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
couldn't make it, but I was doing my other job of swimming lessons with kids. I work part-time, etc. I will call you tomorrow to reschedule since I am driving now". She never called us back We called several days later after no one had called us, and scheduled another appointment. The day of the 2nd appointment, I called in advance to make sure he would show, and was told he had an emergency at a job and would be working late, and could not make it. Why didn't anyone call us to let us know? We foolishly called again to schedule yet another appointment for the 3rd time, which was for today. Once again I called in the afternoon and this time was told he was on a plane somewhere and could not make it. Again, no one called to let us know he decided to go out of town. Three times in a row of no-show appointments, spread over the course of 4 weeks, and each time he does not show, and NO ONE CALLS TO LET US KNOW? That is: a) disrepectful to not let people know you are canceling, b) inconsiderate to other people's busy lives, c) irresponsible to not attempt to keep your appointments, especially when you canceled 2ce already, d) pompous and arrogant by thinking he is too important to answer his phone or his texts, and that he is far more important than that of his lowly customers. After all these 3 no-show appointments, not once did
Maryville Pool And Spa Cleaners Provider Name Locked
personally call to apologize.
While waiting for his precious appointment, I missed out on using another pool contractor who has taken other jobs and is not available for quite some time. At least the other contractor answers his phone, even though he is so busy.
- Judy S.

They were professional, punctual, stayed within the cost estimate. No surprises and prompt answers when questioned. They stayed totally on schedule which we really appreciated. We didn't hesitate at all with leaving them to finish job.
