"
Tree Service apparently believes that being in business means you don't return calls and provide services as advertised.
" wasted more than a month on my time by not returning multiple calls and when I did speak with him he promised he would get back to me and NEVER DID! The only thing
is expert about is telling stories about not having enough workers and never returning calls. My advice to anyone needing tree service, don't CALL
TREE SERVICE. He will disrespect you as a customer like he did to me and my family. BE FORWARNED. There are plenty of other worthy providers in this
.

"It may seem like small stuff, but relative to other experiences it all adds up. First,
couldn't make our first estimate appointment" due to inclement weather -- and so called to let me know in advance. What a concept! Then he actually shows up on time for the estimate appointment, goes through all the work we want done, and describes exactly how they will go about the work. They show up -- on time again! -- and do exactly the work defined, doing no damage (at least that I've found) to roof or other structure, and leaving no mess behind.

4 Situations Where You Need a Professional Tree Trimmer

Not sure if you should trim your own trees? Sometimes your tree problem is best left to a pro whose is trained in maintenance and other complex issues.

Tree Care and Services

Trees grow slowly so you can't afford to make a mistake by planting them in the wrong location or overlooking something that puts the tree at risk. Tree care is something most homeowners can do on their own, but an expert should be called if a tree is showing signs of disease or if limbs need to be removed.

I would strongly suggest sending your neighbors a certified letter stating that, per your earlier conversation, you consider this tree to be a hazard due to its proximity to the power lines.  Then, when and if something bad does happen, you will have a record of having informed them of it and they won't be able to say "we didn't know."

You say the county has told you it is the neighbor's problem.  Did you contact the local electric company?  They should care very much about the situation.

I would also recommend taking lots of pictures showing the proximity of the tree to the wires and that it is obviously dead.

Dead trees do sometimes stay vertical for a very long time, but it sounds like a tense situation for you.  I understand your desire to not inflame the situation, but it doesn't sound like there is anything more you can do that won't have the potential to do so.  So it becomes your responsibility to look after your own interests in the most reasonable way possible.

For my money, never ? I do a walk-around yearly in the summer (when easy to work on and before the heavy fall winds in our area) and look for trees with dead crowns, losing branches everywhere but at the crown, brown branches (evergreens) or leafless branches, leaning trees, trees with visible rot, trees with major bark loss, trees with seriously damaged or eroded away roots, etc. If none of those symptoms, then I call our 100 or so trees good for the year.

Of course, the bigger the trees and the likelihood of house damageor powerline loss (especially in winter) if there is a major branch or tree fall comes into play also. I trim and cut my own trees when needed regardless of size, so my level of confidence in being able to handle anything comes into it.

If you are worried about one or more trees, call an arborist to check them out - then I would say unless there is evidence of damage - ESPECIALLY leaning trees or major branches not leafing like the rest of the tree - I would not worry having them looked at more frequently than every 10 years or so.

The company called after I asked for a contact via the
Madisonville Tree Services Provider Name Locked
site.
A quote was left for me at home in a few days.
I emailed a signed quote and set up a date within a week.
All went well - they showed up on time and were done in less than an hour!

Purchased a Big Deal for three hours with 3 man crew and arborist.
Madisonville Tree Services Provider Name Locked
came out to look at the scope of work. He estimated around 8 hours so I went ahead and requested 3 more hours knowing that it would be short of his 8 hour estimate. We talked through the parts that were important and he also recommended two (I guess, I thought it was one but ended up being two) structural reinforcing rods for one tree in front. Overall the initial $600 spend turned into $1380. The crew came out and were very professional, friendly and got right to work. This crew was the best part of our experience by far. They completed 6 hours plus a lunch and the areas they worked on look really good. One thing I found strange was the despite

and I talking about leaving a few of the dead stump/trunks for the aesthetics, the crew didn't touch one entire tree that was full of dead leaves. It sticks out and looks really odd. My only was to explain it (since when I spoke to
Madisonville Tree Services Provider Name Locked
's office they basically said "well he told you 8 hours and you only bought 6") is if I went to get a haircut and the stylist was short on time, you wouldn't expect him/her to leave one section of hair totally untouched and manacure the rest. The next sunrise was that when we set aside the time for service, I was never told that the bracing rod would not happen at the same time. I was only told it was not included in the price of the hourly tree service. So as the crew was leaving I asked about the rod and they said

would be by later that day or tomorrow to complete. Since he was to come by, I told the crew I would pay

stating that the rods weren't included (which I was aware of) and that I needed to pay for the crew service. I told her that I was looking to pay cash and that it made sense to pay

when he came by to finish the job. She said he would come by "probably Tuesday but for sure "Wednesday" if I have my days correct. Needless to say he didn't come either day. I actually received a text saying he would be there between specific hours, so we made sure to be home, and no show. We were headed out of town so I let them know... They finally sent a team about 45 minutes before we were scheduled to leave on a trip so they could make sure to get the money. Obviously their scheduling does not take into account any inconvenience on their customers. Anyway, despite the miscommunication, multiple missed appointments, and off putting

For the proposal/estimate, I met with
Madisonville Tree Services Provider Name Locked
who was very professional and very personable. Immediately felt comfortable with him, his recommendations, and the cost estimates. When the crew came to do the work, they were on time and worked tirelessly. They did amazing work in what I thought was a short period of time. I was very pleased with the results! My yard is very clean looking and now has opened up space. I would highly recommend

These guys were great.
Prompt with their estimate which was comparable to others. The arrived on time and did amazing work. The job was quite extensive so they were not able to finish in one day. But hey were able to keep the power outage to a minimum and cleaned up everything. They had to take down 4 huge trees and did so without causing any damage to the surrounding property or plants. The climbers were amazing and the whole group was very professional. If we ever need tree work again we would definitely use them.

Excellent service. Very professional and paid attention to detail. Tree was next to deck and overhung the roof of the house. No damage to deck or house. Will use in future and highly recommend their service. Due to rain had to return and remove the stump. we are very pleased with their promptness, pricing and work.

Excellent. I've been using their services for over 10 years and my mature magnolias and long leaf pines are why I reached out to them in the first place as they were looking a little yellow and sparse. Definitely no longer the case. They are completely healthy. They are a qualified tree service company that really knows their trees and takes care of them. For example. They do not top trees which so many others do.
