"They were really good. They were very punctual, they were very helpful and the insurance covered them really well and I liked the follow up. They were perfect and really good with the" home based care. I would have preferred more consistency on the nurse but the therapist that was consistent and it was fantastic.

"I had someone come out to provide an assessment. Ulga was a very nice care taker. I had spoke with the owner of the company, and I could tell from the beginning he was not very pleasant" nor his assistance
who was very unprofessional. I asked to send somoene last night for dinner, and he sends a care giver by the name P.
. For 20 she could not find my house while giving direceiotns over the phone. When she finally arrives to my home, she too was very rude and unprofessional. She refused to go get dinner for me due to not wanting to drive in the dark and refused to break ice for me due to the intensity of the ice cubes and being too frozen? She continue to complain about the inconvenience of being in my home. After finally speaking with the owner, I heard them discussing me, stating I was "crazy" and due to the care giver was not happy she was getting paid extra for being in my home. Since this morning I have tried to discuss this matter with the owner and he continued to dodge my calls and never return any of my message, speaking with his assistant
, after letting her know she too was unprofessional and rude she decided to d/c the call.

"Recently I had knee replacement surgery and requested going to a skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation and PT.
Rehabilitation Center was a recommended" SNF near my home. I heard some positive comments about
from former patients, so I thought this would be a good choice. It was a terrible experience and after a week, with the approval of my surgeon, I discharged myself and left. Below are some of the more glaring incidents. I was admitted on a Friday afternoon. This type of knee surgery requires careful and continual pain management. Without keeping the pain under control, therapy is not possible. Upon entering
I was given a minimal amount of pain medication. I was aware of the medication regime that my surgeon had ordered; pain medication every 4 hrs and an interim
of pain med PRN between the 4 hr. doses. When I asked for the interim
, I was told “no”. The pain medication on hand was nominal and I was told they were “waiting for my medication from their pharmacy”. After a while I was told they didn’t have my medication and the pharmacy was closed for the weekend. This was confirmed several more times over the weekend. I had to wait till Monday to begin receiving my full doses of pain meds. Not having sufficient and proper medication for an entire weekend was a totally unacceptable situation. The problems with my pain medication continued throughout my stay at Glacier Hills. On Wednesday a PA saw me and she re-ordered my pain meds to the level originally prescribed by my surgeon. However fulfilling the pain medication order was inconsistent during my stay. I had only one physican’s visit during the week I was there.
’ doctor visited me the day after I was admitted and I didn’t see him again. There were 2 other visits by PA’s but only one doctor visit. The lack of physician visits was a deficiency. D. During my week’s stay I had difficulty with responses to the call cord. I was lenient in my requests during the week and only called when I had a need. There were many instances of very delayed response. Other times I was told “I will be back in 20 min.”, “I will be back at 5 PM”, etc. This didn’t happen – numerous requests for help went unanswered. One glaring incident occurred when I rang for help to go to the bathroom around 4:30 am. I rang repeatedly and no one came for 45 min. This is deplorable. Luckily it was not a life-threatening situation. Although there were prompt responses, there were too many slow or non-responses during my week’s stay. In addition, many of the nurses had a very poor attitude and were grumpy and unpleasant. I saw my surgeon on Thurs. and told him of my experiences. He agreed that I should leave and signed the order for my leaving. When I returned from the visit to my surgeon, I told
that I was leaving. The next morning, as they prepared the discharge papers, they informed me that I would be discharged “against doctor’s advice”. I told them I hadn’t seen their doctor for a week and therefore I thought his opinion was invalid and irrelevant. My surgeon had approved my leaving, so I did. As I was preparing to leave, some upper management staff requested a meeting with me – to ask about my reasons for leaving and try to convince me to stay. I outlined all the above issues to them but was firm about leaving that morning. In summary, these situations are all correctable and should be addressed by
immediately. The most glaring is the weekend pharmacy deficiency. That is a crucial issue. My stay at
was unsatisfactory and I would not recommend it to anyone. These situations are all correctable and should be addressed at
immediately. Especially the weekend pharmacy deficiency – this should never have been allowed to happen but it is a weekly situation. My week-long stay at
was very unsatisfactory and I would not recommend it.

I was in desperate need of sleep after sitting w/my dying mother. We called at 4 pm & had a kind, caring nurse by 8 pm. The third night, my mother passed. The nurses both times were caring, professional and attentive. I knew my mom was in good hands!
- Lawrence & Pam H.

They usually come out about four times a year. We have not been disappointed yet. If we have a problem they have a nurse on duty who will reference us to a nurse practitioner or doctor to take care of the problem. We just pick up the phone and call them. Their receptionist is very friendly, helpful and cooperative. They make sure we get the person we need to handle our problem, whether it is reordering prescriptions that they patient is taking. They are right there for us. They cover a wider area, but typically they get someone here the same day of our phone call. I can't get that kind of service from the doctor I go to. Anybody I get on the phone is usually cooperative and helpful. They are outgoing as far as providing the care we need when we explain what is going on.
- Helen & WILLIAM E.

They seem to be punctual, very nice and they have been providing very good service for us. The employees that they have, when they come in you get the feeling that they are interested in the patients, being here and taking care of you. We have been very pleased with them.
- Helen & WILLIAM E.

They are very good. They are the kind of people that we get on first name terms. They are very friendly, and we look forward to seeing them. They are prompt. They tell you they will be there from 10 to 10:30, and they are there. They are assigned to call, and they work on their schedules. They are very good at what they do, and they order any supplies that I need at the house, so they don't have to carry the different things. They bill me once a month, sometimes it is on a two week basis, and sometimes on a monthly basis.
