Window Replacement Reviews in Knoxville

If you get no further (I
’t blame you-it is long) here are the bullet points: 1) This was the first Job of this type with this material for
Windows and Siding (Confirmed by the distributor) which is probably why he never had a tech call us…he didn’t have one located to subcontract until weeks after taking our money (Confirmed by the installer). 2) He appears to be a one man show. There was talk of his “Crew” and “Install technician” we never spoke to anyone else and the person who finally arrived was a subcontractor. 3) He advertises a warranty that no one can beat… however the installer picks up the liability and any re- dos on labor and the manufacturer warranty covers the materials (provided they are installed by a certified installer) so I’m not sure what he’s warrantying? 4) Terrible communications skills.
left voicemails that sounded like we were old drinking buddies-nothing inappropriate other than being just loose and sloppy. His lack of listening skills lead to instructing the installer to over measure by 400 sq. feet. 5) Dismissing our complaints/concerns. When asked to attend to concerns promptly or to come to the jobsite to address issues he said he was out of town or would simply say he didn't see the need to "hold our hand" and do all the "warm fuzzy" stuff.. 6) The manufacturer of this product does not list him as an authorized dealer for Everlast Polymeric Cladding in the state of TN. If you are interested in this product, I would recommend an authorized dealer or contact a certified installer through the local distributor. Anyone looking for a solid commitment from a quality contractor should ask if it is
Windows and Siding that could potentially be under new ownership between signing a contract and actually getting the work done. We found out after this event that Mr.
King is advertising on (his campaign website)- the keys and complete ownership of a " ..debt free and highly rated home improvement company..." as part of his "American Dream" give away. This seems to partly explain his disinterest in providing quality service. We contacted
for a quote on siding through Angies list based on the numerous positive reviews.
King (who identified himself as the owner) responded in a fairly timely manner and came out to meet with my wife and I regarding the job, showed us some samples from which we chose the Everlast Polymeric Cladding which was exactly what we were looking for.
wrote a number on one of his brochures, we asked for a quote and he said he would provide a full written quote IF we gave a deposit. We knew better but we figured it would be ok with so many good reviews on Angies list (all A’s across the board…every single job), We really would rather gotten a quote from someone else but when asked,
stated that he was the only company in the area that was an exclusive dealer for this product (we found out later this was not the case). We got the quote, it was higher than the others and we expected that because we felt the materials were superior.
really didn’t know the product or anything about the installation process but agreed to put us with his install technician that would do the job to get our questions answered and concerns addressed. We spoke and texted with
a few times over the next month to get in touch with his installer,
always promised to get us the contact info but we never heard from anyone ( more red flags). Out of nowhere,
notified us @11:34 am on a Thursday that all of the materials would be delivered that day and his installer would start the next day! No notice….. and we were out of town, when we informed him of this he did not seem bothered by it at all, but we were as we had not yet had any contact with the installer concerning our questions. His frivolous and unprofessional response to my wife’s text in answer to a request that our driveway not be blocked was the final straw. I phoned him to tell him I didn’t appreciate his sarcastic comments and careless attitude and told him the only reason we would see this job through is because we liked the product so much and at this he suggested we were not a good fit and he offered to give all of our money back and take his material in return which I promptly agreed to, by this time all trust and confidence in this man and his company had been broken as far as we were concerned. We told him when he delivered the refund, he could have the material. He sent the installer out the next day with a different offer,
would call the invoice paid for materials with our deposit and we would go direct with the subcontractor at cost for the install….as long as we
’t post a negative review on Angies list. We told him we would be interested in going direct on the install(Installer was a nice guy and answered all of our questions-he had never even met Mr.
before and had never worked for him-he was apparently referred by the local distributor of Everlast) but we didn’t think we could agree to the other request especially before the whole thing was settled so please cancel the contract as he had already been paid for the materials (and then some).
called later and took back his offer yelling about there wasn’t enough “gratitude” in my voice for the money he saved us and that “here in the south, this is how we do things”. We reminded him he gave us 2 offers, to either pick up the materials upon the refund of our monies or to close the contract as he would not have anything to do with the install and the materials were already paid for and either offer was acceptable and he should let us know ASAP as to how we would proceed. The last we have heard from
King is a letter dated June 30, 2014 , insisting on enforcing his original contract in full (including labor that he has not performed) stating such ridiculous reasons as our "belligerent attitude" and "racists remarks made on our part"???
was not polite to deal with, has wasted enough of our time, taken monies for services he could not perform at the time of the deposit and performed numerous breaches of contract and trust. We will be turning this matter over to professional counsel unless
resolves amicably.

Very professional from start to finish. Love the new windows. Sales and install personnel all did as they said; called and came on date and time previously arranged; very clean jobs. Two different jobs over a period of 3 years; part of the windows had to be replaced due to hail damage. I also included some to the other windows. First job was in 2011; the second was in 2013 when I replaced some more of the old windows. I have a few more to replace and will use

Window Replacement reviews in Knoxville

Leaking windows on home built in 1999. Referred to me by my previous builder. Came out and measured fall of 2013. After numerous phone calls and e-mails came back this February with estimate. Re measured with the thought the new windows would be back in around 3 weeks. More phone calls and emails. I called

3 to cancel order. Actually spoke to salesman. It was apparent whole event had been forgotten The one advantage to the delay is others have since leaked and I would rather do them all at once. No money changed hands. I'm going to look at Renewal by

This company and its people are impeccable. When they first came out they installed a test window to see how I'd like it before we signed a contract for the first of three waves of installations. They also gave me several references, one of whom I visited with and who gave

The windows are custom made in their factory and fit very well. Eventually I replaced every window in the house through

This was the second installation done by
Knoxville Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and both times received excellent service and a quality product. Can't say enough about the installation team who are very professional and demonstrated a high level of attention to detail and desire/ability to get the best possible fit. This is no small feat in our 60 plus year old home. They were on time and consulted me at critical points so that there were no surprises. B grade on price: I would have liked to have paid less for the high quality doors which I chose. They are quality and the guys made them fit like a glove. Still....

They were very well organized, very efficient, came when they said they would, and did an excellent job. The price was less than half that of another well-regarded glass store. I could not have been happier with their work.

I had my windows installed on June 5 & 6 and am really happy with the results. Throughout the process of getting the quote, the measuring for the windows and the installation of the windows, everyone I dealt with from
Knoxville Window Installers Provider Name Locked
Windows and Doors knew what they were doing.
I worked with
Knoxville Window Installers Provider Name Locked
to get the quote, He listened to what I was wanting to do and gave me some tips on ways I could possibly save money. He did not try to pressure me into buying what I didn't ask for and gave me a straight quote. He gave me information about a way to get TVA to pick up some of the cost. Overall, the price was a good deal based on other quotes I obtained.

, who did the final measurements and scheduled the instation date, worked with me and was able to accomocate my work schedule and still get the windows installed as quickly as possible.
The team who did the installation were curteous and polite. They cleaned as they went and did a great job on the windows.
The windows look great. both inside and outside. I've had a number of neighbors, friends, and family comment on how good they look. And an added bonus is that they seemed to have helped sound proof my house. I no longer hear my neighbor's HVAC kick on and off.
Overall, I'm happy I went with
