Driver took over 1.5 hours to unload and position POD. Driver left mats at my house and had to return to get them. Driver was not very friendly. Seemed to be very tired and irritable. Did not provide any paperwork for me to sign confirming receipt of POD or instructions, etc. Driver had no real information about the POD except there it is. Good product and very clever unloading and positioning equipment but the customer service side leaves much to be desired in this instance at least. Driver would not call dispatcher or office for information as well. Strange experience but I Love the POD and am using it well.

Everything went wonderfully. They were very responsive to our initial request and provided a competitive price. We set up delivery, got the rental agreement signed online (very convenient by the way) and paid. They even called a day before the scheduled delivery and offered to deliver it a day early (at no extra cost) because they had some extra time.
We were moving to a new house and calling to get the container moved was very easy and done within a reasonable amount of time. And pickup of the empty container was just as easy as everything else.
The part that moved me to write the review, however, was surrounding an errant charge on my credit card. As soon as I noticed it, I double checked the 'fine print' on our agreement and it still looked to be incorrect. So, I called

and left a voicemail about my concern and he called back within 5 minutes. He took a quick second to look up our charges and discovered that it was indeed an incorrect charge and refunded it on the spot. No hassle, no argument.
When you're dealing with a vendor for the first time and there's a billing issue, you really just have no clue how it is going to turn out. But I will say that

don't MOVE IN HERE! The apartment complex will only return your calls if its about them getting their rent. They half a** fix everything. The walls are cracked. The carpets are disgusting and have mold under them. We went over them four times with a carpet shampooer and were still pulling gross dirt out on the fourth try. The internet drops every 30 seconds. Worst apartment management I have ever done business with.

Prior to the move day the owner of the company came out and evaluated the house. At that time we agreed upon the move schedule and how the process would happen.

is very easy to work with and is very accommodating to the movers needs and wants. The team showed up on agreed day and time, very professional and courteous. They brought a full team in to do the packing of everything, They were very careful to ensure that all items were taken care so as not to damage or break anything. Once at the new house they unloaded and placed all items exactly as needed. They even moved some other items that were already in the house for me too. We were very happy with the work and will use this company again.

2 guys came to my house to pack up a POD since i was moving. the POD was only 16x7x7 and I really did not think my stuff would fit into the POD but these 2 young men, wrapped and packed everything so carefully and so efficiently that the POD held about 95% of my 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that i had lived in for almost 30 years. the rest fit into a 5 x 5 little storage unit. i was totally amazed at how efficiently, carefully, they worked. they did it in 4 hours and took no breaks. The owner also called several times to make sure everything was going to my satisfaction. Other companies could learn something from this company's customer service. I would hire them again (and plan to do so shortly to unpack my POD at my new place) in a heart beat.

Mom and Dad contracted with Mayflower Moving who subcontracted the job to Dodge. we assumed there might be some damage to some items-- there usually is during a move--but this was terrible. This company proceeded to damage several pieces of furniture and destroyed $100's worth of antiques. One antique rocking chair was worth $300, they set it down carelessly and snapped off one of the rails. They didn't say a word, but put it in the back corner of the basement where we found it several days later. It was around 100 to 110 years old, in excellent antique condition, but it's worth $Zero now. In one box of glassware every single item utterly crushed to smithereens. One of the leaves in the dining room table was broken. The side snapped off and missing. If we had the piece it might be repairable. On an antique kitchen table, big scratches across the top. A china cabinet was set down on it's side (the finished side that shows when hung on the wall) on the rough concrete of the basement floor. Many other items chipped and scratched.
We decided to use a moving company because we (erroneously) believed they would do a better job than we would ourselves. We thought they'd have all the right boxes and straps and cushions and EXPERTISE to carefully load the trucks and move items without damaging them. Other movers offered to box up specialty items. We assumed this company would do likewise. This company even asked that WE move all the items up the steps from the basement of the house we were moving out from.
I do not, will not ever recommend them. I will not ever use them again.
Oh, BTW when we complained about all the damage, with a list of values, they graciously sent us a check for $53.

The approximate cost was for the entire move. I am writing this review because this PODS location made the deliveries. They did an outstanding job. The office staff returned calls and the delivery works called before drop offs and pick ups.

I needed a truck to haul plywood sheets laying flat. I called and asked if they had any trucks available and was told they had a 5x8 and 8x12 vehicle available. When my daughter and I got there, all they had was trailers. I said I had just called and was told they had two trucks available. One of the guys said he had spoken to me and indicated only trailers. Apparently there had been a mis-communication, though I had clearly said "trucks". I'd have let it go at that when my daughter calmly recommended they be more clear on the phone, she had heard the conversation. Immediately, both of the employees behind the desk started yelling at both of us how they had been clear and making comments about our understanding. I told them both they shouldn't start yelling at their customers which seemed to incite them both even further.

could have handled this easily by saying "Sorry for the misunderstanding" and letting us know when a truck would be available. Apparently business is so good at

to confirm the appointment and he said yes, I'm sending 3 guys for $175 / hr - I told him that's not what we have agreed to and his response was ' i'm telling you this now' after going back and for he said, fine i'm sending the two guys for $135.
On the day of the move, 3 guys showed up - I called

and after again going back and forth with the price - he said, we can do it for $160 / hr. I said fine - let's do this. (Is not like i can cancel the appointment - i was ready to move out from my apt and couldn't take another day off to plan the move)
So the move went fine -- the three guys were very courtoues and took care of all my furniture. When we finished the move 3 hours later i asked the crew supervisor what was the total (my estimate based on the rate i agreed with Keving was $160 x 3 = $480). I was fine with that price - i even planned on tipping the crew. The crew supervisor comes to me with an invoice for $750 and says,

mentoins that there is a charge of $160 for transport and and extra $60 for gas (something that was obviously included on the $160 price) - Again , the back and forth goes on - I'm telling

I can't pay that much money - that's not what we agreed on and he replies 'OK - how much do you have -- how much can you pay' i responded... All i have is $500 that's what i budgeted for the move (3 hrs - 2 guys).. he said fine I'll take the $500
Overall, very dissatisfafied with how i was treated - The whole experience felt like a shakedown - I will never use this company again.

I made a reservation for my June 28, 2014, move with ABS on May 16, 2014. Three days before my move, I was contacted by ABS and informed that they would need to reschedule my move to June 29, 2014 because they had overbooked. They did not admit that this was the reason why until I agreed to change the date of the move. Since they contacted me 3 days before the move, I didn't really have a choice. I never did get a straight answer as to why my date was being changed since I had my reservation a month and a half earlier.
I had contracted with ABS for 4 movers, and only 3 came to our house. The foreman told me he would give us a discount because there were on;y three men there. The movers did a pretty good job; they hustled and worked very hard. They did break/damage several items, but they were not solid wood. My husband paid for the move at the end of the day, and they did not give us a discount. I contacted the office the next day and the did refund a portion of what we paid based on the three man crew.
