"About 3 weeks ago while driving in
County, we had a brief, but very intimate, encounter with a deer. It ended poorly.. Our 2010 Nissan Versa was badly injured" (don't ask about the deer!): the entire front grille was gone, the hood was newly configured into an A-frame, the headlights were destroyed. Our insurance agent recommended
to us, and so we met with
. After a thorough inspection, it was determined that in addition to the obvious cosmetic issues, the radiator and AC had also suffered some injuries. Her initial estimate for time to repair the car was 2 weeks. Actuality: 2 weeks. Her initial estimate for cost to repair: $4000. Actuality: 6 cents cheaper than she estimated. Throughout the entire time, she called us about every 5 days to give a status report stating current progress and what was going to happen next. Given that we didn't want to be in the situation we were in to start with, she made it as painless as possible. We were extremely impressed with the efficiency and got no unpleasant surprises regarding costs, etc. The repaired car looked showroom new when we picked it up. New paint matched perfectly. We highly recommend

"One provider wanted to charge me $1500, but this location did the same job for much less. They did a great job. It was about 1150 cheaper than the first estimate.

"We have driven by this shop for nearly 15 years, but never needed any auto body work until now. After last winter, we noticed that the lower passenger door frame of our 2005 Sebring" convertible had developed a rust spot and the metal was corroded - approximately 6 inches of the full width of the metal body sheathing was damaged or lost. In addition, a careless driver in a parking lot creased the right rear quarter panel and about 4 inches of corrosion was beginning. In other anonymous parking lot incidents over the years, dings and scrapes appeared in that quarter panel. At the end of September, we stopped by the shop and met the owner, Raffi
, who was genuinely friendly with a neighborly manner. After we explained why we had stopped in, we all went out to look at the car. He explained that certainly he could perform the necessary repairs, but that with corrosion he could not give us a guarantee that it would never return. Having dealt with rusty cars in our youth, this was perfectly reasonable. We returned to his office and explained that we would be out of town for a few weeks. We made arrangements to drop off the car and the keys (into a drop box) on the Sunday following our return home. He indicated that he would have it completed by the following Wednesday. If we agreed to pay cash, he could give us a lower price - and we agreed. Sure enough, we had a message on our answering machine on Wednesday while we were at work. We called this morning morning and he agreed to stay at the shop after closing time to allow us time to get to the shop, pay the bill, and pick up the car. We both left work a bit early and traffic was clear so we arrived about 15 minutes before his usual closing time. We inspected the car - which he had just washed - and it was perfect. The bill was paid, he parked the car by the shop door and locked it, and we came by later tonight to pick up the car (I do not drive so my wife commandeered a neighbor). That's the whole story. Friendly, professional, and highly skilled local small businessman - he was raised in this shop which was owned by his father. Pictures in the office document family history and some of the fabulous work this shop has produced. I recommend

My truck looked brand new where the work was done. The paint matched perfectly which is hard to do with metal flake paint.

Sliver Star Collision was recommended by my Insurance Co. (from Texas) to fix my wife's vehicle a couple of years ago. She is an absolute stickler for perfection and

. He gave me a written estimate for my insurance company, told me it would take three days to fix, and to call him when I wanted to make the appointment. My insurance company approved the repairs,

made the appointment, said I will call you in three days, and refused to take any money upfront.
Three days later, He called and I came to get my suburban. It was perfect, it was beautiful, and it was clean Not only was my vehicle clean, but the entire shop is almost dust free.
I've dealt with

.Took car for an estimate in early May. Vehicle was driveable and other than obvious hood and front end body work, did not exhibit any other issues when driving it. As this was not through insurance, asked for an estimate that would keep costs low while ensuring everything was fixed properly. Stressed that car needed to be reliable for teenage son and had been mint before fender bender: rear-ended truck with steel bumper - low speed, no airbag deployed - Grand Am sustained all the damage with hood being pushed back. Said was open to after

parts, but again, stressed car needed to be fully functional. Was reassured of quality repair while working with us to keep costs down. Given an estimate of $2747.88 on May 16th with repair to be complete by May 23. Shop advised on May 21st problem with hood and would need extra time. On May 23rd shop advised repairs expected to be complete Thursday, May 29th. I asked about alignment and brakes (which they had not recommended to look at but others had). Said they would complete body repair first and then look at it. Had difficulty getting a response from person had been dealing with. Spoke with owner on May 28th who said that person was out sick and he thought repair could be done following week. Advised repair was completed

2nd. Went to look and was shocked to see headlamp seals hanging out in some places and pinched in others, hood misaligned and ill fitting in appearance with significant gap in front, and poor paint job. Overall looked very rushed and haphazard. Shop kept vehicle until

5th to try and adjust fit. I offered to pay for manufacturer OEM hood to ensure fit, but shop said they'd work with the parts they had. On June 5th, looked like a better fit for hood and headlamps. Paid for vehicle. Regrettably, had many issues after the repair - electrical problems, air conditioning repeatedly cutting out, dashboard gauges zeroing out while driving, Service Engine light coming on and staying on, and most concerning, the headlamps were so dim and aimed so low on the ground, the car could not be driven at night. Took it back to them a couple of times with no satisfactory resolution. Took to other garages to re-aim headlamps and try to resolve electrical issues. Advised there was likely a grounding wire issue that would need to be fixed by the autobody shop. Headlamps could not be re-aligned; was told it would require bodywork to fix. Took to another Angies List recommended collision shop who provided ~$500 estimate to fix the headlamps. Was told the headlamps were very cheap and dim. Every time son drove the car, called with issues. Was now a completely unreliable car that had worked well and drove fine even after the front end was pushed in. Had purchased it with just over 62,000 miles less than a year earlier. Ended up selling the car to an autobody mechanic for 1/3 of what we paid for it and after additional repairs to fix this $2800 repair. In addition to those expenses, had to pay for son to have transportation to school and back (since he is not bussed), occasional car rental, and had significant challenges to coordinate rides since I work full time. Was not offered a loaner vehicle. Was offered a ride once at the end of the day.

My Jeep paint had been retired in 2009 after a hail storm. After three years the pint finish on the hood started to oxidize and the business I used for those repairs had gone out of business. I found Macco on Angie's list and decided to have the painting repairs done there. I was very pleased with the service that I received. The employees were very courteous, pleasant, and helpful in providing the estimates and explaining the processes that would be used. Along with the hood paint issues, I also had a large scrape on the front bumper and some rusting starting on the back lift gate. My Jeep looked wonderful when the work was completed! In addition, I was given a nice discount for using Angie's list. I would absolutely use this business again and would recommend them to my family, friends, and neighbors.
