"Staff was very friendly. Office is under construction, but it was still nice and cant wait to see what it looks like after construction is completed. Large waiting" room, large selection of glasses, Dr. Neighborhouse is AWESOME!!!! Only issue I had both times i have been there is a long wait. Not sure if they schedule too many ppl at a time, or if it is just because they don't allow enough time for each person to be seen which puts off the next person, but this was a little bothersome. They do have a lot of employees there, but still long wait time. Doesnt affect my interest in staying with them though, I really like this Dr. and facility. A+++

-michael M.

"They're really good. I like
a lot. The staff is good also. The glasses I need are complicated -- multi-focus lenses. They got me into" this type of glasses which work well for me. I typically wait less than 5 minutes to be seen when I arrive.

-Mike R.

Optometry reviews in Crossville

I needed a quick appointment due to travel and realizing I was out of contacts. The courteous office staff fit me in and validated my insurance during the initial phone call. I had the first appointment at 9 and when I showed up there was only one person in the office. The others strolled in at 9:15 so if you are in a hurry don't get the first appointment. Once everyone was there moving around it was a great environment, very knowledgable and helpful staff. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a new provider.
- Thomas B.

Their location, price and the courtesy of the entire staff prompt me to continue being a patient. They are covered by my insurance. It's not typically hard to get an appointment during the week there.

I like the optometrist there. I like that they send me a prescheduled appointment via mail and follow up with a phone call. The staff is very personable there and there have not been issues with scheduling appointments.

I ended up going back to the eye doctor that I used that does not take my insurance because I like her. I've
Crossville Optometrists Provider Name Locked
her twice. She's one of the most thorough eye doctors I've ever seen. I go to her because I took care of one of her kids over in
Crossville Optometrists Provider Name Locked
, I used to work there. I like her both as a person and as an eye doctor. I like her practices. I use them eve if I have to pay out of pocket. Even though I have to pay out of pocket it's still reasonably affordable.

This was my third time going into the clinic and had intended on buying the glasses I had tried on previously. I was originally quoted a price, when I went back in a few weeks later to purchase the glasses I was told a higher price. The front end girls were very rude and condescending when explaining why my insurance coverage was not available. Because I was still confused and upset I emailed through the website asking for clarification and stating what had happened. I was sent a reply stating there was "confusion" and told my discount through insurance would be available as of January, 2015.
Upon returning last Friday, January 16th I was told that I could not get the discount and went I explained how frustrating that was the girl helping me shrugged her shoulders. I told her I was going else where to purchase the glasses because I felt this was wrong and they should honor the discount under these circumstances. She told me she could "write down the style" of glasses for me to go purchase elsewhere. No apology.
I then decided to email the same woman back who told me I would be given the discount and explained the situation. She apologized and made excuses for why there was still "confusion". Point being they should have offered me the discount because o their errors but it's obvious that was never considered. There are MANY choices as consumers these days and we should spend our money where it matters and with companies that deserve it. I do not recommend
Crossville Optometrists Provider Name Locked
and hope you will think twice about trusting vision care with them. I feel the customer service there is poor and how they handle errors is bad business.
- matthew J.

I have been seeing the doctor for about 4 years. She came recommended by a co-worker. She is very personable, nice and kind. If I have an emergency she is happy to fit me in. I had an infection from contacts that she addressed as quickly as possible. She recently relocated and I really like her new office. She has a very nice and kind staff. I have had no issues scheduling a normal visit.
- Alice F.

I saw
Crossville Optometrists Provider Name Locked
and the visit was excellent. He explained each test every step of the way and actually was interested in underlying medical issues that could have caused issues with eyes. I have not picked up my new glasses yet but am sure that the service from both
Crossville Optometrists Provider Name Locked
and Jil as well as the front office staff will be just the same - excellent and professional.
- Bonnie D.

She is extremely thorough and nice. She will explain the results of all the tests that are run and recommends glasses based upon need as opposed to cost. She is a top-knotch provider.
