Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Reviews

"Started off well. Made an appointment, went in and met with a sales associate. The associate was helpful in selecting an air tub; and, she identified all the in-wall hardware needed for the faucets and shower. A day or so later the bid was ready and emailed. We emailed a couple of questions back and forth before ordering and paying for the tub, toilet and faucets. The order comes in over the next 10 days or so. All good thus far.
Meanwhile, we decide on light fixtures and place that order. The lights are due to come in within a week, except for 1 which was backordered. This was the last communication we would have from the sales associate.
About a week later, the contractor was ready to schedule the electrician and plumber. I sent the sales associate an email requesting the light fixtures be delivered. Strangely, the associate didn't reply. A couple days go by. The contractor is ready to put the tub in -- but there is no overflow-drain among all the plumbing parts. It was left off the bid and wasn't ordered. Oversights happen; but, the associate was suppose to take care of getting all the in-wall hardware and just missed this. The contractor can't proceed on the tub without the part.
To order the drain, I call
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's and ask for the associate. She's not available, with another customer. I leave a message requesting a call back. No returned call. I wait 4 hours before calling back. Same story, she's not available. I explain my contractor is idle and I need to get a part; it's urgent she call me please. No return call that day.
When you call
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's, a receptionist answers. They ask for your name before directing your call. Next day, I call again and get the same "she's not available". I request to speak with a manager. The person on the phone asks if there's a problem; I explain my unreturned calls and sense of urgency for this part. The person identifies herself as an assistant to the sales associate. She says she will follow up and get right back to me. 4 or 5 hours later she calls back and says the part will have to be ordered. I give the credit card number and ask for it to be expedited. This is on a Thursday.
End of day Monday, no part delivered to the house. My contractor is wanting to finish. I give him the

contact information. He begins calling. He experiences slow responses as well. Eventually, he finds out the part didn't actually get ordered. A breakdown between
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and the supplier -- unsure who's at fault. Part is reordered to be delivered the next Monday. It didn't show up.
I go online to find a general manager name. I found two names. I call
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's and ask for the first name. He's at a customer site. I ask for the next name. He's there but with a customer. I request he call me back. He did! I explained the saga and my confusion over my sales associate's silence. He goes offline to investigate. When he calls back, he has the tracking number for the drain (on the delivery truck will be at the house by 8:00 PM); and, he says the lights are in and will have them delivered that afternoon. Great!
Bathroom gets finished. I have a plumbing part which wasn't used. So, I take it to
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's showroom to return. Greeted by the receptionist, I give my name, indicate I have return and provide my sales associate's name. The receptionist calls the associate's desk, informs that I am here with a return and asks if she wants to do it. The associate says to have another person take care of it. We spent $6000 with this person and she won't come out to see me.

did a great job!
1. Very responsive from the initial call. Within a day or two, they were out to review our bathroom and discuss our ideas. Very knowledgable insights to help us make decisions. They stayed in contact to give us updates on the estimate -- refreshing proactive communications.
2. We picked out our tile (happen to be from Lowes). We sent the item numbers to
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to include in the estimate.
3. They also put us in contact with ProStone for granite vanity tops -- very good prices.
4. Once we agreed on the estimate, they were able to start within a week.
5. Very nice and courteous workers. And, they are very hard working too. Once they start, they want to finish.
6. Quality is very good; the tile looks fantastic. Our new shower is beautiful -- we love it!

"I asked
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
for an estimate after two higher estimates from other providers. I found them here on Angie's List, should have started there. Their price was 25% less than my first estimate and 20% less than my second estimate. Not only was their price considerably better, the granite I selected with them was far more attractive than the other estimates which were based on a very
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
basic granite. They were great to work with, eager to please. The work was done in a timely manner. The stone was cut perfectly for a what I thought was a fairly complex job. I have a breakfast bar top that I wanted extended wider than before. The brackets they used for that were far less expensive than both previous estimates ($20 each vs. $110) Two of the tops were angled cuts that were done perfectly. The installers paid allot of attention to detail in their finishing work. Could not be more happier with the results. Would highly recommend.

"The project began in mid April of this year (2012) and the sunroom floor, fireplace mantel, and two bathrooms are now complete, making the project from start to this point approximately 3 weeks. We are so pleased with the outcome, and the process, and with Mr
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's work in particular, that we have expanded the project to include the 2 remaining bathrooms and one bedroom. Twice my husband wanted a couple of minor things changed, and Mr.
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was quick and efficient to comply and bring the project to a happy conclusion! We give Mr.

and

Tile Co our highest recommendation. Efficient, trustworthy, gifted artistically. Wonderful experience and only wish that we could include pictures to show just how great this job was!

"All three jobs went as planned. The masterbath remodel was the biggest job. He coordinated all the contractors - electrical, plumbing, etc.

I rate all three jobs an 'A'"

"They were very competent with the carpentry and drywall. Their tile subcontractor was very good, but he needed to work during the evening, which was bothersome. The electrical guy seemed OK, but there was no extensive electrical work. I fired his plumber and hired an outside company. Vibrant insisted on doing most of the purchasing, which was fine with me. They grossly overestimated the amount of tile required. As it was a special order, it was non-returnable. This matter, which I estimate to be an over charge of $750 - $1000, is still in dispute. Vibrant is not returning calls."

"They were two days late due to manufacturer delays on the special order. Following that, they showed up on time, were very neat and thoroughly professional. They did a beautiful job."

"Great job, everything looks great, fresh and new. they have great advice and patience with getting everything done right and finished properly. Not the cheapest job, but you can be sure it will be finished and how you want it to be done. Honest, trustworthy workers you can feel secure working in your home."

"Not a good experience.
I saw their ad in the Commercial Appeal and saw they had an A+ BBB rating(beware! not always accurate)
They got most of the money up front with only 25% at most done. I really got schooled.
NEVER AGAIN.
Note: (this is what I have learned) MOST reputable home improvement people will not ask for anything but a deposit to pay for supplies and paint before finishing the work.
The total price was $4000.00. They had agreed to work $800 out with me doing a website for them. They wanted ($1200) down to start. The time frame was ridiculously delayed but I was being nice and worked with them because I thought they were on the "up and up" and that they could get most done when we went on vacation.. Then, before my kids and I went on vacation for a week in
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, they wanted another $1200-Even though they had really not done even 1/3 of the work, I paid them in good faith expecting MOST of it to be done when we got back,-the painting was supposed to be finished as well as the outside wood replacement and painting, shower floor replacement etc. when we got back. They worked 1-1 1/2 days and then THEY went on vacation for 10 days (the day we came back home).
We came back to hardly ANYTHING done plus the biggest mess imaginable as well as piles of wood and nails thrown up in my driveway. Not fun!
After their vacation, 10 days later (after I got back from mine), they called and said they were coming to finish but needed another $800.The remaining balance ($800) I was going to be in trade by doing them the nice website. I had already produced a new logo for them and secured their domain name.
Their website was in process but we do good work and it takes time. They kept acting like they weren't getting paid when I had already paid them at least $1000 over the work they had done-They said they had finished the all of work outside-another lie. They said they had tried to come work several days but it was not convenient with me. PURE BS. The main day in question was the 4th of
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and my son was having a party here! Plus one of few days off for us-Not a good day to have work done in the house.
Anyway- I said NO-I will not pay you the final $800 until the work is done. (this was on top of my website price)-They said they had no website yet, etc etc...just more BS I didn't need to deal with so I fired them.
I had to pay another company the same amount to finish the work and they didn't even
do some of it from the original contract from
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
.
But they were EXCELLENT and worked daily for a week until it was finished! what a relief!
I lost at least $1000 on the deal. I would NOT recommend AHI and learned ALOT if I ever have to hire someone for painting or home improvement jobs in the future.
All I can say is BEWARE! And don't take a BBB rating for face value.

"Not negotiable on price in the beginning, I asked a lot of question and posed possible problems. Each question generated an increase in the installed price. I was hoping to avoid major change orders after start of construction. There were no change orders after signing the contract except for items we added. We added an air tub after signing the contract and were offered a showroom demo combination air jacuzzi for less than the air only tub. We were a little disappointed in quality of cabinets after selecting a higher than standard grade cabinet. We selected very plain cabinets with no trim, no fancy edges something very plain and easy to clean. We were disappointed in matching of wood grain and changes in light and dark colors in the same door panel. This is not
Collierville Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
fault but for plain fronts, we expected a little better. The quality of work was excellent. If there was any question about how something was to be finished or completed, we were always given the option and work was completed to our satisfaction. They covered our hardwood floors with moving blankets during the construction. They cleaned up every night, hauled off demo materials and scraps, and made an effort to minimize dust in the rest of the house. It is impossible to keep Sheetrock dust out of the rest of the house so we expected some cleanup. Overall, we are extremely satisfied and would use

again.
