Bought at Costco, got a $200 card. The

like a rug on cost. They do not give you anything written. Service is OK. But the cost is much more than was quoted.

The service was far too intermittent. The customer service was seriously lacking. The major problem is that we finally decided to cancel the service in May. We paid thru June.

told me they were going to pick up their equipment. We still have the equipment at our front door, waiting to be picked up. A couple of weeks ago, we got notice from a collection agency that Northland had turned over the cost of equipment to them on our account, thus damaging a perfect credit rating on our part.
Northland needs to pay the charges they turned over, then after we are cleared of this damage to our credit and we receive confirmation from the collection agency that it is no longer on our record, then Northland can come and pick up their equipment. Otherwise, we will be

the company.
I would never recommend Northland for any service.

It took 8 days for them to trouble shoot the install. They sent a new installer every day. Then the last guy said "that's the pit falls of being the first one in a new community". Finally a month later they replaced the wire that the supervisor said they needed to do and corrected the problem, or so they say. Its been now two months and they have been here almost 20 times, cant get channels that are supposed to be standard, the internet is slow and I pay for the fastest one. The system goes down at start of a small storm and takes forever to re=boot. Needless to say the residents are voting them out of the community.

I had to talk with several customer service agents before

sent a rep to our house, however they were all friendly and helpful. The service rep who came to our house quickly realized we needed a new router and replaced it. Our service improved immediately and dramatically after that.

It's a monopoly. Since they are the only cable provider, residents have no choice but to pay their prices, which go up every year. We aslo have to rent one of their boxes to control our television. Internet service isn't the best. I constantly have to repair the internet connection on my computer since
Brownsville Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
doesn't have enough towers to handle my neighborhood, and I repeatedly get kicked off from online.

It took to long he left a mess and I have naked wires hooked to my phone and modem. Not sure if this is the norm for it but he seemed to think it was ok.. I have thought about changing to dish or other carrier they are all so blasted high and what they offer in channels is crazy. So many ways to over charge for a few channels that long ago were banded together and sold as one package. Would be nice to be able to dump all the sports channels and pick something you want not what they want to sell you

He was later than expected, and I still have similar issues with Internet access.
I am a network specialist, and have been for more than 25 years. I work for a local government agency, and maintain a network of over 2000 nodes, so I do know how to setup a network.
Due to the fact that
Brownsville Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
does not properly maintain their equipment (they only replace it when it fails) their service stalls out many times.

Nice service man. Very helpful and did not rush but did everything needed and then even hooked uo my daughters new TV with the cable wires.

Showed up on time. Tested the system. Listened to my symptoms. Replaced the modem and performance tested the equipment. Must have been the problem because it has worked well ever since.
