I felt like I was a prime piece of meat being watched by a pack of hyenas as soon as I got out of my car. I didn’t thought that I was going to make it out there alive. Thank God that I did though.

I salesman approach me immediately as I shut my car door. I told the salesman that I was looking the Parts Depart so I can get a part for my poor car that was slowly dying on me. I guess I shouldn’t have told him that, because that was the hint “
! I can sell this poor girl a car.”

I was open to looking around to see if there was anything that I might like, and so
gave me a tour of what they have at the
Moana lot. I told him I wanted a manual, speed, and convertible, but he ended up showing me an automatic, 4 door Honda Civic. He gave me the opposite of everything that I wanted. I always give people benefit of the doubts and has always willing to hear what others have to say or suggest, but I should have never given
this one
because it backfired on me. After looking over the Honda Civic, I was sat down to talk to the
’s manager and he started talking numbers and trade ins, etc… was WAY too overwhelming for me then….I should have listen to my guts and run for the door.

They asked me for my car key so they can check it out for the trade in after they had told me that the final and total price for the Honda Civic would be a little under 11K (I should have kept the people that
(the manager) had promised to give me the car for that price). My real final cost was 5k more than what was original offered by

Then they asked me for a credit card and driver’s license, which wasn’t given back to me until I signed the documents with the loan officer after 5 hours of saying that the automatic Honda Civic is not what I want for a car. I kept telling myself to get out, but they had my ID, credit card, and car key…. I should have asked for them back, but why didn’t I ask for them back is something that I will never forgive myself. However, it is a mistake that I will never make again. You live and learn.

I actually took the car back to the dealership the very next day, because I really hated how it drives and feel.
’t get me wrong, Honda is a good car, but it’s not what I wanted and the service that I got the night before disgusted and frustrated me even more. The only thing that
can offer me when I told him I really hated the car and I would like to return it, is that I could trade it in at the
value for another car on their lot.
… what would you do? Yea, I kept the darn thing and paid it off and sold it within 6 months.

In a side conversation with
after my purchase, he told me that he gets a lot of satisfaction making a sale to people who
’t want to make a purchase at their dealership. It’s like what he lives for. How foolish did I feel hearing that…I felt like I got a BIG BOLD “Sucker!” sign stamped on my face then.

Here were a few things that I was disgusted with, during the process:
1. Felt like I was a piece of meat.
2. They pulled my credit report without my permission and knowledge.
3. Allowing the salesman to take my personal car key, ID, and credit card as hostage.
4. I made a decision after 5 hours of being broken down by the salesmen.
5. Got a dirty Honda Civic, I even told them that it was dirty. They didn’t seem to care because I had signed the loan papers already.
6. Allowing people to take advantage of my kindness and weakness.

Here is what I got out of my sad experience:
1. Never go alone when ‘thinking’ of buying a car.
2. Listen my gut.
3. NEVER to go back to

I am not telling you to not buy from them. I am writing this to give you my experience and mistakes so if you do go to buy a car from them….take my experiences along with you as a reference and make your own judgment.

i have horrible credit. when i walked in the door i was greeted in a friendly manner. they worked out my down payment and allowed me to make payments every two weeks. it was my first experience buying a car from a lot and the owner and all the staff were always so helpful. i locked my keys in my car one day and they sent a locksmith to my house to get in the car and even make me an extra copy. my car was paid off sept 2011 and i would use them again in the future. i recommend them to friends constantly. Such a good experienced compared to horror stories i have heard about first time buyers at big car lots.

A very pleasurable experience. We arrived at the lot and took some time to review the vehicles. The representative then came out to see if we had any questions. We asked some questions and the rep explained the process of a purchase for an as is vehicle and for a vehicle with options. Prices were provided and some negotiating transpired. All in all we were happy with the experience. The order was placed and a delivery date was provided.

Upon arriving at the dealership on our scheduled appointment time, we had to wait about 20 minutes to get the keys to the vehicle that we wanted to drive. At that time, we were "handed off" to another sales person for the test drive. When returning to the dealership, we decided to see what they could do for us. We were sat in an office with the second sales person. We expected "the car sales game" to be played. They make an offer, we counter, so on and so forth. We were unable to come to a mutual deal that we all were comfortable with. But we were going to follow up the next day to see if anything had changed. Our sales person walked us over to the Sales Manager tower to introduce us to the sales manager that was working on our deal. However, HE WAS TOO BUSY TO STEP AWAY FROM HIS COMPUTER TO SHAKE OUR HANDS. At this point we decided that this was not a dealership that we would do business with.
