Hello, this is Kyle K from the Member Care Department.

I apologize for my delay. We encourage healthcare providers to list the insurances they accept when creating their Angie’s List profile. At this time however, many providers have not completed this section, or the information wasn't available when Angie's List created their listing.

I encourage you to visit your insurance provider's website, as many offer search tools to find local healthcare providers. You can then cross-reference these with Angie's List. We’re happy to help look up these individual providers for you, too.

I am sorry I could not answer your question directly, but I hope this information was helpful.

Please let me know if there's any other assistance or info I can provide. You can respond in line to this Q&A thread by submitting a new answer. You can also reach us at memberservices@angieslist.com or toll-free at 1-866-783-2980 to speak with a live representative. Well, I am not reviewing the dentists themselves, because we never got out of the waiting room. I called to make the appointment, gave them my insurance info (name of company as well as all numbers on the card...so there should have been no question about that and I was told they do accept it). I carried my kicking and crying child in, checked in and was told they don't take our insurance (and they don't know who we talked to, but sorry). Because I had gone through so much to get my child there, despite being annoyed by this, I said I would pay out of pocket and was told the cost to basically get him back, teeth cleaned, and hope that he would realize it's not that bad. We waited for 30 minutes (again with a high anxiety child), then someone else came in to tell us, sorry, what they told me when I came in was wrong, and that I would actually have to have x-rays done and pay for that as well (obviously significantly higher cost than quoted 30 minutes previously)...because they HAVE to do x-rays for a new patient. Since I knew there was no way my child was going to allow them to get x-rays, and because I was so irritated at everything that happened, we left. I thought a pediatric dentist would be able to calm my child down and show them a dentist visit wasn't that bad...instead, he had a horrible morning and in the end won and got to leave because of super poor business. So disappointed.

My son's first experience with a dentist was a wonderful one! We happened to go on a Wednesday, which turned out to be "Wacky Wednesday" and everyone was dressed crazy. My son liked it and it made the atmosphere less intimidating. The lobby is child themed with a big fish tank, tv and even XBOX to keep the kids busy while waiting. The dental assistant was very nice and calm with my son, who wasn't quite sure what to think about everything and was very uneasy. Instead of forcing him into a full cleaning and x-rays, they used a regular toothbrush to clean and apply the fluoride, etc. Then the dentist checked his teeth and since all was okay, we didn't force the issue of x-rays this time around. Next time he'll have a more thorough cleaning, but for his first time, I am really happy that they made it relaxed and easy-going. Of course loading him up with stickers, a plastic zip sealed toothbrush travel bag (with brush, sand timer, toothpaste, and floss), and a balloon helped!

Before the procedure to fill the cavity, Dr.
North Myrtle Beach Pediatric Dentists Provider Name Locked
ordered a follow-up x-

because it had been several months since the cavity was discovered (I was shown the original xray during the first appointment and the appointment for the filling). Turns out, this small cavity had undergone something called "re-mineralization." My tooth matter had closed up the cavity! He told me it wasn't common, but not rare either. I wasn't charged for anything - the appointment, the local (they administered it at the time the x-

way taken), or the x-

. He showed them both to me and it was amazing. Few dentists would admit they didn't need to do a procedure after spending money to confirm it and not share the cost with the patient.

Everything is inviting and welcoming for the children from the moment you step in the door. TV is in the waiting room with kids movies and children's books line the walls with beautiful murals of famous children's characters (Frozen of course lol). Staff is friendly and the doctor is truly knowledgeable about how to make kids comfortable and at ease. My little one was hardly uncomfortable throughout 3 fillings which is pretty amazing. Very impressed with how they interact with her and offered her a stuffed

During my checkup, Dr
North Myrtle Beach Pediatric Dentists Provider Name Locked
suggested I have a benign legion removed from my lip.
He said it was a quick procedure, so I said yes.
It was quick, but when I went to check out they wanted me to pay $250 for it!!!
He never told me in advance that it would cost that much.
My dental insurance would not pay for it, and the office would not work with me to reduce the price.
I called several times, and the office staff just wanted their money.
The office billing staff are very unhelpful, and unfriendly.
I paid all but $30 of it, and tried to get my health insurance to pay for it.
While I was waiting, they added a $10 late payment fee, and a $.45 finance charge.
don't EVER GO HERE!!!
If you have nothing wrong, and just need regular checkups, they are fine.
But all they want is your money, and they are horrible people to work with.
Please stop others form going there!!!.

Awesome. I was so afraid for my 6 year old. His first dentist basically told us my son should be sedated and only performed 1 filling. Dr.
North Myrtle Beach Pediatric Dentists Provider Name Locked
assured me he would try to perform a regular treatment without sedation. I insisted on doing 1 of 3 teeth needed bc my son had failed another time with dr. Xxxx. He was so patient with my son when he got finicky. He stopped and assured my son he was there to help him and to sit still and he would be fine. Shortly after I was amazed, he did all 3 teeth at once. I looked him in the eye and told him.... I drove from Tampa for you. Thank you for being patient with him. He nearly had me crying bc my heart was so happy that he has a positive soul.
