"We were given a list of names from the Company that we bought our granite from but had no success in getting a single response from any of them. Unbelievable. I" searched Angie's List and found
; I got one of the best in the Industry when this Company responded! Not only did
respond, but I was advised when he could come out to quote/review the job and when he would be able to actually perform the work.
's work schedule was a few weeks out (obviously, we aren't the only ones who have been working with him) due to his current job commitments but as it has turned out, well worth the wait! THIS COMPANY WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN! The work was done in a timely fashion, exceeded our expectations, and left us extremely satisfied with our decision to contract with
. Here is what I think the majority, if not all of us, hope for when working with a contractor.
was professional and hard working and is just an honest guy trying to make a small business work for his Family and him. It is a great feeling when we felt we were working with somebody who is out there just trying to make a good old fashioned, hard working, living. I would recommend you grab this guy before any more word gets out or you won't get the

"I met 4 vendors to get quotes. Most were solo shops and my experience is they throw prices and terminology quite loosely. You know when they come in there will" be extra charges ever step of the way. I also got and reviewed many promotions for similar work. Most were less expensive then
, but to be
for the others I got the sense I would get what I paid for and would be upsold along the way.
impressed me with the professional process and explanations. How do I rate them.. A+ Professionalism - they just handled themselves very professionally. You feel like you are in the hands of real experts. I had
and he team member and they are great if you get them. Job- For 90% of the job it could not be better. It looks amazing and like new. No more living with the really bad water damage tiles. Also I get the sense that their work will maintain longer with all the proprietary processes (i did alot of research). The only reason I did not give perfect
across the board is there was a miscommunication that I had with
on 1 of the aspects of the job. I tried my best to be very clear and traded many emails to clarify the job. Then emails get converted to a more verbose 'work orders' that can be interpreted in many ways. In this case I disagree with their interpretation. Punctuality. I gave a B.They certainly worked hard while here. They did however show up late each day by around an hour vs. when they said they would arrive. Responsiveness. Definitely an A. On the job and before and after they responded to all questions. So in summary. I would recommend you use them. They will do an amazing job. Just be sure you really know ahead of time what they are doing and what you are paying for. Maybe even suggest if the job is big enough that
show up at least for the start. I did not which like contributed to the confusion. Their team is great that comes out and really is committed to high quality workmanship.

Whether you want to replace a laminate floor, backsplash, shower stall or countertops, ceramic tile is a durable, easy-to-clean option that can add value to your home. Both ceramic and stone tiles are nearly maintenance free, though grout will need occasional resealing.

Tile flooring

There's nothing classier for a kitchen or bathroom floor than one made of natural tiles. But tile flooring is expensive and does have some disadvantages that homeowners should think about before making a decision on which type of flooring they prefer.

Tile Installation reviews in North Augusta

Every time JT Contracting has done solid work. I wouldn't keep hiring them if they didn't. Prompt response via Angie's List and phone.

I agree that this store has a gorgeous selection of tile and design ideas and options. I felt the staff in the store was very friendly and professional. Particularly Makia Burns was very nice to me and helpful. I went into the store in

a number of times before I ordered the tile. I had searched Home Depot and
North Augusta Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
Tile before finding this store almost accidentally. At those stores I got almost no help in selecting tile. At

, initially a designer worked up a design that would have come to about $55 a square foot. My husband and I decided that this was more than what we wanted to invest in our kitchen and settled on a

subway tile. In getting info about the tile, I was advised that I should pay for delivery as I would not be able to transport the tile and materials in my car. The delivery charge was $88 of the total charge. I realize I am not the biggest

to come along but it turned out, when I finally got the tile, that it was three small boxes, a slightly heavy milk carton sized container, and a bag which I could have fit into the

of my Toyota Corrolla easily. I doubt the total weighed more than an averaged sized man. My husband wants to install the tile himself so we weren't working with a contractor or installer. Makia gave me some stock tile samples to take home on one of my numerous visits. It wasn't possible it seemed to get samples of anything else. We had all our measurements but the designer

TerrelI was helpful in determining the amount of material needed. I finally ordered the tile in mid August and was told that the tile would be no problem to obtain and could be delivered around the beginning of September. By mid September I had heard nothing from the company. I went back to the store and mentioned that I had not received the tile yet. After I left ,

checked and found that some of the tile was back ordered until some time in October and that no one had informed me of this. Since I was hoping to have my husband be able to cut the tile outside in warm weather, this was a big disappointment for me.

offered a texture change without a change in price or a change in

trimming. I agreed to the texture change, the order was resubmitted and I was told to expect the tile in "a week or two". Again I was told it was in stock and not a problem. When I hadn't heard about the delivery two weeks after the order change, I called the delivery person

and the store.
North Augusta Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
was very short and snippy in all of her interactions with me. She did give me more of definitive delivery time. She told me in an email that she would call me on a specific date. When I hadn't heard from her on that date I called her at what I thought might be the end of her business day. She informed me that she was a very busy person. The tile delivery was arranged and finally arrived a full seven weeks after I placed the order. All communication after I paid for the order was initiated by me. I feel this is fairly bad customer service. If I was working with a contractor I would have been quite upset. As it is it, it has disrupted my plans for this fall and I am not sure now when I will get the tile installed. I definitely would look at other options if I was planning a project like this again.

Because true to form, Rui will try to blame me, my house, my walls, whatever...Just be warned......This was a nightmare!!! He seemed nice until he got his part of the money. After that it was like my house was his part-time job. He was splitting his day between my job, the store & some other job. He is very sloppy & seems to enjoy cutting corners. When I brought something to his attention, he got an attitude, maybe because I'm a small. old man & he found it easy to do. I TRULY DO NOT RECOMMEND
North Augusta Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
& Rui to do anything except to stay away from. AND like I said......He will find all kinds of excuses & play the blame game......don't BUY IT, THIS GUY IS NO GOOD. The only reason I didn't give him an F is because even after three weeks of working part-time at my house, he finally finished the job. I'm happy to be rid of him.

Amazing work on an extremely difficult job! I had recently bought a very old house that had a shower with faulty plumbing.
North Augusta Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
had to literally tear out 5-6 floors beneath the existing tile, reconstruct the plumbing, install a shower

, and then re-tile to match the rest of the stone in the shower. The finished product not only looked amazing, but it was finished on time and within the quoted amount (despite being much more difficult than originally anticipated). Extremely professional service and great work all around!

He squeezed me in as my original installer couldn't do job. A little rushed and had to redo a small area but overall a nice job.
- Marcia W.

he showed me what a poor job the contractors did originally, and explained to me what SHOULD HAVE been done.
Then he corrected it, the best he could.
He was even apologetic for the other contractor's work !
- Joan F.

He was great to work with. He did well at consulting on the project to help us with materials and design. He helped us stay on budget and still get what we were looking for.
- Jonathan J.

I cannot say enough good about Art. He installed tile which looks like hardwood in our master bedroom. He came out to bid our job was on time and gave us our bid in a timely fashion. He worked extremely h****** our floor and did more than most installers would do as our house is a concrete slab and he had to fill a crack and level the floor on one side. Our floor looks great, we could not be happier!!
Another aspect we loved about Art is he does his own work, he was on time, did a great job and the pricing was very fair. He did such a great job he is doing our other 2 bedrooms in November with the same tile. Thank you Art for doing a fantastic job!!
