They were very good. They treated the dogs well and their customer service was good. They were thorough and explained everything that was wrong with the dogs. They were very helpful and even provided me with a courtesy visit for next time.

We are new to the state of South
and were out of heartworm medicine for our two dogs. I called the clinic and asked how I could get a prescription for the medicine. They told me both dogs would need to be seen and an exam performed. I asked the price and they said $52.00 per dog, we have a
and a
tzu. The price seemed a little high but I thought we would give them a try because they were close to where we live and I wasn't sure if the price was the norm for South
. On the day of the appointment I took a copy of the dogs records from the clinic we used previously. The wait wasn't too bad. The veterinarian examined both dogs and answered my questions. I asked her to give them both their Distemper/Parvo/Booster and Kennel Cough as they were due for these next month. She was nice and explained the procedure for South
on heartworm medicine. They wanted to do blood work on the dogs before they give them the medicine ( I think it would have been an additional $38.00 per dog). I declined and signed a waiver because they have been on the medicine for awhile and previously had blood work done with our old veterinarian. I asked about the price of cleaning the
's teeth and she quoted me $300. This is quite a bit higher than what we paid previously, it was about double the price. The cost of the heartworm medicine was high, $69.00 for 12 doses. I will probably ask for a prescription and order online next time. They were nice and knowledgeable but I thought their prices were a bit high.

We were very pleased with the way our "furbabies" were handled and cared for. We liked how we were treated, too. Dr.

and his staff are real, caring pros. The facility is new and up-to-date, with an on-site lab. We used to be close to them, but now live on the other side of town - we will NOT change vets.

I called that morning to make the appointment. They were able to squeeze me in that same afternoon. I waited five minutes, and was promptly seen by Dr.

This animal hospital is amazing! I have had pets my whole life, and as far as vets go, Ambassador is the most impressive! There are several reasons that I would recommend them to others:
*They make my puppy feel at ease! Whenever I take

to an appointment, the girls at reception are always excited to see her, call her by name and snuggle with her.

*They follow up! On several occasions, I have called to ask the vet questions. I always get a follow up call, which means so much! And is so rare these days! When we first got
Lexington Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, she ran full blast into this stone wall and hit her head really hard. I called and spoke with the vet, and he advised me on what he thought was best, then followed up with me the next day to check and see how she was feeling. Also, she started to experience separation anxiety, which

and see if there was anything else she needed.
*They don't "waste" your money! There has been two instances when I called and asked questions about my puppy. Instead of telling me to come in and get an exam, they gave me advice over the phone, and on one instance, called me in an prescription for her. This is so nice considering most vets would make you come in for a $50 exam before giving any advice. Not only did they do this, but they also followed up with calls to make sure

was doing well.
*They are reasonably priced! I called around to multiple vets and inquired about pricing for regular dog visits. Ambassador was reasonably priced in comparison to others. Especially when it came to "boarding" my pet. We had to leave
Lexington Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
overnight, and they were wonderful! The receptionist knew that I was a little uncomfortable leaving her overnight, so she even told me that she would make sure that she got in a little early so that I could pick her up earlier the next morning!
