did a very professional job cleaning my house, porch and driveway.
contacted me immediately after entering" my information on their website. My appointment was scheduled the next day. The company arrived as scheduled and did an outstanding job. I really enjoyed the knowledge I received on the difference between power washing verses soft washing my home. After the soft wash, my house looked like new and the driveway was bright and white. Since soft washing uses a chemical to breakdown the dirt, the entire house cleaning only took 2 hours. I was extremely pleased with the process and the work done on my home.

"The work was done over about a three week period. It went pretty smoothly. All the work looks great, and seems well done. The master carpenter,
, did very" nice work on the front porch, retaining wall/steps, and fence. There were a couple of minor spots where they had to come back and touch up the trim paint around a window, which they did promptly when I pointed it out. There was minor damage to some bushes around the house, which is understandable since the bushes were badly overgrown. They did a pretty good job of cleaning up after themselves and pressure-washed the concrete driveway.

"Arrived on time and did a great job. I have an older, larger driveway that hadn't been cleaned in years. I figured there would be lots of stains they wouldn't be able to" remove (Old oil stains, etc from over the years) but I was wrong. Very impressed. The driveway and roof eves look much better than I anticipated. Thanks guys. Will definitely use you again in the future.

Pressure washers are a great way to tackle outside cleaning projects. For smaller jobs, a store-bought washer and the investment of several hours are usually enough; larger tasks benefit from the power of a professional service. (Photo courtesy of Angie's List member Brian M. of Roswell, Ga.)

Pressure Washing

When it comes to keeping your home exterior, sidewalk and deck clean, there are a myriad of options available. One of the most popular (and efficient) is pressure washing – using a gas or electric-powered appliance, you can scour off dirt and blast away grime. Proper use and safety, however, is critical.

Pressure Washing reviews in Greenwood

Everything went great. We had several estimates performed in
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
2014 in connection with the painting of the exterior of our home.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
provided us with a free estimate and a detailed written proposal. We hired Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
based on the cost relative to the work proposed as well as the level of professionalism exhibited by him during our first meeting. He gave us an estimated start date of Mid-October 2014. He kept in touch with me throughout the summer, and, due to better than expected weather, was able to move our start date to the end of September. The job took exactly as long as he said it would. He and his employees arrived on time, and were polite and lovely to deal with. Our house looks great and we could not be more pleased with the results. We would absolutely hire him again and would recommend him without reservation.

Everything went well with the service, and our house looks much better. We're happy with

. The bleach fumes can be a little strong even with the windows closed, though, so if you're sensitive, you may want to leave your home when it's being done and come back when it's finished.

From the first email to this organization requesting a quote on the work I wanted done to the last discussion after the work was done, the staff of
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
Landscaping are the BEST. Doing our communication through email worked well. Their response to each email I sent was prompt and very informative. Every question I had was answered. Today they arrived to do the work on time and got the job done beautifully. They even went over the brick wall on the back patio so nothing would come through my home to mess it up. My patios look beautiful and around my townhome is mulched just perfectly. I'm so happy with the work.. Thanks so much to

I was looking for someone who used nontoxic products, and couldn't help noticing all of the A reviews for this company. My house has white aluminum siding, and the whole one side was covered with mildew.

promised I'd see a big difference, but I tried to keep my expectations low, since I'd been disappointed with another company I'd used in the past. When I returned home I was stunned...could not believe the difference. When

recommended washing the roof, I liked the idea, but told him I thought I had some shingles missing from the highest part of the roof. He replaced those too! Are you kidding? I know how hard it must have been to cut through the years of accumulated mildew and dirt, especially on my driveway. And my windows have not been this clean in a LONG time. I highly recommend this company's services, and would not hesitate to call

There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional costs. The cost was great for the amount of work that was done. He was very responsive and willing to accommodate my scheduling. He was able to complete the work even when I was not home. It was nice to come home and see all of the work complete and the areas cleaned. It was great! My experience with them was amazing!

I called them before purchasing a coupon for $2000. The coupon stated a total square footage to be covered. Well, our

plank is in several places around the house. But the house is mostly brick. We also needed trim painted, caulking, and painting of the

plank, but NO windows, the windows are all aluminum

, and do not require painting. They indicated on the phone that the coupon would cover the cost of everything but paint. When they had a cancellation during the weekend, they contacted me to see if I wanted to get the job started on Oct 13. So they came that morning, and said immediately that it would be an additional $1000 for the elevation of the house. It is a 2 story house, and does have some additional elevation, due to slope, but only in the back of the house. I thought $1000 additional was too much, but I wanted to get the house painted and they were there. They began with power washing, and apparently the wand got away, and that caused noticeable scratches in 2 areas on the side of the house. When they were finishing up, my husband and I walked around , and checked everything, and pointed out the 2 scratches, which were very visible from the ground level. He explained that the power washer had caused them, and seemed to indicate that nothing would be done about it. We asked them to fix it, and indicated that we were not going to accept having the scratches be there. So he had a painter go up, and use some epoxy, and repaint over it to fill it in. It looks ok now, and seems to be holding. However, we weren't happy that they had caused some damage, and didn't appear to be concerned about it. And we did pay an extra $1000. So we think it was an OK price, but are beginning to wonder why Angie's list coupon providers almost always seem to have "extra" charges. The coupon stipulated that it was $4000 worth of painting for $2000. A few people in the neighborhood have similar trim, with mostly brick exteriors and know they paid about the same ($3000) so really we didn't think we got any savings. Also, they only did one coat for that price. Overall, it was an OK job, and I think we paid about the going price, so again, really no coupon savings! We do think they did a god job caulking the areas we could see, and to us, the caulking was the most important thing we were after. Hopefully they caulked all areas as well as the ones we could see. And it was nice to have a fresh coat of paint due to the fading that has occurred. Overall, OK

House was not caulked prior to painting, even though we had been assured several times that this was “part of the prep process” by the owner. Now, just a few days after painting, the stair-step cracks in the stucco and around window casings that
were there prior (and one of the main reasons we decided to repaint) are already beginning to reappear. I believe (but have not confirmed) that this integral step was skipped by the painting team due to a shortened “prep” day due to a forecast weather front bringing rain into our area for 20 straight hours. They were only at our house for less than two hours on the day they were supposed to block all the windows and trim, caulk and prime the house. Clearly, the caulking was the time consuming task they skipped to accommodate the shortened schedule. Early the next day (when the house was still wet from the rain), the painting team (two men on days 1 & 2; 1 on day 3) jumped right into painting the main color of the house, completing that in a single day. They also stripped the front door and put it back on its hinges for repainting the following day. On Day 3, a now single worker did all of the trim and the front door himself. Although the front of the door looks nice, the old stripped paint had been allowed to drip onto the door’s sides and instead of removing it, was just painted over the top with fresh paint. Not only is this obvious and unsightly when the door is opened (globs of dripped paint), it causes the door to stick due to the uneven thickness on the sides. The door was also closed by the painter and declared “finished,” when it wasn’t quite dry yet; resulting in black paint splotches on our white interior trim paint (in fact, some areas of the frame that were painted black are still wet 6 days later; probably because this is wood and it doesn’t dry that fast after there’s been rain). Finally, two large (50

) construction sized bags filled with used paint cans (including the larger 5-
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
white containers), painted on butcher paper, thrown out
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
’ bags, etc. were left on the side of our house (without telling us; we only “discovered” them several days later while doing yard work). Unlike the other issues with the painting itself (the cracks, front door, etc.), this was an immediate problem as we are only allocated one garbage can per trash pick-up day due to county rules and our one can was already full (Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
lives and works in this county, so he is well aware of this fact). I, believing the trash was left behind accidentally
because the worker was rushing to finish the project so he wouldn’t have to come back another day, sent an email to Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
, asking that one of his team members come pick up the bags. 1-1/2 days later, when I still had not received a response to my request, I resorted to sending another message through his “contact” form on his website. When I finally received a response later that afternoon (over 2 days after my first message), it was the rather glib response that he’d “never had a problem with the garbage men picking it up” before and that he would “try” to get over at some point to eventually get the bags. This was upsetting on several levels to me. First, that he showed such a disregard over my obvious concern over being left with several large bags to dispose (not caring at all on how I was to accomplish this). Second, I now had two very large bags of very smelly paint trash that I could not bring into the garage (too smelly) or leave by the
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
restrictions). Third, how long it actually took for me to get any response at all from Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
(and just days after the project was “completed.”) And finally, and probably the most disturbing, the left behind garbage was not an accidental oversight. Apparently
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
leaves their contractor trash behind for the owners to dispose. It’s probably not surprising that I declined Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
’s less than sincere offer to finally get the trash at this point.
Needless to say, I’m very dissatisfied with the quality of the work performed (particularly the skipping of the integral prep step of
caulking pre-existing cracks, something we were assured several times by Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
would be completed) and the lack of responsiveness by the owner after the fact on even the simplest of tasks (the garbage left behind). It is clear that the various problems that arose during the painting process (most discovered only after a more careful inspection of the house after completion) were due to the paint team’s efforts to stay on schedule (even with the rain interruption that essentially took out a
whole day) and the one individual’s desire to go home early (he lives in another state). Although Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
eventually offered to fix the problems caused by his paint team (after my husband exchanged several phone calls/text messages with him), his handling of my initial communications convinced us he would not give us the appropriate time and concern needed to
adequately repair the work already done at our home. So, we also declined his offer to repair. As far as we’re concerned, we
paid quite a bit of money for this service ($1,800 for a single-story, 1,850 s.f. house) and received sub-par service. We would not trust Mr.
Greenwood Pressure Washing Services Provider Name Locked
with our house a second time.
