"I took a photo on my cellphone of a badly rusted section of the grillwork, a horizontal bar, right next to the vertical bar on the ironwork and brought it to
" in my neighborhood. I'd never dealt with them before.
looked at the phone and said he needed to look at the problem himself before estimating but the job required several cuts around the vertical bars that joined the rusted bar. He was going to be the neighborhood and, as this was on the front of the building, he could come by without an appointment. That was a Saturday. Monday morning I got the call that he was outside and had examined the problem. I came out.. He said it would be $175 and he could bring his men down that morning. I had already gotten another estimate by e-mail that was more than double, so I said to go ahead.
came back within the hour with his men and equipment. They cut out the rusted section and replaced it with a stronger bar. I had also wondered why this one section was rusting. He discovered the cause: a hole near the end of the bar was letting water in that was flowing through the inside of the bar. He closed that hole also. I was impressed with his professionalism and pleasant manner, rapid response, and of course, with a reasonable price after getting a much larger estimate from another company. I was also impressed that
stayed and did the work himself with his helpers assisting. I had gone to a third company with my photo and they said they'd come by but days later, haven't heard back.

"It went great. They have a huge book of possibilities for railings. We choose a beautiful design. Our steps & the pitch were measured & the railing was made" just for them. They are a perfect fit together & look wonderful. The installation crew were very nice. They were very professional & knowledgable. They took care to make sure the railing was not scratched. They cleaned up before leaving & did not leave a spot of installation material.

Iron Work reviews in Greenville

Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
has years of experience in ironworks. He keeps his appointments, he is punctual, and formal. He is great at keeping communication and is attentive to details. He is also very organized.
We provided some designs on photoshop and he was able to reproduce them almost to exactitude! Iron gates are permanent fixtures that will remain in our home for years to come, and we are satisfied with the end product. We would definitely hire

's team again.

Was promised a light fixture which was not made. Fair price offered and additional services promised yet not delivered. Did not install door sweep on two of installed doors at the time of delivery I was told they had run out and would return to complete. Did return to measure for the light fixture a second time and then did not provide it. Failed to answer multiple phone calls and when finally reached I was told that the additional items, including the light fixture, would not be provided, despite having three witnesses to the promised deal.

We needed to install an iron railing on an outside staircase that leads to the front door. However, our home has historical designation and we needed to match an existing 1926 railing on the upper part of the staircase.
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
was able to reproduce the existing railing perfectly and installed it without damaging the existing concrete or landscape.
It took few more weeks than initially anticipated because a detailing of the railing had to be specifically cast out of state, but he kept us in the loop and we agreed it was the right way to go.
We're very happy with the work and and would definitely use him again.

Initial discussion of the job included the fact that the fence had to be installed straight (not undulate with the topography), since the fence sections were rigid. Instructions from representative to the foreman were changed from "straight" to "level". The terrain is not quite level, but slopes slightly. Halfway through installation, the crew realized that "level" wouldn't work, as the underground supports were sticking increasing too far out of the ground. At a gate, an unsightly "step down" was created to compensate.
I have asked them to redo a portion of the installation, and offered to pay them for the work. In May of this year (2015), I was told that their current work schedule reached out to mid-

. Now, after 4 1/2 months of silence, I have been notified that they are not interested in fixing their error, even as a paid job.
I am very disappointed that the fence will not be fixed. I am thoroughly disgusted at the lack of communication and professionalism. I would not recommend

MG was very efficient and knew the processes involved. Worked for almost four hours completing the repairs and was equipped with appropriate tools and spare parts to complete the project. Project involved cutting through metal welds and re-setting new hinges on a 6 inch pipe gate post. MG was friendly and communicated with the owner and explained what was to be done to complete the project. Would recommend MG for

came out to the property, measured and confirmed the style that was compatible with and that conformed to my

The fence enclosure is beautiful! We will definitely have them do more work for us in the future. I highly recommend

We had
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
come out to install railings on our front steps and landings. We recently purchased our home and the insurance company said that we needed to install railings. They came highly recommended on Angies list as well as from a coworker.
I was so disappointed with
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
, from the scheduling, to the install to the customer service. I had such a negative experience that I cannot believe they are even in business.
On 7/16/15 we had an estimate done. They came out promptly, quoted us $1,375 to install the railings and said it would be 2 to 3 weeks for them to fabricate and install the railings for the steps and the landing.
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
scheduled our install for 3 weeks out on 8/10/15. They called the morning of the 10th and canceled the install because they had an employee call out sick. I had to follow up with them twice to get rescheduled for 8/14/15, a month after the estimate (which should have only taken 2-3 weeks)
I was told that I did not need to be there for the installation, and they came out on the 14th while I was at work and installed the railings. The top railings on the landing were both too large for the space, and were jammed up against the house, scratching my shingles and leaving no space in between. The railings on the landing were also installed incorrectly. The railing on the left was 3.5 inches from the

of the stairs (both the top and bottom post). The railing on the right was 6 inches from the
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
of the stairs on the bottom post, and 5.5 inches from the
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
of the stairs on the top post. Quite frankly it looked ridiculous, and I was very upset with the installation.
I called
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
to express my disappointment in the install. They came out on 8/19/15 to look at the install. I was told they would arrive between 8 & 9 AM. I called at 10, and was told they would be there by 11. I called back at 11 and was told they would be there by noon. They finally showed up well after noon to look at the railings and propose a solution, which included taking out the railings on the landing and sending them back to the shop to shorten them. It also included taking out the railing on the right to move it over to match the distance for the railing on the left.
The next day 8/20/15 (another day off of work for me) they came out to remove the top railings.
On 9/1/15 they were scheduled to reinstall the railings. They told me they would be there between 12 & 1. I took the day off again. At 12:27 they called and canceled on me because another job ran late.
On 9/2/15 (you guessed it, another day off from work) they came back again to install the railings again. The top railings came out fine, but the railing on the stairs that needed to be moved left holes in my stone steps when it was moved which they had to fill with concrete. The other option was for them to replace the stone, but there was no guarantee the color would match the other steps, and I had already lost confidence in their craftsmanship, the last thing I wanted was for them to start taking apart my steps.
I called to discuss my options for compensation due to the six days I had to take off work when they came (or were scheduled to come but canceled), and for the filled holes in my stone steps. They offered me $300, which I did not
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
sufficient for the damage to the stairs or my time. I pushed for half of the cost. Both myself and the woman from
Greenville Wrought Iron Fence Provider Name Locked
were noticeably
frustrated with each other on the phone. They kept telling me that the stairs were pitched wrong and that why it happened. When I pressed that that should have been seen in the estimate when they measured the woman told me that the guy who did the estimate was in his 80’s and ‘what can you expect’. Well, I expect everyone to do their jobs, guess that was silly of me. We finally settled on the cost of the labor to be refunded in the amount of $475. They said they would mail me a check – guess what – I never got a check.
I would never do business with this vendor, and I wish I never had. I'm not sure how a company in the service industry can treat people this way, not review their work, and blatantly lie about a refund.

I was having a new wrought iron railing installed. I went out of town for 1 month. They were supposed to install a new railing for me that was new and baked on. I wanted square post. They gave square, twisted, square. When I got back from vacation. The wrought iron was rusted. The fence is bubbled, not shiny. It is sparcely painted. It is peeling. Where the spokes meet the bottom rail it looks like a blob of putty. The gates are not on the hinges properly. Every spoke has a twist tie on it. It looks like an old fence. They got solder on my carpeted back porch. They dropped the torch and damaged the carpet. I tried to get a hold of them 3 times. I finally got a hold of the office and she said that the men would come out. I said I wanted the owner to come out. They said he would come Tuesday. That came and went. I have never heard from him.
