It took over 4 hours and talking to 4 different customer service representatives simply to change my installation date. This also included one customer service rep. hanging up on me because she did not know how to do her job. Customer service rep. #4 finally changed the date for me so I took a half-day off of work (unpaid) to meet the installation worker who never showed up. No one bothered to call me to let me know that AT&T was not going to show up. It took about 30+ minutes online with a customer service rep. to figure out what was going on. Apparently the AT&T installation workers were "just too busy" and were not going to make it to my house. I lost wages for this. The online rep. apologized profusely and scheduled me for 2 days later. Against my better judgement, I accepted the new installation date. I received notification/reminders online and through text reminding me of my appointment. I waited and waited. Once again, NO ONE SHOWED UP and no one bothered to call to tell me this and I wasted yet another few hours of my life. I ended up speaking online with 2 different customer service reps. who were not able to help me whatsoever, yet they would not cancel my original order with AT&T Uverse. They did not understand why I did not want to reschedule AGAIN. One of them even disconnected our conversation right in the middle. I have never been "hung up" on during an online customer service chat before. Where does AT&T find these people?!! This is by far the absolute worst customer service and support I have ever encountered (and I don't even have the service)! Rest assured I will NEVER attempt any business with AT&T in the future, especially here in

my sister and I have waited all day for installation of our new genie. my sister has been a customer for 13+ years. we were told they would b here between noon and 4pm at the latest, well it's after 5pm and he just showed up! now since this installation takes 2+ hours, our entire day and night is ruined! I had a stroke on Sunday and my sister had a kidney stone 2 days ago and just passed it last night. then we had to get up and clean house all morning, and wait, and wait, and wait..our friends, because of this terrible week were going to take us out for a Queen's feast at $30,00 pp, but now we had to cancel. and we had to pick something up tonight, we now had to cancel that, and when my sister called a supervisor, angry, they told her she had no right to be angry and not to threaten them.. a threat is "I am going to hit you" being angry and saying "I'm angry' is not a threat. so nice try to
out of it. then when he came, after then he tells her it will be an additional $100.00! when she calls for a supervisor again, she gets tossed to person to person, and then, of course, she was disconnected! She asked several times if installation was free and was told over and over there would be no additional charges, and now they are playing bait and switch. I WILL be installation and TWO months of free direct
to reimburse us for everything we lost, but time is something you can never give us back.

I have my internet service with Century link as it is the only provider
that services my house. Century link has the worst customer service of
any company I have ever dealt with in recent memory. My internet has
been barely working since June 25th. It is now

time I called in I was told that my router was the issue. I went out
and bought a new router and the problem still was not fixed. They then
told me that I needed an appointment at my house. The soonest they
could come out was 7 days later. My appointment was from 8 AM to 12
PM. I waited and waited but no one showed up. I called tech support.
They called the dispatching department and were told that the techs
were just too busy and not only didn't have time to come up but didn't
even have time to call. Basically, too bad, so sad. They showed up the
next day and fixed something outside the house. It worked for about a
day then the problem returned. I made another call to tech support.
They worked with me for a long time and told me I was dropping packets
during the upload process and this was causing my overall slow speeds. The capped my speed at half of what I was paying for in order to stabilize the connection. They made an appointment for the techs to come to my place again about 5 days later. I was traveling for work when the tech was supposed to come out. He called me the day before to find out where my place was. After I told him he asked me what the problem was with my service. Seriously? I asked him if he read my ticket as told "Not yet". He comes out the next day and leaves me a message. "I came out to look at your service. The problem was somebody but a cap on your speed. I took it off. All is working" Are you kidding me?? I told him about the cap the day before. Of course, when I got home from traveling the service was still not working and I'm still waiting for them to come fix it. Supposedly they are coming out on the 17th.
If you have any options other than Century Link please avoid them like the plague!!!! This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Oh, I almost forgot. I was give the area managers phone number. I have left him two messages so far with no call back.

in response to an advertisement, and received a quote for HDTV and whole home DVR to four TVs. I waited a few days, and called back again, confirming the price and services on the previous quote, and scheduled the install. When the installer arrive I reviewed promised services and equipment, and it was clear that

was planning to install standard equipment. At that point, I decided to not let the tech begin the install. Upon questioning this,

told me that the promised services would be $25/month more, and they were disappointed to hear that it was not yet installed.
I spoke to customer service, was transferred around several times, and all anyone wanted to tell me was WHY they would charge me more, but everyone refused to honor what I was verbally quoted. One customer service rep refused to transfer me to a supervisor.
When asked DirectTV to pull the recorded calls that included the review of the quotes, I was told it was not DirecTVs policy to honor misquotes. I cancelled my order.

At first, I was very skeptical because the called twice to say the we're running late. Once they arrived, however, we discussed what we wanted and the got right to work. There were no additional unplanned charges. They told us it would likely be an 8 hr job and they were completed on time. They cleaned up after themselves and were pleasant and professional. Our "man cave" looks amazing with the 55", 70", and 50" TVs and we can't wait for football season!

Installation portion in the crawlspace was OK, maybe an A-. I am super picky and didn't like that he left cables on the ground and attached cables to my water main. Minor detail!

!!! Satellite internet is a rip-off. They are price gouging and taking advantage of people who live in areas where DSL or Cable modems aren't offered. There is no reason why this service should be so expensive.
at&t offers 250GB worth of data a month for 39.00 and we are paying 80.00 for 20GB and we don't even get the full 20 because they have taken our off peak data usage from our peak usage. I am totally dissatisfied with this service.

the supposed 'supervisor' was no help at all!! I cannot name the other operators that we attempted to get help from because I am not sure how to spell Shanikqua, and two other names. Each operator we spoke with seemed to be reading from the same script. I am so unhappy with the lack of service and non-responsiveness of this service provider I will not return to them when Comcast starts their inevitable price jacking.
