"Two men came out within hours of our initial call. After determining that well pump needed to be replaced- which had to be done during daylight hours- they returned" early the following day and completed the job. We needed to decide whether we wanted "city" pressure, which would have cost substantially more. Otherwise, they presented the possibilities of needing to replace the in-well wiring as well as the wiring from the well to the house. The latter was not necessary- in our case, that would have entailed digging up our driveway. Work was completed within several hours. We were given detailed instructions on flushing the system and delaying use of our washer and dishwasher for 48 hours, to avoid clogging their filters with debris from the churned-up well water. The workers were prompt and behaved professionally. This occurred before we had snow on the ground, which made their job easier. We also knew exactly where our well is located. Pricing seemed a little steep, but with suddenly no water in winter, we did not have the luxury of comparison-shopping. Apparently it is industry standard to charge travel time for each worker, which added approximately $800 to our cost.

was very helpful and took a lot of time to troubleshoot different problem areas with the wiring in our home that was affecting the operation" of our well pump.
continually reassured me that we'd have water running by end of day, and he was right. They were quick to show up after I called them, and everything is once again in working order in the house. I paid more than I'd like to have, having owned this house for less than five years, but that it not this company's fault. These types of repairs are expensive and necessary. Bottom line, this company was fantastic and I would highly rate them to anybody who has this type of issue!

Wells and pumps

Water supplied by wells is just as safe, convenient and reliable as municipal water supplies and millions of homes around the country rely on wells. But relying on a well requires an understanding of its components, and regular maintenance and testing.

Anything that puts a strain on your well pump may cause it to fail prematurely. Here are some of the situations that can lead to a malfunctioning well pump.

Fantastic service by
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
and his co-worker. My well pump failed on Sunday afternoon - after looking through several choices on Angie's List, I selected
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
, and I'm glad I did.
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
was very professional and sympathetic, said he could be out by early afternoon next day. He was delayed, but called to let me know, and arrived on site right when he said he would. He quickly assessed the problem and gave me an estimate to pull the pump. He and his co-worker went right to work, and four hours later he had water flowing. They went above and beyond working in the subfreezing temps. I will definitely be recommending

to anyone who might need well service!

came out and tested the water with a very comprehensive, thorough test. He took the time to explain how the well, pump and filter system should work. Our system was very old and not functioning. The quote was high but we had hard water with lots of iron and manganese also with arsenic coming in a bit over the safe limit.

explained the test results and the proper filtration that would solve the problems. We quickly scheduled a date and the installation was done professionally. Now, our water is clear and clean with no coloration or nasty smell. I would highly recommend

The guy is great they did good work. The sump pump was 25 years old. He did a nice job and I was happy with the work he did. He called me back immediately he was very accommodating.

First, I'll make the point I want users to be aware of. This company will charge you roughly FOUR TIMES more for the pump than it's actual cost. I looked up the model on four separate sources with free shipping. It was anywhere from 275 to 450 for this exact model. They charged me 1630.00! My advice, order the pump and have it there for them to install. The pump will have it's own warranty and they'd have to charge you the labor to pull it again anyway. The pulling labor and such seemed in line. I received no up front written quote of any kind. He did toss a couple numbers at me from his truck as he was leaving, but nothing I can recall or that meant anything to me. I went to home depot and shopped on line for 2HP residential pumps and figured around 450.00 so I let it go. When came time to pay, imagine my shock when I saw the pump price they charged me.
Now the time line. I called them on a Thursday morning when I found I had no water. I started at 0700 as they state that they have 24hr response. The call service took all my details and said if I didn't hear back within 20 min, to call back. I gave them 30. Same thing. an hour later, I called and got a live person. (Had this one failed, I'd have moved on to another vendor.)
A guy named
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
was dispatched to come take a look. He called on his way, and was very punctual and polite. Definitely an old salt at this game. After confirming that the issue was down the well and he would need his crane to pull it out, he advised me that the truck was busy until Friday. Friday he called and said it was still tied up. So, I pushed to Monday. I give
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
a plus for communication.
Monday arrives.

calls advises that they are on the way. Again great commo and was right on time. They did a great job (
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
and another member). Knew what they were doing. Quickly got to work, got the pipes pulled up, the old pump, replaced a couple corroded sections of pipe, new wires, and down it went one section at at time. Once they got it hooked up, they confirmed correct operation and ran it though an auxiliary pipe until it ran clear. (disrupted silt and sediment from pulling it out of the hole.) They checked the air level in the pressure tank and made sure the rest of the well system worked properly before they wrapped it up.
Then the bill....
I've called the company and requested to speak with someone of authority to ask for an adjustment.
I'll post an update with their decision.
Update: The response is that they want me to get a quote on letterhead from three other well drilling companies where the price is reflective of what I'm finding and then they may work with me. They will not accept the printed and public pricing from on line supply companies or local construction or plumbing supply companies. Again, do your homework UP FRONT. Find out what pump they use to replace yours, and ORDER IT ahead!!
Would I used them again or recommend them to someone?
Based on their work alone, I'd day yes.
BUT, only if I get a reasonable quote in writing and I'd certainly recommend that anyone else do the same and then negotiate anything that seems way out of the realm of reason.

We were having a problem with our well not pumping water to the house. I called the company and stated my problem . They were very friendly and professional. They came out within a couple days. The two men that came out, listened to my explanation of what was going on and felt they knew what the problem was. They explained what they would do and would only replace the pump if needed. They replaced the pumped within 1 1/2 hours. They were fast and efficient. I would definately use them again if needed!

We came home on a Friday evening after being out of town for three days to find we had no water. Panicking, I turned to Angie's list to find someone that would be able to come after hours. I found
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
and called them. A person answered the phone (unlike the first 2 I called) and promised someone would be out by noon on Saturday.

called at 10:30 saying he was on his way. He and his helper were in and out in under an hour and our water was flowing again. They were prompt, professional and charged a fair price. I will definitely turn to them if I ever have well problems again!

We had
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
out to do a well inspection and a water analysis on a home we are purchasing. I was very pleased with the entire experience. Scheduling was very easy, they were on-time, and the inspector was extremely thorough. He answered all of my questions as I've never had a well before and explained each component of the system. The water analysis came back within 2 days as well. Overall I was very satisfied and would highly recommend

for any well/water needs.

I saw
Warwick Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
on Angie's and remembered I had good experience when it had performed previous pump service. I called and it was scheduled the following day. The technician had an unexpected delay on the previous job, but was only one hour late; not inconvenient. The pump and tank function properly. Thanks, Angie.
