The customer service is outstanding. We saw They have a massive inventory and an incredible work ethic. We met the owner, Bill Yasick, for the first time when he came to measure the kitchen, so we would know how much granite to order. Our area was approx. 85sq ft. He made sure that we made no mistakes! We really received an education on granite, installation and the mistakes that can happen if you don't know what to look for. That was invaluable to us. Very detail oriented, right down to the installers!
We chose a pattern that "moved" and Bill showed us how the granite needed to be installed so the pattern would flow. He worked diligently and used 3 slabs of granite to ensure our kitchen looked beautiful, and not like a jigsaw puzzle.
I looked around Angie's list for a company to do my counter and decided to go with a RI company - just seemed to make good business sense. Luckily for me, Bill and and talked to
When he arrived (even a tad early -wow!), he took his time to explain the difference between granite, quartz and other materials. It became obvious that granite was the way to go for me (and he kept stressing that he sold all the products, he just wanted me to be clear on what the differences were between the materials).
After going out to his truck and looking at all the lovely pieces, I brought 4 or 5 in the house to set against the backsplash mosaic and floor sample. The one Bill suggested turned out to be the hands down
The following week, Bill's crew showed up on time for installation. One thing I like is that these guys work directly for Bill and are not subcontractors. The old laminate was gone in a heartbeat and with a little wiggling (I have a small kitchen!), the gorgeous piece of granite was installed, sealed and wiped dry. Bill also sells, nearly at cost, under mount sinks. So that was a no-brainer. The crew was finished in just about 2 hours and cleaned up everything before leaving.
The only issue I had with the installation was the connection to the dishwasher. The crew tried just gluing the supports to the granite which didn't hold. I called

When the installers arrived they told me that everything was wrong with the bottom cabinets and much of the work had to be removed for the sink to fit. What I didn't realize at the time was that the reason I had to modify the bottom cabinets was that they had not centered the sink cutout in either direction. It was off by one inch front to back and more than an inch in the window. I called the showroom the showroom manager was always busy and would not return my phone
I would not do business with these people if they were giving the counter tops away.
