You will have to find out what your model costs new - looks like they run from about $400 to 1700 depending on size. IF yours is at the lower end, might be just as cheap to replace it, with parts and labor. If not low end, then repair probably works. Typical pricing of components that might have gone out - switch $80, timer/control unit $130, heating element $100 (probably most likely to have failed) - so if only one of these went out, figuring $100-200 labor, probably cheaper to fix it. I would contact your dealer for a better idea.
BTW - here is a Saunatec instruction on maintenance on the heating element and rocks, failure to follow can shorten heating element life, if that is what went out (and probably the simplest to replace) -

Pool Cleaning reviews in Smithfield
They had to replace all of our old equipment (we just bought the house and the equipent was shot and the pump actually quit working). They replaced the equipment with all new and upgraded parts of the system - installed a salt system, variable speed pump, and wireless controller for inside the house.
All work was completed as scheduled and the whole system works like a dream. We would definitely use them again and are planning to have them bid the pool renovation for later this year.
and that since I had to replace the pump(17 Years) that I could go with a smaller pump and that the pump could take care of both the pool and water feature. this along with repiping the above ground pipes to go with a new filter system. After the estimate was written I expected to be told
that we'll be back in 2 weeks to do the work. Nope. It turns out their large van contains every poosible part or equipment they need. Those men got to work, even though it was raining outside. Their work ethic aand deameanor was always friendly and patient despite the working conditions. It was a extreme pleasue to meet these men and I would highly recommend them”
I would also like to note that when Will came aboard to take care of my salt water pool it was not in good shape at all to say the least.
It was a brand new pool put in by an incompetent builder who left us with terrible levels and basically just a mess. It took Will and
They know their stuff and as long as they are in business, they will be our pool care providers!!
Thank you Will and
During the visit in April I asked to get an estimate on removing the diving board and replacing the sand in the filter; I left a couple messages after that and didn't hear from them. I would call back and get the excuse they were busy. At this point you would think that I would have given up on them and found another pool company but I felt like I had already invested my time in these guys and the grass isn't always
In January 2015 I had them come and close the pool. The weather was very cold and storms were coming in but they came out and took care of me which I am grateful for because that meant I didn't have to continually run my filter during the below freezing days!
Overall, we had a rocky start but communication has improved and I will continue to call them for all my pool needs :)
