The work was done very quickly and looks great. The original countertop was cobbled together across two different height cabinets. In addition, an electrical plug which was embedded in the counter top was also replaced properly and installed in the back wall. The whole job was done quickly and efficiently.
cleaned up afterwards and the whole experience was professional and pleasant. I would definitely use them again for any remodeling work needed.

I contacted
from the reviews on Angie’s List to add a small ¾ bath within the large upstairs bedroom of my cape. I had also contacted a couple of other contractors from Angie’s List too but after meeting
in person and talking through the project, he was clearly the best fit for the job. The other contractors offered no alternative solutions or money saving ideas and this is an area that
excels in. I had originally planned to do a very small bath within the large bedroom but
suggested a
(none of the other contractors brought that up).
’s concern was that doing the bath within the existing space would look odd, impact resale and cut into the room too much. He was right and we ended up doing to the

will always return your call – usually before you’ve hung up the phone! His quote was right on target and there were no surprises. He had made allowances for the materials but I bought everything myself.
will explain the steps along the way so you have a better understanding of the process and explain why something might be done a certain way. For example, he had planned to have the toilet on the wall next to the shower so it would be out of view when looking into the bathroom – something I never thought about. That ended up not being possible due to the way the floor joists were running but he explained why it couldn’t be done and it looks fine in the end. In addition, he will make suggestions about what to save on and what to spend money on - i.e., he said to buy a good, over $100, light/fan fixture and don't go crazy on tile as a basic tile will still look great. He also took out the old insulation under the
and replaced it. We really didn’t set a particular time frame for the job so it took a bit longer than I expected – partly due to the permits/inspections process. The contractors that he suggested for the plumbing and electrical did very well. The electrician had a couple of issues with the lighting I chose (one was for the kitchen) and he had to do additional work to get them installed. The guys that work for
are great – very friendly and professional. He helped me out with cutting down some old metal chain link fence posts that were a trip hazard in my walkway and didn’t charge me for it – much appreciated

I’m gathering ideas for my next project and once
’s schedule frees up a bit, he’ll be coming back to gut and redo the downstairs full bath.

The company is highly professional, careful about work and cleanup, and flexible about plan changes as the work goes along.

Wrench Renovations was the biggest mistake we ever made. During the bath renovations, he blew holes in some walls by using the wrong nails in his pneumatic gun. We had to clean up daily behind him. He install damaged tiles that we made him remove and replace, You can see every joint seam between drywall sheets. Just a poor poor job.
During the kitchen addition, he failed to properly cover the connection between the new and old roof lines and we had a storm that put inches of rain in our kitchen and basement. He installed the cabinets incorrectly and we had to use a sheet of sheet of covering material that should have belonged to a desk to hide the error. He never cleaned up after his workers, it became a daily chore for my wife and I. His worker damaged our bluestone steps while digging the foundation. He again used the wrong size nails in his pneumatic gun and blew holes through the walls in our stairwell. He installed the subflooring so badly that the flooring man refused to put down his material without redoing it. You can clearly see where the new and old ceiling were joined.
He was supposed to be finished with our project in late

, early August. WE fired him from the job the last week of October and had to hire others to complete the work and repair the damage he did. We spoke to a lawyer about

for the damages, but were advised that even when we won, after lawyer and court fees and collection fees, that we would be better of simply not paying the balance of $3000 that we owed and hoping that he would

I would NOT recommend this company for any job, no matter how big or small. If you do hire him, be sure to have him provide you with a copy of his insurance coverage. You WILL be needing it.

Pawtucket Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
has got to be New England's best kept secret; there isn't anyone in any field we would more highly recommend. He is a treasure and we are beyond lucky to have found him because we believed there simply aren't people like him around anymore. First of all, he is a true craftsman: his carpentry and woodwork are skillful and impeccable. Unlike any other contractor we've encountered, he is genuinely passionate about and committed to his trade: he does amazing, meticulous work. From the first conversation, he carefully listens and gives professional advice, providing options along the way and making sure we're happy at every step. He takes his time to do the best possible job, but is beyond fair in terms of price: in fact, he has always gone under budget! He suggests quality but reasonably priced materials. We have asked him about projects he could easily do, and instead of taking the job, he suggests people he knows who do good work and whose price he couldn't beat. He is totally honest, fair and trust-worthy--three rare qualities, especially in this line of work. He is stellar!

Froais and his very capable crew saved us from a possible disaster. What started as a

crack in the ceiling quickly turned into a major construction project after we discovered mold inside our ceiling and walls.
Pawtucket Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
helped us determine the problem (a water leak inside the walls) and worked with us to formulate a practical, affordable plan to fix it. We have an old house, so while the crew was taking down the ceiling, they discovered we had four layers of wallboard and plaster that had to come down. They demolished one wall as well.

identified the source of the mold inside the ceiling and eliminated it at the source. During this process we discovered that we had to replace all the plumbing in our upstairs bathroom (the original source of the problem) -

figured out how to do this without taking apart our bathroom (thus saving tons of time and money) and now my plumbing is up to code and my drains work like a dream. To make matters worse, we discovered old wiring just dangling in the walls - a clear fire hazard (we are lucky the house never burnt down)
Pawtucket Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
had his team replace it and brought the whole room (along with the house breaker box) up to code. The walls and ceiling went back together, the room was painted, wallpapered and, at the last minute,

was able to get his floor guys to re-do the oak floors. All of this was done in less than 5 weeks so we were able to hold our annual Thanksgiving open house, just like always! During the job,

and his crew were professional, conscientious and helpful. They were very respectful and careful of our property. They cleaned up after themselves, were always polite and worked with us every step of the way. We felt the price for the job was more than fair, communication was consistent and professional and all our questions were answered quickly and completely. We highly recommend

I instantly had a good feeling when I met

. I had a closet in my dining room that I wanted to convert into a built in hutch and use the additional space for a hall closet. I have a kitchen pantry that needed a wall to cover the pipes from the second floor bathroom and I wanted new wood doors through out the first floor custom made with trim work, to give the affect of panels. I gave them the design I wanted for the hutch and it also had to be removable, to get to the pipes of the first floor bathroom (in case of an emergency). Their price was reasonable, and actually under what I guessed. The carpenters that came to the house, showed up on time, cleaned after themselves and did a fantastic job. The custom built hutch was just as I designed it. The job was done quickly. I think under a week, and done professionally. I am a very detailed person and I would hire this company for all my future needs.

I live in a very old house, where the walls were made using horse hair. The walls were in bad shape and needed replaced and the house needed updated. It took about a week altogether and they cleaned up the mess every day, before they left. This was no small job. My husband and I are quite pleased and everything looks great.

I was a little upset by the commotion, but at 80 years old, it happens. They did clean everything up and I feel the cost was reasonable. All in all, I think this company did a beautiful job.

My working experience with
Pawtucket Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was great. I was single female and a homeowner. He made sure I was always comfortable with all my decisions. I was apprehensive trying to find a contractor because I was afraid I would be taken advantage of. He would present me with all my options and offer his opinions for what he could do. Often times his recommendations were not the most expensive choice but the one that made the most sense and I appreciated that greatly. His skills were also shown in full when he helped reconfigure my small bathroom which barely had enough room for one person alone. He fixed the floor, moved the wall, added a new sink, toilet, drop ceiling, and a fan. These changes may seem

but it was in a 500 square foot two bedroom apartment! After it was done I could still sit and eat in my kitchen! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He is trustworthy, efficient, knowledgeable, and a true pleasure to work with.
