"My effort to contact this company began in December 2013. Mr.
and I had several good conversations regarding the nature of the work I wished" to have done. In January he came to my house and reviewed the piece of furniture involved. He agreed he could do the job. Despite several follow up calls on my part to firm up a date for pick-up of the piece of furniture, he never followed up. I believe he must have a lot of work - bigger and more lucrative jobs. If you are interested in engaging him on a small or medium size job, it probably is not worth his time. It bothers me that I cannot write a good review for his company since I really believe he could do a professioal job of the type I am looking for. I am now looking for another company or person to take on this job.

"It went well. He showed up on time, did the work quickly and it looked great when he was done. It was really nice to have to work done in our home and not have" to deal with finding a dry day to haul the sofa somewhere for repair.

Furniture Refinishing & Repair

Many families have learned the hard way that antique furniture inherited from the grandparents can't be treated as roughly as modern furniture with its polyurethane finish. Here are tips on what you can do about older furniture that has become damaged. You can make some minor repairs yourself or hire a local furniture repair expert.

That's an interesting concept, plus now you can buy all-new furniture at your new place. You can find ratings and reviews on local real estate agents on Angie's List. I would definitely finding a few agents who are familiar with that kind of listing, or alternatviely, you may want to consider an auction house to help sell off our furniture (which you can also find on Angie's List). Furniture Repair reviews in Washington

My husband talked to him previously in regards to the price they agreed on which was $200. I had the day off so I dealt with the provider and he tried to get more money off of me. He was 15 minutes late (which is ok since he warned us) and he then walks into the home and basically starts nickle and diming trying to charge me for other things that he didnt mention previously. It took him 22 minutes to do the job then afterwards he apologised to me saying he didnt mean to upset me. I was just upset because he quoted us a price diffrent then what he asked of for my husband. He lied about the recliner cord being $200 when it was really on $12.66, also tried telling me that he didnt know that he was to remove the arms of the recliner when I saw that it was noted on the receipt. I feel like he's a con artist.

I searched
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
and Google for someone that could repair wooden furniture. There are many that will repair/recover upholstered furniture but this was a piece that was missing veneer in several areas and it was too nice a piece to just cover up these areas with stain and just 'live with it' .
I contacted
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
to see IF the damaged areas on my armoire COULD be repaired. I called and
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
answered. I explained to
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
what my issues were and he agreed to come by and look to see if he could help me.
He assessed the damaged areas and we agreed on a price .
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
said the repair process would take two trips to my house and that he would start Tuesday of the following week. I had the piece in the garage and
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
suggested I bring it into the house so It wouldn't be damaged again in yet another move. He called on Monday to verify that he would be here on Tuesday. On Tuesday he called again to say he was on his way and arrived shortly thereafter.
I let
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
get to work and he did everything he could do that first day. He had me look at what was done and asked if I had any questions or if he missed anything. He agreed to return the following Thursday at 8:00 am to complete his work.
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
arrived and got right to work to complete the repair. He repaired and touched up everything. He even did minor touch up on other pieces the same color furniture in the room.
I am very happy with the results of
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
's efforts. Some of the damage was severe as far as I was concerned. The piece looks wonderful now and if you didn't see the damage before you wouldn't know it was repaired. The color match is amazing.
He is truly an artist.
In our first conversation
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
said he has been repairing furniture for 39 years. I knew then that he could do what he said he could do. You cannot be in business for 39 years and do mediocre work.

did a really good job and is a real pro. Good craftsmanship and attention to details. It's hard to tell which handle is original and which is the new one. My only complaint is that
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
is far from me and so a little inconvenient. And it's not cheap. But if you have those pieces that you want well-restored,
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
is a go-to place.

I've always had great service from
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
. Looked at the piece the day after I called, gave me an estimate, took it with him that day, returned it a few days later.
- Betsy T.

The wood looks great. No damage or stains on the leather - which was a relief, since protecting the leather required great care.
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
also conditioned the leather without being asked. He picked up and delivered the chairs without extra charge. Altogether, a great job.

A&A Furniture Repair & Upholstery did a beautiful job bringing my chairs back to life and to their original high quality and style. They stripped the chairs down to the wood frame, replaced all the inner webbing and cushioning materials, then recovered them with an Italian brocade fabric, which I purchased separately. I was particularly impressed with how well they placed and matched adjoining pieces of the material in each of the chairs, as well as how the 2 chairs complement each other as a pair. I've received many compliments on them.
- Mary C.

He was punctual and the table turned out beautifully. My only disappointment was that the discount didn't go very far for the work. I had to negotiate down in price. But he was accommodating.

My experience with
Washington Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
was good. The fiberglass chair was a challenge and a first for this person, but he did a great job making it look like new!
