"Not knowing what this dog went through before I homed him I wanted to make sure we got some good training. I have worked with him for months and decided it was" time to try him at CGC. My other dog and I are certified pet therapy team so I knew about this training already. The trainer was extremely knowledgeable about the breeds and dog handling. They encourage positive training which this dog responds well to. Very happy.

"I have 2 small dogs that bark at the door when the bell is , bark and lunge at dogs while walking on the leash and jump up on people when" they're excited. I called at BarkBusters after my Queen Vet Clinic referred me to him. came out one week later and was absolutely brilliant in his assessment of what my two dogs (one is 7 yrs. old and the other is 11) required, but mainly on what behavior I needed to modify to get the results I was looking for in training these two little "older ". He came to my house for 3 hours and was able to make an instant improvement in the three of us. He instructed what I needed to do at home in my training before we left the house and went for a walk. He was right, they were responsive and all of the training required using the of my voice and no touching or food. As it turned out - you can teach an old dog a new trick -- I am living proof (49 yrs. old). Just after implementing his training two days later, they are as well. If you have a dog or dogs, no matter their age, I would highly recommend 's services. I am completely satisfied that the money I spent was more than worth it.

I had a very aggressive German as my first dog. A large part of the problem was that she started protecting me when she was 3 months old and I didn't know what to do. After spending hard earned money at several local and not so local "training" places, I learned nothing and my dog became older and even more assertive. ...More It was great when at 5 months old she leaped out of the car window in front of me when a guy was coming over to fight over a parking space in Queens, but only because my sister caught hold of her as her jaws snapped shut (a few inches shy of the guy's arm). I had to literally scan the sidewalk ahead of me for anything that might potentially set her off. Drunk people coming my way, need not apply and I didn't worry about going down into the Van Wyck subway stop to meet my sister, but I couldn't be sure if the average person on the street near me would be safe. I had some initial help finally (when she was 5 years old), from an ex-Marine, and then I found . I didn't put in a dollar amount for his services and the date is approximate (counting ~5 years old for ) since I met him when he was the training director of a Schutzhund club. spent the next few years with and me, teaching me to understand my dog. and I earned a Sch B together (a "real life" obedience title, with everything from other dogs, people biking, to walking inside a circle of people "milling around.") Heeling and recalls off leash and of course, a very long down stay (with me out of sight) under USA Judge West. We passed! and actually had some fun! Judge West's comment I remember most was that "it was clear" that my dog and I were truly friends. And we could be friends because we trained fairly, not compulsively. Everyone who was there applauded our accomplishment and I contribute our success to ability to read my dog and to teach me.

My current German has had and rescue training, is a Certified Therapy Dog, and we have just started sheep herding. Although does not certify therapy dogs or teach shepherding, I can still say with all honesty that the lessons I learned from him in other areas of training, still apply to whatever my new adventure is. I remember lessons about "no tension on the leash," how to pick up nonverbal cues and to anticipate what might occur BEFORE it occurs so that I can change the behavior or let it happen, depending on the situation. And to praise your dog for all things good. These invaluable lessons are the key for a healthy and happy relationship with your dog.

has remained my friend for more than 20 years and he is always there for advice or to just say hi. He has earned numerous high level awards in Schutzhund/IPO, and has trained and worked bomb detection dogs. He is able to train all levels of people and their dogs, from basic good manners to top level competition. is trustworthy, fair and will give you his honest opinion. gets an A+ in my book.

You can't go wrong at !

I have 9 dogs including 2 German Shepherds. My son passed away recently and I needed to take a trip away from home. I couldn't take all the dogs with me and I had to board some of them. I was in a desperate situation. The 2 Shepherds were aggressive to anyone other than family and I needed to leave them at the kennel. ...More came out twice and performed miracles! The first day he just spent some time with them in the yard. He wasn't afraid of them at all and he understood their behavior and what to do about it. The next day he came and picked them up to take them around other dogs and people. They even went to the dog park. I couldn't believe it. He is the best and is one of the few trainers who can help aggressive dogs. He made such a difference, more than I imagined. They did fine at the kennel, I couldn't have hoped for any better outcome. He stops by to check on them now that I'm back home and I'm going to hire him again to train some of the nuisance behavior problems with my small dogs. I just can't say enough about how good is at what he does. Please give him a call, no matter the age of the dog or the problem they're having, he can help. I know a lot animals wouldn't end up at the shelter if people would at least try his training first. Worth every penny!

Sybol and her team from have been working with my dogs now for 3 years and I can't say enough good things about her and the service provided! She cares for your pets like you do!! She and her staff are reliable (NEVER had a cancellation) and also accommodate me when I have had last minute changes ...More or additions to my usual schedule. A couple years back my husband and I actually had an issue getting back from vacation and one call to and she put on her Super Girl doggie cape and swooped in to get my puppy and kept her with her until we were able to get home. I always know my pets are safe and well cared for! I highly recommend these services for dog walks, pet sitting and even training! All I have to do is discuss some of the issues I may be having and works out a plan to assist with correcting behavior. You also get pictures and text messages when services are provided which is always nice to see/know especially if you are away on vacation. :)

It's great. He gets to see a familiar face and burn off some energy on these AM walks. Since is a retriever and loves to play ball, after 20 minutes they return and play ball in our back yard. It's the best of both for him.

is very knowledgeable and caring. She has a great ...More personality for humans and canines, and genuinely loves the work she does. I am so glad I "found" her, and would gladly recommend her to anyone who needs dog walking services.

It went very well! This is my 3rd dog and we decided to formally train this dog so we could do more activities with him outside of the home. The class was every Saturday for 6 weeks for 90 minutes. is the trainer and I could tell that he was very experienced and knowledgeable. There was a lot of information to cover and I am ...More still using his book to continue my training with my puppy. If my continued training doesn't produce the result I want, I will definitely sign up for his novice class in January. You definitely have to do your homework and I will admit I didn't do enough of it during the training period. That is all on me. I would highly recommend this class if you have a puppy.

I was anxious to start training my rescue dog soon after he arrived, as I didn't want to establish any bad habits. I got a referral to from someone at a breed rescue group, so figured it would be a good match. At the first session, after the initial interview and evaluation, handed me an agreement ...More for the "Foundation Work Program", consisting of 8 private lessons. I signed and paid her in advance.
cancelled the next two training sessions, then arrived over 25 minutes late for the next . When she failed to show up, without any notice or explanation, for the next session, it was clear I was not getting the service I had paid for, and was concerned about the lack of consistency for my dog. I sent the trainer an email expressing my disappointed and detailing the poor record of service, asking for a refund for the balance of the training sessions. I've heard nothing from her since!
I really can't evaluate her capability as a trainer, as she didn't show up enough to know! The lack of professionalism, however, is a clear warning to avoid this provider.

has been nothing but helpful. He's been fantastic not only with relaying information to us but with commanding attention and results from our puppy. we've seen a big difference from day one to now with our puppy since starting training. makes you feel comfortable to ask any questions and answers ...More in a timely manner. His job isn't done when he leaves you either ! He asks for open communication and updates on progress which allows you to run ideas by him. Not only does he achieve results but he's cost effective too. And he caters to what you want to get out of training not just the basics (sit, down, come). Overall, would recommend him to friends and family and especially use him in the future myself.
