Window Replacement Reviews in Warrington

Overall, this experience went well. The provider was prompt in calling to schedule, they confirmed the night before, and they arrived as promised. It was a two-man crew. I only interacted directly with one, and he was very polite and helpful.

Powerwashing: Fantastic job on this. When they finished, our house (which is all siding) was shining like new! I still smile every time I pull up and see it! Should have had this done ages ago. They really did a great job and I would definitely use them again for this.
Windows Washing: Here is where I hesitate to give a totally glowing review. Now, it's important that I note this was the first time we'd EVER hired professional window washers. I am not sure if we should have had all the screens out prior to their arrival. We did not do that, so as part of the service, one of the guys went through on his own and took out our screens. I was appreciative of that. When they were finished--and the windows were gleaming (again, great job on that!)--I went around the first floor and helped him put the screens back in. After all was said and done, I had two issues with the windows and, more specifically, the screens:
1) While replacing a screen in the living room, I noticed that a silk drape had a substantial rip in it--right where the tilt-in window would have hit it during screen removal. IT MAY HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE. I am not accusing this provider of damaging it...But I will never be sure when the rip occurred, and it's not something easily repaired. (Our drapes in the living and dining rooms were about $6,000 in 2006--not something I ever planned to replace.)
2) In replacing one of the screens in our study, the provider and I inadvertently put the screen in the wrong track. As a result, the window was jammed shut. My husband ended up having to put a hole in the screen in order to fix it. So, it was a frustrating "one step forward, two steps back" situation.
All in all -- these are good guys who do a good job. I understand that things happen, but I probably wouldn't bring them back for window cleaning.

They kept the work area organized and clean throughout the project. Before installing the laminate he prepared the subfloor by pulling carpet stables / pieces of left over padding and securing the sub floor where needed with screws. Once they had the laminate flooring in place they used sliders under the feet of the appliances to move them so they wouldn't damage the new flooring. They placed plastic sheets under the saw used to cut the laminate to control the dust. I had a bunch of my tools in the apartment as well and they neatly placed them out of the way.
stayed in phone contact as needed to let me know project status and to coordinate the purchase of any material required for the job.
actually picked up some of the material for me to save my time running around to grab stuff. He disassembled the double hung vinyl window so I was able to take just the glass to a local repair shop to have new glass installed which is cheaper than taking the entire sash. After he touched up the drywall with joint compound / sanding he vacuumed up the dust.
is very good at listening and remembering the list of tasks to be accomplished. The good thing is that he has sufficient knowledge / experience to be able to take a brief task description and complete it with an eye for detail without you having to follow up and perform quality assurance on his work. Also, he provides useful tips / hints to make the job go even more smoothly. I had a bathtub with a couple of rust spots around the drain and he recommended touching up the paint versus replacing it due to the amount of effort required to remove the tub.
My only suggestion to
would be to provide receipts for any items purchased to the property owner for tax purposes.
