"We are very happy and please with
and his crew work. I absolutely love my kitchen now. I was extremely worries that I would be able to tell" that cabinets were painted, but no one can't, everyone is surprised when we tell them.
was very responsive, gave good suggestions and very patient with me. I tend to be the worry kind so I asked a lot of questions. His crew was very patient with my mother present in the house, who spoke limited english and insisted on supervising the guys, despite that they were very patient.Thank you
! I already had few neighbors asking me about you :).

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his partner did a great job. They came in measured each room, spliced where needed. I would highly recommend them on your crown molding jobs.

I met Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
through a family member of his while he was visiting in New Orleans for the holidays. Initial meeting was a free estimate. I explained my desires with Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and he was able to give advice on the best way to meet my desires. During the consultation I asked about some minor work on a door and door frame, and he was patient in understanding exactly what I wanted him to do, then he thoroughly explained what he could do for the minor repairs to the door and frame. Once it was clear exactly what needed to be accomplished he provided a bill with explanation as how, when and what type of payment is needed so he could proceed. Before during and after, Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
conducted himself in a professional manner, and was clean and confined to his working space. Upon completion Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
provided me with some extra business cards and also explained other services he provides like restoration, additions etc. He did a wonderful job and I absolutely love and enjoy my rooms. Whenever my friends need work or if the need should arrive again that I need a painter or repair man

I will add two caveats as fyi.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
does not do a lot of the work himself, he sends a team. At the end of the project, we really pushed them the finish on time and I think the end of the job was rushed (the details in the painting etc.) However, a week later

We are very happy with the stairs. Please see therefore and after pictures, I think the quality of the work is evident.
Highly recommend.

State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his team did an excellent job. He had to climb up very high on my house and then work up there. He redesigned how the rain water would flow and then replaced all of the rotted wood and then painted it. He did a fantastic job. I have subsequently hired him to do work on my rental property which turned out A+ as well.

and team were excellent.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was awesome to work with. He gave us a full bid upfront. His bid was accurate and fair. There were no
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
charges or surprise fees. We knew exactly what he was going to do and what we were paying for. His work was excellent and on time. He communicated well, kept us informed and was genuinely awesome to work with. He showed so much respect for our home while working on it. He gave us great advice while encouraging us to make our own decisions. We cannot say enough good things about how well our project went with
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. It started in Sept 13 and was completed in Feb. 14. Just about the time frame he said it would be. It turned out fabulous.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is very professional, experienced and extremely customer oriented. He is smart and very fair. I would have no reservations recommending him to anyone.
- Shelly S.

The work started and ended on time. It took exactly one month. I was out of the country during the entire demolition and remodel. I waited a couple of months to write this review to be able to ascertain how everything worked in the bathroom. Everything works wonderfully. I now have a bathroom that is better than that which you find in a five star hotel. His advice about the shower
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was important to follow. Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
wants to do high quality work and knows when the type of materials used makes a difference in the quality of the end product. He persuaded me away from using a cheap acrylic shower
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. I am very glad that I paid the extra money to have a proper shower
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
design installed. I would recommend meeting with all of the sub-contractors he uses and assembling all of their estimates and ask lots of questions before making your final decision on the project. There were two outside sub-contractors that I used. Although he recommended me to a very classy and well run granite counter top company, they did not happen to have the particular color palate I wanted. Since time was of the essence, I used another highly rated granite supplier for the job. I also used a highly rated (Angie's List) mirror and shower door contractor. Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
worked well wtih them to keep the project on schedule. The workmanship on the vanity by Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was of such high quality. I took his word for it when I authorized it. After it was installed, I visited a kitchen place and opened and closed drawers and doors and looked at the construction. Mr.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
's work was far superior to what the kitchen place had to offer.

They got back to me and told me they were too busy to take on my project. Being in the service industry and dealing with contractors every day for the past 20 years, I can probably count on one hand the number of people that turn down work they don't have time for. Most of them will take it and try to sub it out. That is where your quality/scheduling problems start.
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
should be commended for not doing my job.
- Jason T.

They did excellent work from day one to the finish. They worked tirelessly in all kinds of weather and were meticulous-sturdy framing, trim work, painting, electrical, down to final scuff
State College Carpenters Provider Name Locked
