Business Description: Specialties Rescue Rittenhouse Spa, Philadelphia's top luxury day spa, offers an extraordinary and unparalleled program of skin care, using natural and botanical products alongside the latest in modern technology. Rescue blends the types of services typically found at a dermatologist with the pampering of a world class spa. A Rescue facial with one of our specially trained estheticians includes a thorough diagnosis of your skin, an analysis of your lifestyle and its effects on your skin, plus an entirely customized plan for a complete at-home skin regimen. We also offer an extensive array of body treatments, massages, manicures and pedicures, plus specialized skin therapies like micro-current facials, micro-dermabrasion, and Lumicell touch. The 4,000-square-foot spa features six treatment rooms, a nail lounge, steam rooms, and a rejuvenating tea bar. Plush white sofas, elegant chandeliers, and honeyed wood floors create a tranquil environment. History Established in 2004 In 2004 Danuta opened Rescue Rittenhouse Spa in the elegant Rittenhouse Square district of Philadelphia. Treatments at Rescue are based on Danuta's results-oriented approach to skin care, culled from over a decade of experience perfecting her esthetic techniques at New York's most exclusive and world-renowned spas. Danuta's facials--and all services at Rescue--are highly personalized, comprehensive, and completely customized to the client's needs. She is fascinated by the potential for non-surgical transformation and enhancement of the face and has developed several breakthrough treatments, including her signature "Bio-Lift Facial," which incorporates non-invasive electrical currents and custom-blended serums. Already a leader in the field, Danuta continues to educate herself, constantly searching out the latest technology for perfecting skin. These traits have won Danuta many accolades including Best Day Spa and Best Urban Spa in Philadelphia Magazine. Meet the Business Owner: Danuta M. Danuta Mieloch is an accomplished esthetician and a trained nurse with a remarkable passion for skin care. Danuta's strengths as an esthetician are not simply clinical. She has an intuitive ability to read her client's complexion and decide what factors are affecting the condition of the skin. This sensitivity, combined with her considerable skill and expertise, create impressive results that have won her a devoted following. In addition to her nursing training, Danuta traveled to Paris to study with the innovator Dr. Yvan Allouche, creator of the revolutionary Biologique Recherche product line, whose philosophy on skin care helped inspire her own. In 1994, she moved to New York City, where she further enhanced her education and received accreditation from Atelier Esthetique and the Dermal Institute of New York.
