"If you need/want a procedure done I absolutely recommend
Young. She is an extremely caring doctor who invests herself in each patient. " I thoroughly research my doctors. Prior to choosing Dr
I heard only great things about her. She is a Christian doctor which gave me additional peace. She will pray for you before surgery if you so choose. I had three c-sections which really shot my lower stomach. Exercise will not fix that damage. For my 50th birthday I told my husband 'you broke it you fix it'. Dr
will give you a healthy look. Before my surgery I wouldn't let my husband anywhere near
stomach. I now love my stomach and shall appreciate the rest of my life. I know she doesn't just do 'pretty' surgeries. She also does reconstructive surgeries. She has a staff of loving, caring, funny women. They are all very compassionate. Dr
has done procedures on most of her staff so they know what you are going through. Do not hesitate. Dr
is the real deal.

"I've used him for 16 years now. He's moved into a smaller area, I guess a smaller department so it's difficult with the amount of room he has, but he's still very attentive.

The benefit is not in "choosing" a provider that is listed on AL - it is in using AL to screen potential providers before choosing one by looking at their ratings and reading the reviews prior customers havae posted, so you get a preview up-front of what people like or dislike about them. You can also google the doctors names combined with the word - complaints - to see other blogs and comments about specific doctors - there are also a few medical-specific review sites out there. In dealing with a specialist like a neurologist, your regular general medical provider can also provide recommendations. And be sure if your insurance company requires it (almost a certainty) that you have a referral from your general doctor AND insurance company pre-approval IN ADVANCE of the first visit if you want his/her services to be covered by your insurance.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
. He is a compassionate physician who takes his work very serious but still interacted with me with a caring spirit. My surgical outcome was great. My stay at Kennestone Hospital from pre-op to discharge 30 hours after surgery exceeded my expectations. I definitely would recommend Dr
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
and Kennestone Hospital to all my family and friends.

He ran tests and told me there were no other options but surgery. I went ahead and had that done with the promise that I would be fine in 4 weeks. The day after the surgery, another doctor came in to see me. Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
only called me to see how I was doing. One week after he had me come into the office. He asked me how I was doing and I told him I was in a lot of pain which was why I was using a cane. I complained about incontinence problems to him as well and he said I needed to see a urologist. He told me not to use the cane because he did not like that. He said he did not have anything to do with the pain in my knee and told me to see someone else about the knee. He recommended I go to pain management for an epidural. I question this as why did he offer this option now and did not offer it before surgery? The other doctor I went to said I had tendinitis and said the back procedure had my knees bent and there could have created pressure on the knees.

This visit was to look at another MRI to see if there was a problem that needed him. The appointment went fine and he determined that no action was needed at that time.

Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
was amazing throughout my ordeal with a herniated disc. He examined my MRI images on the evening that I went to the emergency room on Thursday, December 4, and he identified a herniated thoracic disc immediately. During the office visit on the next Monday he showed me the problem and clearly explained the surgery options and risks. We decided to go with the option that would give him the best access to get the disc off the spinal nerves and to put in a small titanium plate to keep the disc in place. A couple of days later I let him know how urgently I needed surgery since I had a lot of trouble walking. He had compassion for me and sent me an email early Thursday morning to let me know that he would make it happen. His office arranged the surgery schedule for Friday morning with a thoracic surgeon who would provide access to the spinal cord. Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
and the thoracic surgeon worked very well together, and the thoracic surgeon would later tell me how impressed he was by the skill of Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
. By getting the disc off the spinal nerves as soon as Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
did, I believe he prevented more damage to the nerves and allowed me to have a quicker recovery. Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
and his assistants visited me over several days in the hospital room to check on me and to give me instructions. I was very fortunate to have Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
as my surgeon.

Please see above - my cyst ended up growing back due to an injury at home, so I'm having it removed again soon, but I am confident that he will have me back to my old self in no time at all. I cannot say enough good things about Dr.
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
, his staff, and the whole practice at
Mt. Pleasant Neurosurgeons Provider Name Locked
. Patients are not "numbers" to them, they're real people with real families and real problems. I have always felt like the goal is the well-being of the whole person, not just the "surgical problem," and that is how I've always been treated by every single person in that office.
