He participated in cancer research, and is the co-author of several papers on oral cancer diagnosis. Dr. Meyers holds Board Certification in three areas: in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, in Dental Anesthesiology from the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and In Pain Management from the American Academy of Pain Management For more than a decade, he has served as Chief of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry for the Pinnacle Health System and as adjunct faculty in the Dental Hygiene program at Harrisburg Area Community College, where he teaches Oral Pathology & Pharmacology.
