I was pleased with the work. The price was excellent, they did a great job and the workers were friendly and took pride in their work.

I received three estimates for a new concrete apron and drainage system along my garage. I was getting some water in the basement and wanted to make sure that water was diverted away from my house. I went with
because his idea for diverting the water seemed the most thorough and his price was reasonable. His crew arrived early each day, worked hard and cleaned after each day's work was completed. They were very friendly and answered any questions that we had. They manually dug around half of the house (along the side and along the back) since my house is on a slope, to ensure that the drain pipe would take the water far enough away from the house and would not create any future issues at a different spot around my house. I really appreciated the manual digging because it really help prevent additional landscaping costs and it kept the backyard in good shape. I think most contractors would have used a machine for the digging. They were very careful to work around our mature plants. They set and laid several hundred feet of piping around the house. They also poured a concrete apron with a catch basin system which also connected to my gutters. All of the water now drains to the far side of our property away from my foundation and basement area. The work was done about a year ago and I can report that, so far so good. We had a really tough winter with a lot of snow, ice and then excessive melting. We had no water issues down our basement where we did have water problems last year. I think this solution did the trick and I know the workmanship was first class. The appearance of the hand finished concrete apron is so much nicer than the plain blacktop that we had before. I would definitely recommend
and his crew for any type of concrete or masonry work. He gave us an estimate in a good amount of time. It was a little difficult to get a hold of him before the job started. But he was also responsive and was on our job the whole time, which made us feel good.
was very particular and really watched over the job to make sure that everything was put back in its place and clean.

came out to take a look at our stamped concrete patio and submitted an estimate on 3/18. We hired him partially because of the 10 year warranty he offers, even though he was not our lowest quote. He came out and completed the project which initially looked fine so I foolishly paid in full. He said as it dried and cured that it would become "blotchy" and to give it a couple of days. So when it became blotchy, I wasn't immediately concerned. Once a week passed, I contacted him and he came back, took a look and said it just needed to be re-sealed. He re-sealed it and it did not help. So he re-sealed it again and assured both my husband and me that he would do whatever it took to make this project correct. He had always been very responsive and very professional up until that point. Since the patio needed to be completed when it was dry outside, I wasn't surprised when I didn't hear from him after all the rain we've had. However, now I have called 4 times and emailed countless time and cannot get a response at all. This is a real departure and I am beside myself that the patio looks worse than it did when he started and I am out $1500.

came over on sunday and had the quote to me that evening, itemized by each area (I was not sure I would do it all at once) by both price and time to complete. I was able to approve the whole set of repairs. He was able to start in a few days and had a small crew of energetic and cheerful guys who started on the basement.
The basement walls were cleaned, all the failing wallcoat was taken off and then prepped and new rough coat was applied. It took a couple of days to do this - they had to work around the pipes and electrical wires running across the basement ceiling. They disconnected the washer, dryer and utility sink and later reconnected them after doing the work on the floor. The chimney stacks and part of the fireplace stonework were done on one day and the outside chimney repair and the rest of the fireplace stonework (tuckpointing) was done on the last day.
We spoke daily at the beginning and end of the day about the work - what was going to be done, what had been done, next steps for tomorrow, etc. They were easy to talk to and clearly informed on the codes for work and the options for coating, tuckpointing, etc. They kept the workspace clean at the end of each day and wiped down the stairs after they worked on the attic chimney stacks. They are a very 'can do' group - they shoveled the walkway when it was snowing one morning when they got to the house - and helped move furniture and the appliances (washer/dryer).
I felt the job was done very well with excellent workmanship and with the crew working steadily each day got a tremendous amount done in just one working week.
