The techs were punctual and polite. As they left they presented me with a bill that was $30 more than had been quoted. I called the office and they amended it to the original $125.
Would hire again.
Yesterday I had a second crew come out. No one clearly explained to them the job that needed to be done so once again I had to go through the whole thing chapter and verse and try to remember exactly what the manager said needed to be changed since he did not attend the install. Immediately I was told some of my recessed lights were "inaccessible" and could not be covered. Since I was promised they'd all be covered I asked the crew to call their manager and explain the situation. Why it even had to get to that point yet again I don't know considering they were specifically there to address every single light. After that they took the extra time to measure and find the lights under the decking and cut into the decking and cover them so FINALLY all the lights got covered. They also cleaned up the FSK and added a better solution in terms of insulating the cathedral ceiling in my bedroom. Most importantly they finally ran 2 blower door tests--one at the beginning and one at the end. There was a difference in energy efficiency but of course I can never go back in time to before the initial work was done to see exactly the difference made.
My time and energy was totally wasted during this entire process, most of the work could have been done during the first visit (at that point the weather was too inclement to install the roof vent--but literally that only took about 1 hour once they were able to get on the roof) and I had to have 2 manager visits out here--first to assess the way the work was done improperly and then they're coming back out tomorrow to make sure this work is actually done right. What also scares me is that this sub-par work done during my first install visit would have just stood, no one would have proactively made things right for me except that I complained and it took complaining to several different people to even get that far.
Additionally I've spoken to several people who've been able to get the same work done for about 1/2 the price using other contractors, so even price-wise they're far from competitive.

(We paid him a little extra for his helpful willingness on the first call to put his ladder back up to trim a tall bush overhanging one of the two gutter downspouts unclogged for us quickly after checking all and referring us to plumbing for repair of downspout ends' various configurations.)
The only negative was I originally contacted C&C through their website, got an email confirming they got my message, but then I never heard back. I did call them a week or so later and they said they were having problems with their website. Another roofer I contacted, same thing. Bottom line is I would always call in the future and not bother with website contacts. I don't think the companies should even have them if they're not 100% reliable as they're liable to
