"From start to finish, this was an extremely positive experience. I interviewed representatives from four different solar companies prior to contacting
. Cosmic's" low pressure, highly professional approach to the sales process was educational and reassuring. This is a very well run family business and the owner, Bahram, is a highly knowledgeable engineer. His son,
, supervises the installation process and was on the job site every day. Every time commitment was met, every question and concern was addressed promptly and there were no additional or
costs associated with the project. The system is now up and running and producing as promised.

"Overall, it went well. In January and February, we worked on putting together a design which would qualify for the State of Minnesota Solar Incentive. In April, after my proposal" was selected by the State,
Creek Energy placed the order with the Solar Array manufacturer and we finalized the design. This included adding in a new service panel and EVSE for my
. When the Solar Array manufacturer delivered the equipment,
promptly went on installing it in
, which took 3 days to complete. My concern, when they did the install, is that the people doing the install had a number of questions which I believe
should have had answered before they came, and this took up the first part of the 1st day. They also seemed to struggle with how to handle some of the more complex runs of wires as well. Once we worked through those issues, they went ahead and did the installation. However, they had to come back the next week to finish some "touch-up" work as they missed installing the end-caps on the rails. After the Solar Array was installed,
got the electrical inspector out and finished the inspection.
and I then spent the next 8 weeks working with my electrical company for the interconnection and meters. This is where they seemed to struggle the most, as the electrical company (which they have worked with before) seemed to have a new set of requirements for the paperwork. That whole process took 7 weeks. Once that was completed, and I signed all the paperwork,
met with my electrical company for the installation of the meter, which went well. They are now finalizing the paperwork with the State of Minnesota Solar Incentive program.

"Very, very impressive! Solar City covered the cost of installations, permits, and required modifications (our town inspector required installation of an earthquake shut-off valve on" the gas line). They also took out a $2 million insurance policy on our roof before work began. Solar City owns the panels and sells power to us. They maintain the system. We entered a 20-year power purchasing agreement. The cost of power increases 3% per year, which should work out to less than PG&E increases rates over the same period. The installation was outstanding! Solar City doesn't use subcontractors like other utilities and service providers. Everyone who worked on the job was a Solar City employee! That meant a lot to me because I care about doing business with companies that treat their employees well and generate good paying jobs. When I call with a question, I don't get a call center in India or the Philippines; I get a real Solar City employee who knows what they are talking about. The install exceeded my expectation in every way! Since I live in a one-level house, there is no conduit on the exterior of my home. The conduit runs through the top of my garage into the attic and through the roof. The foreman said it was more work for them but he wanted it to be as clean as possible. Believe me it is! SC even gave me a home owner association kit to help expedite approval from the architecture committee. Because of my roof design and trees in my front yard, the panels are not visible from the street. Only one neighbor can see them, so I didn't bother dealing with the association at all. It's been about 3 weeks since we flipped the switch. Most days, we send more power to the grid than we actually get from the grid. We will see how things play out with the short days of winter coming. Either way, I pay Solar City the same price as set forth in the Power purchase agreement. The unknown is how much power I will purchase from PG&E if any. It feels great knowing our home is now part of America's clean energy solution and I don't need to worry about ever-skyrocketing rates from PG&E. What if we move, you ask? Three options: a) For $1000 fee, the system goes with me to our new home; b) the home buyer takes over my PPA (which becomes more attractive cost wise with time); or c) The home buyer pays for the balance of the PPA in the real estate transaction. Any of the three options will be fine with me!

They were extremely knowledgeable and informative. Unlike the other company we had provide us with an estimate, they were much more interested in our energy use and developing a quote for the best system to meet our needs. They were also unique in that they were much more concerned about the aesthetics of their work to make sure that we did not come into conflict with

rules and that the project would minimize the impact on any neighbor views.

We just had a successful city inspection of our new roof solar installation. The entire installation went very smooth. As soon as the workers arrived, the lead installer (
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
) gave me a thorough orientation of the entire process, and answered all questions I had about options I had for placement of the inverters and conduit runs. All employees were extremely courteous and were careful of our property. Our

Consultant,

Casarotte (mcasarotte@

Anytime we had any questions or concerns, she immediately provided us with the answers. Since we wanted the appearance of the solar system to look as uncluttered and tidy as possible, she made sure the final design incorporated a pleasing module arrangement and that all conduit would be almost entirely

was very reliable and accessible throughout the entire process, even in contacting the work schedulers to confirm all installation times for us. She was our central point-of-contact at

was a great company to work with. From my initial contact through the end of the job, they were very responsive. We had existing solar panels on our home. We wanted to add to the current array and add an additional array in a new location. When the installers arrived, they noticed that the shade from our neighbors house was stopping solar production earlier than it should on the existing array. The original company had not wired the system in the most efficient manner. The
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
installers rewired the existing system (at no extra charge) and added on to the system. They also added another array on a different section of our roof. The difference was clear from our first electric bill. Our summer bills did not exceed $20! The installers addressed all our questions and responded to any concerns we had. We highly recommend

Going solar can take some time. I initially leased the system (through an energy company in CA) in the fall of 2013, but after design estimates were finalized, the project was put on hold while waiting for some higher-capacity panels to arrive, that were available in limited quantities.
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
finally re-designed the layout on the roof and came within 90% of their initial estimate of power provided by the solar facility. This allowed us to move into the installation phase in summer 2014, but boy was it worth the wait.
The lease with Sunrun (company in CA) is 20 years. They handle insurance and maintenance on the solar facility for the duration of the term. Taking today's [BGE] rates into consideration, the facility will pay for itself in just 8 years of the 20-year lease, with another 12 years of "free" energy after that, all guaranteed and maintained by Sunrun (
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
is just the installer in the arrangement). Instead of sending a check to BGE, I now send a check to the credit company who financed the project. My BGE bill since project completion: $0. It's really a no-brainer.
When you initially call
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
, they will do a study on your address, then come to your house and give you a presentation, including lease options, option to buy, and how much money you can expect to save over the life of the lease and/or solar panels based on their rough research. Everyone I met in the company was very helpful...you just have to remain patient. They even have a section of the company who will redo your roof if you need it, and roll the cost into your financing for the project.
The only downside to the lease option is that you have to pay for it up front. I had a large system installed, so my total due at project completion is probably higher than average. Buying the system outright is not economical in any way I could tell.
Make the call...listen to the presentation...and do the math yourself.
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
is a reputable company that will help you realize your dreams of making this planet a better place...or at least rely a little less on the power companies.

The house had been empty for a few years and the water inlet valve to the roof top solar heating unit for the pool had been plugged off. The house had a history of rodents in the attic so I was also thinking the solar unit had been chewed up and no longer useful. I informed the company of this when I called for service so they could bring a new unit to replace the existing one.
The employee came and inspected the unit, repaired the pipes for the inlet to the unit and one small leak. The total charge was 106.00. He could have very easily replaced the unit and charged me 5 or 6 hundred dollars. I respect his integrity and professional
attitude. He informed me that the unit still had a few years left of serviceable life.
I will use them again.

Sales and proposals - Customer sales efforts are top notch. The technical information provided with the proposal is superior to any of the other proposals that I received. Admittedly, I'm a geek and an IEEE member. For the NVEnergy usage information that I supplied, there was no oversell or cutting corners. I checked all the proposals received using the Dept of Energy modeling software (this SW pointed out that other vendors' proposals were using smaller microinverters (215W) for the 250W solar panels). The DoE model calculations for your system, were comparable to model and financials that
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
had provided in their very detailed proposal. After several months of operation, my new net meter confirms that 6 KW system was the right size. We are almost net-zero, even during the hot summer months.
Commencement of project - The site survey was timely.
Pre-installation communications and timing- There was an expectation that it would take some time doing the engineering drawing and submit them to
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
County and NVEnergy and it appears that this was timely done. We received and returned our part of the application soon after the site survey. Then, there was silence! The date for installation seemed to be only set after I called several times; and Magically, the installation could be done "the next day or two."
When I called to verify the installation, it was discovered that the temporary disconnect/reconnect had not been scheduled, although the plan clearly indicated upgrading the 150A panel. However, they recovered from this problem faster than I anticipated.
Installation Scheduling and Sizing --
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
was excellent in scheduling the installation around my availability. The original schedule estimated that the panels, wiring and preparation for the new load center would happen the first day and the installation of the panels, wiring the 4 house circuits and preparation would happen on the first day.The TDR and the new load center would be finished on the second day.In reality, the wiring wasn't done on the first day and was completed on the third day.
Quality of the Installation -- That said, the quality of the installation is outstanding. If prospects need to see what a
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
installation looks like, I will gladly be a reference site. After installation they provide an extensive documentation package including the engineering drawings and permits.
Post-sale Service --
Jeannette Solar Panel Installers Provider Name Locked
has been very responsive, e.g., fixing the 24th microinverter and stuccoing the hole above the new load center. They were able to fix the microinverter issue over the net, without an on-site service call.
