at my house concerning renovation work over a year ago.
was on time and had a nice presentation and both he and his father are quite ...more professional.
followed up with me over a period of several months and even was willing to make suggestions and answer some questions about building products without
even being under contract with me. This was extremely impressive to me seeing that due to their reputation
is probably never slow with their workload and that many other contractors do not even return phone calls much less keep in touch with prospective clients.
has an interior design and architectural design team on staff that can provide full finish selection, construction documentation, and 3D CAD renderings and they even publish a periodic newsletter with articles on their latest projects and house renovation issues. Unfortunately, the scope of my project was reduced due to my budget to the point that I did not feel I needed to engage a design build company such as
. However, based on my experience I would not hesitate to recommend
to anyone in need of the services of a residential design build company. "

"I hate to give people bad ratings, but unfortunately, this company committed to coming out on 9/7 but never told me what time, and never answered my inquiries as to when I should expect them. Subsequently they never showed up and I had to find someone ...more else. I see that someone else gave a bad rating for a similar problem. Perhaps the contractor had a vacation, or some other reason for lack of communication. That said, it's more professional to just share that with potential customers rather than ignore them and leave them hanging. "

Glenside Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Reviews
Buiders team came to my rescue. With their expertise and craftsmanship they beautifully remodeled my master bathroom, and expertly repaired water damage to my front hall closet caused by the water leaking from the upstairs bath. They greatly improved my house and life in just three incredible weeks!! Thankfully, ...more I chose
to take on my bathroom remodeling project that I had been putting off for years.
My colonial house was built in 1940, with only one full bath. Last April, when the original shower tile began to detriorate and water leaked into my downstairs hall closet, I was faced with quickly finding a reliable plumber/contractor to take care of the bath and hallway. I got estimates from other reputable plumbers and contractors, but no one compared to
in design, affordability and communication. From his initial consultation,
listened to my ideas and concerns about the bathroom project, including cost and time factors (I wanted completion as quickly as possible).
clearly explained about the various stages of
project evolution -communication being the key in developing the job concept, design and the all-important budget.
said he and the
team would work with me throughout the project to make sure it would be the best experience I could possible have with a home improvement project. He was absolutely right--
met or exceeded my expectations every step of the way.
In the next few weeks I met the entire
team, who would be working on the project either in the house or behind the scenes. I had a wonderful comfort level and confidence in
, not only because of their great reputation, but the courtesy and professional manner in which they addressed my ideas and concerns. After two consultations, I committed to
to do the job. The schedule for the project was literally charted by
's project manager,
, including his weekly meetings to cover any questions or problems that may arise and payment schedules.
With the creative guidance of
, one of
's talented interior decorators, we started the design and selection of bathroom fixtures process.
was amazing--I felt like I was shopping with my best friend. Not only was she was intuitive about my design tastes, but she was creative and professional. She really took a personal interest in my project expectations and budget. Once the selections were made, we had more meetings to discuss details with other team members and final conceptual plans created. As with all of
's clients, I even got my own personal
Project notebook with before photos and products used, skematics and project schedule.

I am very glad that I chose
. They gave my tired, old, leaky bathroom a beautiful new up-to-date appearance wtth a spa-like atmosphere! And, in doing so they have made my life better. I am so happy with the results that I would do it all again!! Through
's excellence in communication, trustworthiness and craftsmanship,

, I believe, and told him that my wife and I were looking to have our bathroom remodeled. He was very upfront that he was booked for 2-3 months and wouldn't be able to start the project until then. I appreciate his honestly and being up front on a realistic time frame."
is a joke, the owner and sole employee does half decent work that he over charges for and takes longer then expected on. I hired him to work on my home and projects came out half done and over promised, he was not able to complete many of the tasks to my satisfaction and went weeks over due. We started working with one price ...more and they changed over time, as well as he would originally bill by his hours worked but would leave for personal errands and take personal calls while "still on the clock." The service then changed to per job where he found extra charges and tried to double bill me for services previously rendered. The real kicker is that he was caught red handed talking with one of my friends about me in my own home, talking about how I couldn't afford him and that I was a horrible person to have worked for. Hew was in my house talking bad about his client. Bottom line is if you want someone who is slow, overpriced and lacks business ethics then you can contract
and his 2 workers did all the plumbing, electrical, tiling and painting and installed the toilet, sink and all fixtures in the half bath. We are very pleased with the half bath and have received many compliments on it. I picked out all the supplies at Lowe's, with some advice and guidance from
, ...more and he picked them up and brought them to the house on the first day. He was always present on the job, his crew worked quickly and cleaned-up during and at the end of the project. He is very responsive and friendly but also professional, and he stuck to his quotes, which were very reasonable. He gave me a couple quotes on projects we may have him do in the future and we would not hesitate to use him again for any type of generalized repair or remodeling work. He was a pleasure to work with, which you cannot say about most contractors."
V. Lignore Sr. started off on the right track, it turned out to be an unbelievably horrendous and emotionally disturbing project that we wouldn?t wish on anyone. We, like any other homeowner, expect the best from our contractors and this man failed our expectations by far. He was very difficult ...more to correspond with, leaving us no choice but to email, text, and phone an abundance of times, and he allowed the project to go on a month after its expected completion date before finally LEAVING us with broken contracts and unfinished projects. He left our residence with the following:
A. UNFINISHED KITCHEN CABINETRY THAT HAD NO DOORS, TRACKS OR SHELVES INSTALLED.
B. DANGEROUSLY EXPOSED WIRING.
C. DETACHED KITCHEN PLUMBING AND NO WORKING SINK WATER; IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING OUR SINK, HE DISCARDED PARTS FOR THE SINK DISPOSAL, REQUIRING THE PURCHASE OF A NEW ONE.
D: UNFINISHED KITCHEN BASEBOARDS, EVEN AFTER A NUMBER OF REQUESTS TO FIX THEM AND CORRECT THEIR ELECTRICAL OUTLETS.
E. TWO UNCAPPED KITCHEN WINDOWS WITH THE WOOD EXPOSED TO THE RAIN AND ELEMENTS. ONE WINDOW REQUIRED THE MANUFACTURER TO COME OUT AND FIX IT SO IT WOULD WORK PROPERLY.
F. LARGE AREAS OF UNPOURED CONCRETE SLABS LEAVING US TO PRECARIOUSLY WALK OVER WOODEN FREAMES AND STONE BASES. ONE WAS A WALKWAY 20 FEET LONG LEADING TO THE STREET, AND THE OTHER A 13' X 6' AREA OF A PATIO.
G. NOTHING BUT AN UNSTABLE STAIRCASE LEADING TO THE MAIN HOUSE ENTRANCE BECAUSE THE DECK HAD BEEN REMOVED AND NOT REPLACED AS PER CONTRACT.
G. A 200 FOOT LONG X 1 FOOT WIDE STRIP OF CONCRETE THAT STRECHED DOWN THE STREET PAST THREE OF OUR NEIGHBORS? DRIVEWAYS. IT HAS PARTIALLY FADED BUT REMAINS THERE TODAY A YEAR LATER MUCH TO OUR EMBARRASSMENT. HE TRIED TO BLAME THE SUBCONTRACTOR THAT HE HAD HIRED, BUT AFTER INVESTIGATION OF THE FACTS, THE SUBCONTRACTOR WAS NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE AND LIGNORE DID NOTHING TO RECTIFY THIS AWFUL SITUATION.
In addition, he subcontracted an electrician who refused to place light switches how and where we requested them. This was later corrected by an Angie's List electrician who happily and easily corrected the problems. Lignore's electrician yelled and cursed so loudly one day when we were not home that our neighbor fearfully rushed her two toddlers back into her house. She later told us that upon seeing us return home, she feared for our welfare.
Please be aware that this kind of contractor- for-hire nightmare DOES happen. Our hope by submitting this report is that no member will ever have to go through an experience such as this one."
has our highest recommendation.
The price was the lowest we found, and they gave us just exactly what we wanted (new cabinet fronts). There was no "sales pitch" like we got with
-- just easy answers.
They went above and beyond to create innovative solutions to our tricky problems, ...more and seemed to enjoy doing so. When we noticed a small problem with the installation, the installer came back and fixed the problem right, NOT taking any shortcuts.
These folks are very easy to like. A nice touch was that we got a note that a tree was being planted in our honor. I'm sure they will do the same for you. :-) "
to remodel our kitchen and laundry room. This was a total demolition project and I must say, we were extremely happy with Mr. Lebair?s work.
His crew planned the project carefully so as to minimize the inconvenience of being without a kitchen for a period of time. They worked in ...more stages, demolishing the laundry room first and beginning on its completion before the kitchen was ever touched. I believe we were without a washer/dryer for only one day.
Since Mr. Lebair?s company makes their own cabinets, they did not begin any demolition until the cabinets were ready to go for the laundry room. Same timeline for the kitchen. We did not sit around with an empty kitchen while we waited for cabinets, appliances, or flooring to be purchased or completed.
Once this job started, there was never a day without work. From the plumber, to the electrician, to the floor company, they all worked seamlessly around each other.
?s project manager was on site each day and was always reachable by phone.
We?re picky. From a tiny nick on an
, a miniscule
on a floor plank, or a cabinet handle that was off by about 1/32 of an inch, each small detail was addressed and corrected.
was a real pleasure to work with and our remodel was complete in about six weeks!
I know we?ll call
again when we decide to move forward with other remodeling plans.
"Everything went very well except for getting the tiles on time from the company we purchased them from. The workers were pleasant, relatively neat, and cleaned up daily. We were kept in the loop and questioned about details as they went along. They were obviously concerned about satisfying the customer."
