"Pristine did an excellent job repairing and extending our driveway. We made several changes during the project and
was extremely fair with the cost and still maintained a very reasonable schedule. I would highly recommend Pristine ...more Pavers as this is the third time we have used them and we are a third time happy customer. "

"Was very responsive to our initial request, met with us to discuss promptly. provided proof of insurance, provided verbal estimate and stuck to proposal (proposal was in a text message!). The rainy weather delayed the project slightly, but we were ...more updated about delays and adjustments were made to our requests as well as the weather.
Was very neat, punctual, communicated very well about anticipated progress and provided a high value service.
I smile every time I walk on the walk! "

Be sure to review Hennepin County Court public record information,
Landscape and Remodeling has several lawsuits against them and as a result of my project and filing with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI), an enforcement action exists:
"On May 9, 2014 the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry entered into a consent order with
. Consent Order: Censure; $5,000 civil penalty with $4,000 stayed."
In addition, it is important to note,
Landscape and Remodeling withdrew from using the Better Business Bureau (BBB), largely due to the 5 complaints in the last 3 years and the complaint I filed there as well:
because of the good reviews and the initial professional demeanor by Mr.
. It is very hard to come across a professional attitude and behavior in
outlined the time and date his crew was going to show up, and what work was going to be done. ...more He even provided a proposal. Everything went very well.
The time for the contracted work started. The crew came on time and brought their equipment. Their equipment looked inadequate and some essential equipment needed to properly prune a large tree was not brought. I asked Mr.
if he has pruned a tree before, and he said yes, but I was still very concerned, since he was asking me which limbs to cut. I told him I wanted the dead limbs cut and the tree thinned out. I also told him that I wanted the branches extended over to the neighbors to be cut.
and the crew pruned the tree, but they left dead branches on the tree, and his crew did not properly thin out the tree.
cut branches that left the main branch bark stripped and part base of the cut branches left on the bigger branches. This clearly showed he didn't know how to properly prune a tree. Many clumped areas were left in the tree crown.
As far as cleaning most branches and tree limbs were picked up, but many small branches were left on the ground in many areas of the yard, since they didn't rake the areas where the limbs fell, because they didn't have a rake.
When the walls were done, they patched up the holes and some gaps, but left some holes and left excess cement on the ground. They did not clean up these areas.
I called Mr.
again to have the crew clean up the mess. They came very early and picked up a few branches, but never raked or cleaned up the cement left from their work.
I called Mr.
about the work, and told him that I was very disappointed with the lack of professional work done on my tree. I was upset that for the price I paid ($1200.00) was a ripoff in that I got a tree looking very bad and the yard not professionally cleaned up. The walls were not smoothed out nor the cement cleaned up. I told him that I did not want him back at the house again. (Since I was afraid if there was any more work done, that I would have a dead tree and my walls would look even worse.)
Now, I have to call a tree-pruning expert to fix the damage that was done to my tree, before it gets diseased.
I would not recommend this company at all, especially since they claimed to know how to prune or trim a tree, and obviously didn't know how to prune. I am unhappy with the work they did with the walls as well.
On a good note, they did show up and they did come on time. Other than that, I feel that I was severely ripped off.
P.S. I do have pictures of the work done. "
"Great, they are fast, courteous and very clean. They came back promptly when I mentioned they had missed a couple of bushes by the deck. No issues with the callback and they are dedicated to excellent customer service. It's so nice to have a local company provide a meaningful service and truly care about their customers.
"The work was done in late September 2013. Everything went well. I gave
an A rating in my review in November.
However, I am now changing my review down to a C overall with an F for responsiveness because I am having a small issue with the pavers. After all these months, every time I wash them down, a bunch of sand comes ...more up. It started out just in one area, but now there are more areas where it comes up.
On 5/15/14 I emailed
telling him of my problem. I got no response. On 5/25/14 I emailed him again advising that I was still waiting for a response to my first email. I am still waiting.
At first I didn't think too much about the sand, and that it would stop happening after a while, but after all this time, I think it is an issue. The 1 year warranty is due to expire in a couple of months and I would hate to think that they are just stalling until it does. "
"My family has been in the construction industry for 50 years and I worked it for 10. I don't think I ever met a guy with more integrity, sincerity and a willingness to help than
. I called him re: a huge paver job. We chatted on the phone for about 5 minutes before he conceded that the scope of work would put him at a ...more price disadvantage given the fuel cost (He is about 70 miles from me). He could have politely ended the call right there but he continued chatting with me giving me ideas and things to be on the lookout for....almost like a pro
consultant. He even offered to come take a look at the project himself. Knowing he only had a microscopic shot at the job he came, I believe, more to help than anything else. WHO DOES THAT? This guy is awesome. His work speaks for itself, you only need to read a few reviews to know as much. And because of that, I was an inch away from giving him the project but the additional cost compared to a local (and good contractor) was just too much to overlook. I would tell anyone that you would be lucky to have
do your next project. The guy is great, honest as the day is long and willing to help in anyway he can...... As a matter of fact, I even consulted him a few times during my project and he texted me back almost immediately each time.... think about that. A real diamond in the rough "
