"I've been seeing
for several years now. He's my regular eye doctor. I searched for a long time before meeting him and I'm" sticking to him. I used to got for my annual eye exam and to get a prescription for contacts but recently I had
surgery and I've been going for my pre and post op visits. I'm very happy, and the staff at vision source is good too.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

This visit was to price lenses - business recommend by ophthalmologist. Not being one of their patients, I was seen by a technician who quoted a price for one set of lenses.
The quote was double what I paid elsewhere (and not one of the discount specialty places either). When asked, the technician indicated they might be able to do better on a second set of lenses. Obviously they were going to make their margin with or without selling the frames or doing the refraction exam.

I had always worn contacts, but was getting to the point in life where they weren't working as well as they used to. I'm near-sighted and don't need any correction for reading or working on a computer. I went in for a visit and the doctor offered to let me try some different types of contacts to see if I could keep wearing them. I agreed. We tried three different methods over the next three weeks but none of them worked. On the last attempt, I went to check out and the person that checked me out, which I assumed was the office manager from just observing while I waited on my appointments, charged me for the sample contacts the doctor had just given me. I pointed it out, saying this was a trial that we weren't sure would work, and I had my doubts it would. This was one pair of contacts, not like a 3 months supply. I also mentioned that I had not been charged for samples in the previous visits. She rudely informed me that this was a new policy. I asked her what happened if these didn't work, would I get a refund. She said there would be no refund or credit to my account if they didn't work. I politely informed her that I would not be taking the contacts with me and to give me a total due without the contacts. She seemed a bit surprised, but gave me a total. I paid it. She then asked if I needed to schedule a follow up visit and I said no, neither myself or any of my family members would be back and I left. I also sent a letter to the company explaining why I wouldn't be back.
Truthfully, I wasn't satisfied before that incident; When I started visiting this company, I was actually seeing

. But in the last few years, I had not seen him at all. And it was always someone different. Some were good, some not so good. It seemed to be a revolving door of doctors and staff. While they generally performed good work, my disappointment with the attempt to keep me in contacts (I felt it went on too long and was obvious contacts no longer worked for me, even though I really wanted to keep wearing them), the doctor of the week visits, and the rude office staff pushed me over the

Office staff and intake worker/nurse were extremely rude. Provider herself was very thorough and professional and friendly. I had to call twice to get copies of prescriptions and when I finally stopped to get to get them you think I had asked for the moon. Noticed there were an extremely high percentage of older patients, most with someone helping them along, so perhaps that is their niche. I was used to an eye-care provider for 15 years that really seemed concerned about my eyes. Perhaps the staff at

The visit went well! The office was packed but when we walked in the assistant had our paper work ready with our insurance information already collected. I liked the fact that I didn't have to wait for that to be done. Then within 5 minutes of entering we were taken to the back to start the preliminary testing. We were in the office for 1/2 hour or so for the complete procedure. I will definitely bring the rest of my family back to

I have been using them for 5 years. It has been very satisfactory. I've been happy with the end product. Not only the personal service but the end product. The service also. I don't know if I can really make an evaluation on that because I haven't shopped anywhere else.

Exam was quick and perfunctory but seemed good.
I chose her due to her participation in the AARP discount program, but when it came time to pay the bill the bill was not as described in the AARP guidelines. I insisted that the office staff contact AARP to find out what the guidelines are, and they revised the bill to meet the AARP description. I was unhappy that I needed to advocate for the correct billing. It seemed to me that the office should have been aware of their obligations to patients referred to them through AARP.
I was satisfied, personally, with the adjustment that was made after the call to AARP. But I am not confident that there will be follow through with future patients.

Eye technician did all distance tests, doctor dilated pupils and physical eye evaluation. Technician had bad manners with patient, my son. Made us feel like she did not want us to be there.

He was certainly very professional and thorough. He answered all of my questions. I was very happy at the time, but my prescription was not really right so I ended up going back to my old eye doctor even though he was out of network.
