"Dr.
was really great; friendly, interactive, and perceptive. My daughter really enjoyed seeing her which helped improve the accuracy of the" test results. (It's not always easy to get a 4-year-old to answer truthfully, "Which looks clearer, #1 or #2?" It was clear they had a packed schedule, and the doc worked & spoke quickly, but we were *not* rushed while in her care. My daughter was given the time she needed to take her tests and answer questions. The waiting area is really small! which on a messy, snowy day was not the most comfortable. But the building itself is beyond fancy and the exam room was clean and nice. The reception & admin staff were courteous and efficient, and when my daughter was getting sleepy between exam phases (which would compromise the exam results) they had lollipops at the ready. I wasn't sure where best to categorize this, but by far the biggest beef I had with this office was in the initial scheduling. It took me four separate days of calling multiple times a day to get a person on the phone! We were ready to give up on this office when I finally got through. Once I was speaking to a human, availability was not an issue; we got an appointment within 2 weeks of the first call. But man, was it tough to get that human. It might have been the time of year? (It was pretty close to Thanksgiving holiday) but still... The only reason we kept at it was the seeming lack of highly rated pediatric-focused optometrists & ophthalmologists in the city (or at least those that identify as such on Angie's List). That said, once we were in, I'm glad I was persistent. This office absolutely met our needs. Even if they are not the cheapest. And boy, they are not.

"I sat there for over an hour to get in. They had problems scheduling. Dr
was beligerant with patient. They also charged me for parking," they don't validated parking. I ended up leaving after the horrible experience and now I need to go to the emergency room to have my eye checked out.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

It was a smooth appointment. Dr.
Drexel Hill Pediatric Opthamologists Provider Name Locked
was efficient and was able to get the information he needed quickly, which meant minimal squirming and complaining by my son. He was not overly chatty and was primarily interested in getting the job done. All in all I would come back again if we still lived in the area.

Although he is a pediatric ophthalmologist, I want to let others know that Dr.
Drexel Hill Pediatric Opthamologists Provider Name Locked
is also a specialist in adult strabismus. He performed a surgery on my eyes, and straightened them completely. After 28 years of having this problem, and going to other 'strabismus specialists' who did not listen to me, or my needs, finding Dr.
Drexel Hill Pediatric Opthamologists Provider Name Locked
was like finding water in a desert. I cannot tell you how much his operation on my eyes has changed my life. My sight is great, and my self-confidence is through the roof. I cannot recommend him highly enough. This doctor is a miracle worker. I want to clone him. :)

Overall, happy with the exam but make sure you book 6 months to 1 year in advance. Plus had a problem with incorrect birthdate in system so my daughter's date had to be changed after waiting appro. 7-8 months----they had her scheduled to see a non pediatric optomologist and told me she couldn't come in as expected. I was very unhappy. The young lady at the appt desk was very nice. She tried many times to assist me................eventually she was able to get me in on a cancellation.

I was first referred to "Dr. Z" by our pediatrician for our son. Our first reason for seeing the doctor was that his tear ducts were still clogged. The second reason is that we have a family history of congenital glaucoma and wanted to make sure that he looked healthy. Our first appointment was when he was just a 8 months old. The office is small, but run very efficiently. I found it very reassuring to see quite a few little ones. The appointment itself was quick, but the "Dr. Z" explained every procedure and why it was being done. Everything looked good, but she wanted to see us again at a year if the tear ducts remained closed. Fortunately, they opened so he had a recheck at age two. This appointment was a little longer complete with his eyes being dilated to check for the glaucoma. Everything was fine. It was quite a relief. We could not be happier with "Dr. Z." We have also had possible pink eye scares and the office was extremely terrific about squeezing us in.

He has done two surgeries on my daughter and she sees him every year. I like his personality and that he does his follow up calls on time and he doesn’t have a nurse call me, he does it himself. My daughter has an appointment with him again next month.
