Sample Urgent Care Centers Reviews
"There were only two other patients who arrived about the same time I did. We were all called up within minutes of completing the required paperwork. I was seen by a physician's assistant who was personable, knowledgeable, and caring. I had delayed going to the doctor because I was expecting a huge wait at the office and I was hoping I would ...more just get better on my own. But after getting in so quickly and seeing such a great care provider, I felt really stupid for not going sooner."
"It went really well. We were concerned about flying in an airplane three days in the future, and the doctor gave us assurance and some helpful advice as to how to make our daughter more comfortable. They were very friendly and nice, got me in within 15 minutes."
"They are extremely professional they’re emergency trained physicians. They are very prompt. We have had an array of different issues and they have taken care of all of them. From ear infections to broken bones they have been very helpful to me, my family, and friends."
"Had used Doctor's Urgent Care on about 3 occasions before with very satisfactory experience and treating/getting rid of the conditions for myself and family members. Severe sinus infection dealt with on one occasion and bronchitis on another.
Child sports injury on one occasion.
The doctors and staff are great. Wait time may be a bit, depending ...more on when you go. The fact that you can go and get care when you either can't get to your regular doctor or if an emergency you won't pay emergency room prices. They can do X-rays and lab work there quickly so you don't wait long.
I would highly recommend these guys when you have something that needs right away care."
"I was in Portland, ME on family vacation. My daughter had a horrible earache so I searched online for a close urgent care facility. The office is attached to a hospital so I was worried about a long wait. However, the wait was reasonable, the staff friendly, the facility was clean and well maintained. The doctor diagnosed my daughter with an outer ...more ear infection and gave her the medication she needed. She was fine the next day. I was quite happy with
technician was very unprofessional. She slammed the door when she left the exam room and then told me the "wind" caused the door to slam! The x-
experience was fine, except that two of the shots were unreadable. They did not offer to read the x-rays or send them out to a radiologist. ...more I took them back to my sports medicine chiropractor who read them and asked me to take them back to be read by the radiologist. I was told it would take two days to get them back. It is now five days later and I still have no results. When I called to check on the x-rays this morning, I was told that it would take a week and that the "always" call the patient. Although this provider is 1 mile from my house, I will drive to another provider to get better service in the future."
Clinic Prompt Care for one reason, and tests showed I had another issue. While serious, it was not life threatening, but she insisted I go to the ER, and would probably be admitted. When I hesitated, she told me I had an even more serious health situation--something sounding life threatening if I weren't monitored. ...more She also told me that they share records with the hospitals and would fax their test results to the ER. I made arrangements, and went to the ER. They had no records from
Clinic (though that may have been a white lie on the hospital's part to repeat the tests) and while it was made to sound like they'd be expecting me, they were not. Same blood tests and x-
were done in the ER, and while the serious condition was there, the part she added on that sounded life-threatening was not. She worried me and several family members for no reason whatsoever."
"I walked in, with no appointment and had never been in before. I filled out paper work and 15 minutes later, I was called to the back. The staff at Doctor's Urgent Care were very friendly and helpful! The nurse took my vitals and put me in my room to wait on the doctor. Dr.
came in shortly after and she seemed genuinely ...more concerned and asked medical questions and explained strep throat. She told me what she was prescribing me and explained it in
terms. I was in and out within the hour and on my way back to work!"
"They are an after-hours urgent care center for kids. They are fantastic. We have rarely had to wait. Dr.
was our pediatrician. She was absolutely fantastic. She has helped us many times when my kids were sick and we couldn't get into the pediatrician. She has helped us with emergencies. I used this pediatrician for three ...more years. We lived right down the street from them. We drive a long way to continue to see her when we have any issues after-hours."
"It was 8pm and I was frantically looking for someplace to see my daughter that was not the ER. (I had already called all 3 E.R.s in the area and all of them had a waiting time of more than 3 hours.) I called this Urgent care after driving to the ones closer to my house and being told that they were not taking anymore patients. I called this facility ...more and told them what had happened and they told me that they would wait for me. They did. The staff was extremely friendly and very prompt. We didn't have to wait long for the Dr. and he was very patient with my daughter, even after she screamed at him and kicked him while her was trying to examine her head. The nurses were very kind and patient also. It was worth the extra 15 min drive to see such calm, caring people. Next time, I will go there first and save myself the headache."
