has been our
for several years now when our last
left his practice. We called initially because of the convenience of house calls but the quality of service is next to none. Dr.
is responsive, reliable, punctual and knowledgeable. He also lets us know in advance when he is going on vacation so we can schedule what needs to happen intelligently. When our dog
was put down after suffering from cancer, we were able to schedule a visit in our home and say our good-bye's in our home, without taking her in a car to a strange place. And our other animals were able to smell her and know that she was gone (which we heard is a good idea so they don't 'look' for the missing friend). And Dr.
took her away so we didn't even have to deal with the body. Also, for those who are price conscious, his prices are completely comparable if not better than our last
(and that includes the extra cost for the house call). Other services he provides are less than our last
(with zero 'up-sell') and more than make up for the nominal fee he charges to come to our home. He was educated at one of the best veterinary schools in the country,
, and really knows what he is doing. Dr.
is a consummate professional and we are very grateful.

Visit went very well. The assistant came in and took my cat to the van. 45 minutes the doctor and assistant
brought him back in. He was a wobbly, but he did eat within half an hour. The doctor explained what he had
done and how to provide after care.
And I know they will me in a day or so to check on his condtion.

Veterinarian reviews in Camp Hill

I have been going to Dr.Hawrhorne for as long as I can remember and have been through several pets with him.He is always very reassuring when a pet is ill,and I feel like they care for the owner,as well as the pet.I have the utmost confidence in this clinic.I always know I will get an accurate diagnosis with no unnecessary testing.I I know my dogs are receiving the best care when I take them there. You are never rushed, and he always takes however much time you need.Highly recommend.

My dog really liked Dr.

and he seems nice. This was my second visit and both times I left with the same feeling that I was not comfortable. I realized that I am not comfortable talking with Dr.
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
this may just be his personality vs mine. I have decided to not go back because of my comfort level. I was also not happy that I did not get a print out of services and cost, just got a receipt of the debit charge, which I thought was a bit overpriced. But because I did not get a break down of charges I don't really know. Again, my dog really liked him and I think he has a true compassion for the animals in his care, I just didn't get any "warm" and "fuzzy".

The service rendered by this provider and his staff has been exceptional. Honest billing, no padding the bill as other vets have done to us. We have found

Our lab-mix had a growth on his right paw. Dr.
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
's quoted $3800 to remove it and "necessary" testing. Our dog is 14 years old and we didn't want him rebuilt, just comfortable for his last couple years. Valley Vet did the procedure at less than half the cost and our "Shady" is doing great!! They did not do all the "UNNECESSARY" BS that
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
's wanted. VALLEY VET is our new vet for our 6 dogs.

Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
is all about the Benjamins!!!!! I don't think that
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
has any idea what is going on in his office anymore.

We started with
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
office last year after some mixed feelings about our previous Vet. We had 7 dogs and just started with teeth cleanings, which seemed to go O/K but was expensive. Our 10 year old Chihuahua, Roxi became ill so we took her to
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. They diagnosed Pancreatitis and recommended a 3 day treatment plan. After the 3 days she was no better and we were out fifteen hundred bucks. A week later we took her to be euphonized and one of the Drs said "

we felt from the first she wouldn't make it". What to h***?? They were happy to play on our attachment to the animal and take our money, but gave us little indication she wouldn't make it. Being stupid and not learning from this experience a month later we took our 14 year old Lab, Shady to them. He had a growth on his rt paw. As soon as the Dr looked at it she said it was too much for the regular Drs to handle and we needed an Orthopedic, which just happened to be there. I explained this is a 14 year old rescue dog and didn't want him rebuilt, just remove the growth and perhaps a toe so he would be comfortable his last couple years. His quote was $3600 to $3900. WOW!!!!!! I asked to do just the needed stuff and work the quote down. Still at $2900. We then went to Valley Vet Clinc for a consult and quote. $1600, guess who's doing the procedure. Time for another Vet!!!

We took in a feral cat who was in terrible condition. Our first visit to different
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for neutering last year was very traumatic. We decided to try a different

next time, and found
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. The vets name is

Mongini. She was very professional, as was her attendant. She was very punctual on both visits to our home. It was so much easier for us to have a
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
come to our home for the treatment, and was worth the extra $20.00 charge. She explained everything she was doing, and added that giving too many vaccines on one day was not a good idea. Thus, the next appointment was made for two weeks. We also use Revolution pet meds, which I get from 1-800-Pet Meds. I asked her for a new prescription, She said she can get them from her supplier and I asked the cost. She looked it up and the cost was $5.00 more than I pay 1-800-Pet Meds. So she wrote me a new Rx without hesitation. She was wonderful with our cat, and a very personable young woman.
We will be using her services from now on. We were very happy with the whole procedure and results.

Our cats get sick every year after a trip to their former vet. We didn't know if they got sick from stress, shots or the office.
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
came to the home and the cats did fine after the shots, so it's either the stress or the office. We paid about the same as we would with our former vet in his office. It was so convenient to have her come to the house. She took the time to interacted with the cats, reviewing their history and made future recommendations to keep them healthy. She is certainly the vet we will be using in the future. Thanks

Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was AMAZING!!!! She made sure that she read through a lll of the information provided by my vet in Illinois. BEFORE she even came into the room to meet my pets! She was able to come to the exam room with a complete history. It was refreshing not to have to explain the health issues of my elderly cat. She was as happy to meet my dog and cat as she was to meet me. What a relief to find a veterinarian with such caring and knowledge! Dr
Camp Hill Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
even gave my puppy treats to distract him while he was getting his shots! I am absolutely thrilled to have met her and will continue at the vet practice for as long as we live in the
