"Unfortunately, I have been to dermatologists since I was 18 months old, and I have only been to two who I consider to be excellent. Dr. Brieva is one. Even though" I went to him for the itchy and burning skin, I had other complaints as well. I travel very far to see him, and I try to make early appts so I won't have to wait long in the sitting room. In fact, on this visit, I arrived along with the staff! I told him my issues -- one of which I've had for a long time -- and he prescribed something I could get over the internet. It's effective and inexpensive. The other medication I had used had expired, and it meant a lot to have him prescribe something cost-effective. He also prescribed something for another complaint, but that didn't go as expected. I don't blame him for that. We are all different and will react to medications differently. What works wells for one person might not for another. But I have been going to him for about 20 years, and I'm very happy with him. I just wish he were closer -- but I moved. Not him. I have seen 2 other doctors I've gone to on Angie's List, and they've received very good scores. This is a surprise to me cause I didn't think they were that good. I went to them because they were closer but they were certainly not better. I think Dr. Brieva is an excellent doctor, and I'm glad I found him!

"Overall, my experience deserves an F rating. Fortunately, Dr.
herself is not the major cause of this. She is very nice doctor, however, her" office is dirty and her staff is rude and unprofessional. Walking into the exam room my shoes were sticking to the floor; it was disgusting. The receptionist/billing woman is a by far the weakest link of the organization. If anyone under my employment treated patients the way she does I would fire them immediately. She was condescending, unfriendly, and not competent about patient rights and privacy laws. This woman bad-mouthed me and shared my information within ear-shot to someone that was NOT providing me care and therefore was NOT privy to any of my personal and protected health information. I will never go back to this doctor because of her.

He is an outstanding doctor, very competent and caring toward his patients. His staff is terrific. You won't find better than him. I've seen Dr.
Butler Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
since he first opened his practice and had previously seen 2 different dermatologists in the area. I'm glad he's younger than I am, so hopefully he can be my physician for the rest of my life.

The team provided lots of explanations before and during the procedure, giving us a detailed understanding of the risks and seriousness of the situation. The surgery lasted several hours because the doctor needed to make sure the entire affected area had been removed. My husband is very satisfied with the tissue repair as it leaves minimal scarring. He did not feel any pain at all during and after the procedure despite the large size of the tumor removed. He went back 10 days later for stitches removal and check-up: everything looked good and went according to the healing schedule the doctor had promised. The only caveat comes from a billing confusion. We received a bill from a separate lab for the biopsy and mistakenly paid
Butler Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. Even though they had not invoiced us for that amount and my husband even showed them the lab's paper invoice, they took the payment without flinching... We only found out about the mistake 6 weeks later when the lab sent us another invoice with late charges. However, they reacted very promptly to our call explaining the situation and sent us a refund via check the same day. Overall, we're very satisfied with the services provided.

His office staff was extremely friendly, which is so refreshing. The office itself was beautifully decorated and very clean. The doctor had a very nice rapport with me and explained everything thoroughly. I also felt he was very concerned with helping me and took his time explaining. He put me at ease and there was no pressure at all.

I had no problems making an appointment. The office was quite crowded the day I went since there are several physicans in the practice, nevertheless there was comfortable seating for eveyone. Check in was easy and I was greeted and taken into the exam room on time. Dr.
Butler Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
is friendly had obviously read my record ( I hadn't been there in several years but she asked questions relevant to prior visits). She confirmed my reason for being there, gave me my skin exam and described the procedure and aftercare of the removal of a growth on my face.
Her assitant prepped me well, asked appropriate questions regarding anesthesia and when I indicated I prefered to sit rather than lie down and provided the reason I was accomodated without question. The doctor came in, performed the procedure and was able to divert me while doing so. Everything went as explained to me, aftercare was again explained (I also received written instructions) . I returned to the waiting room, checked out and that was that.

Dr.
Butler Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
was able to prescribe me to an oral medication that cleared my face up within one week (and was extremely inexpensive). She also prescribed me some wash and moisturizer that contains spf and is gentle on my overly oily skin. I'm always extremely impressed by the staff at
Butler Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
, as well as how punctual they are. I never wait longer than a couple minutes for my appointment. Overall they're an A Plus office and I would have no trouble recommending them for anyone looking for an educated, understanding, and helpful dermatologist.

It kind of seems like she's not always knowing what she's doing. Her staff and office are good. She's not a bad dermatologist, but I just think there's others who are better. If she's close to you and on your insurance, she's okay.
